I am 58 and never been a really “great” cook. My new hubby of almost 5 years thinks I cook really good, now that I found you and started binge watching!! I can’t thank you enough Laura!! Please keep posting recipes and tips!! You are so beautiful and adorable!!
OMG!!! I WAS LITERALLY DANCING IN MY KITCHEN AFTER EVERY BITE!!!!! I ate it over rice, the sauce/gravy that the onions make is perfect!!! I ate til I was sick because I couldn't stop eating it! SO VERY GLAD I FOUND YOUR COOKING VIDEOS AND SOOOO very thankful that you share!
Great Recipe, have made this many times but I have one suggestion. Do NOT put the garlic on the chops at the beginning. It will burn and taste bad. Add it to the onions when they are done, 1 or 2 mins before putting in the chicken stock. You will still get the flavor without the burnt garlic taste.
+mandy haven just made it with the garlic on the chops never burned browned nicely. The key is to keep the heat low then you won't burn the herbs and use a good pan. I have ceramic but keep the heat low!
Hey Laura 8 Firefighters and 6 Paramedics were in heaven when I presented this at our table when it was my duty to cook!!! Thank you beautiful, it was a epic dinner!!
My very first time making chops. Got a massive amount from Costco. They always have an excellent quality of meats. Made my own ghetto chicken stock. Water, poultry seasoning and butter. Bam! Still delish. lol Mr. Wonderful. .aka my fiance couldn't get enough. Home run again Laura
This recipe has taught me how to make my own gravy and I truly appreciate it. I didn’t have most of the ingredients but I did have Goya tomato paste, I used the Cajun instead and I used basil leaves , I used the chopped onions from the bottle and sea salt. It came out so good , it had a little spice to it too.
Oh my damn!! I'm just always happy that not only do you share your FABULOUS recipes, BUT they're very easy to follow and I love most of them. You should know port chops and onions are without a doubt two of my faves, so put them together in any way possible, and I AM ON HAPPY CUSTOMER!! And most times, aside for maybe one ingredient or the meat itself for a particular dinner, I usually have all I need in my pantry. I truly love the end, when you do the taste test. It's so AWESOME how you genuinely enjoy the food you cook and I'm sure, esp then, that I WILL TOO!! I Love food, I Love eating and I Love sharing. So, I'm always sure to pass along your recipes. Thanks LOADS Laura, please don't ever stop!! You bring MAD JOY to so many tummys!! Arlene
I made this tonight for our dinner. It was a big hit with all the family! I also made mashed potatoes and corn for the sides. Used some of the gravy juice on top my mashed potatoes. Yummy! It was so easy to make and tasted and looked like 5 star restaurant quality! Thank you, Laura, for another great recipe!
Just made these yesterday and I have to say, these were a big hit! Best porkchops I've ever eaten! The onions are DELICIOUS too and I usually hate onions! Thanks again Laura for another great recipe!

OMG Laura I made these for dinner tonight. I had everything except fresh herbs so I used dried Italian seasoning and had some rosemary in the freezer. So I threw a sprig of that in the sauce while it finished cooking. This is a keeper!! So flavorful!!

Cooked this this evening and it was soooo good. My family and I don't care for rosemary so I left it off but followed the rest of the recipe to the T. Also I don't know the size of your family, but I have a large one and this recipe also doubles just great. Family left the table asking for it again next week and I told them it can be done with chicken too so we will be trying that next week. Laura thank you for your time in making these videos I can't wait to try more of them.
I made these last night with mashed potatoes, gravy, and home grown broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. The pork chops were excellent. I also used home grown parsley and rosemary for the pork chops. Thanks for the recipe.

Just enjoyed this pork chop recipe at home with Mashed Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. Thank you for all the cooking tips throughout the video. I'm hooked; on your website now!
I did my own twist after your garlic idea smashed into the chops. Only I used thyme, oregano, sea salt, and pepper all mixed in a small bowl. Then I zested some orange peel into my seasonings. Then coated the chops on each side. I hit my cast iron pan with 2 tblsp of olive oil and heated up my skillet over medium high. I cooked my chops for 4 mins per side. I also shook some baby red, yellow, and orange peppers in some olive oil and put a nice blackened sear on em and layed em over the chops. I deglazed my skillet with 1 cup of water. Then poured all of that goodness over the chops and peppers. Served with baked beans, corn on the cob and sugar free applesauce with a dash of cinnamon. The zest took it up like 5 notches! Was insanely delish!!
Excellent recipe as always!!!! I've been doing your recipes for the last 6 months and they have been a success with my family. Keep giving us your secrets :-) .
Made this today for my coworkers, and ended up having none left because everyone in my house were begging to eat some! It was DELICIOUS Laura!!! Thank you, can't wait to make it again!! :-)

Thanks. good suggestion. You were spot on bruh
was thinking the same thing about burning garlic . thanks for suggestion

+Harold M ofcourse you did! you infidel swine eater
+Harold M AND always chop the garlic before you put it in the pan, since it does lose some of the aroma if chopped long before you put it in the pan.
