- This video shows ow to make a full day meal plan . Millets have been introduced along with the practise of taking methi seeds soaked over right in water. Millets are gluten free and help in controlling blood sugar levels too.

My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.

Wow aunty...the way you explaining is to the point and no drama at all...so simplicity and genuineness...I bought brown basmati rice..but it is too much time taking to cook...instead in Maharashtra we are getting hand pounded (hatsadi) which awesome taste

Very good recipes for diabetics and weight loss
As always a great meal plan Gita Mam! Best for a lockdown time as our activities are limited and balanced diet will help us to maintain/ loss weight. I make Ragi rotti regularly for breakfast ( it’s quite common in Karnataka) we usually add cumin seeds and also add veggies like grated carrots, methi leaves etc., it gives excellent taste. ALso I make Ragi dosa.... it’s 1:4 proportion.. 1 cup urad dal 4 cups Ragi flour... soak urad dal for 3 to 4 hours along with 1 teaspoon methi seeds and grind them . To this add Ragi flour and some water.. mix well... let it set for 8 to 10 hours or until fermented. The consistency should be of our regular rice dosa.... we can make crispy n tasty ragi dosa , ragi uttappams etc., 😊 Thank you for the new recipes Gita Mam 🙏🏻
