- It's so easy and delicious, this recipe is sure to find a spot on your menu. You don't need much time to prepare these pork chops and you'll have an unforgettable delicious lunch or dinner on the table. The whole family will love these succulent, pan-fried chunks of meat with mushroom sauce. Combined with cabbage pancakes, it is a delicious accompaniment to a meat dish. Cook with love! Cook with joy!
Ingredients and preparation:
4 pork chops (900g)
Salt
Be sure to salt the fat layer
Black pepper
On both sides
Heat a frying pan well
30 grams of butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fry the pork chops over medium heat
The frying time depends on the size of the chop
I seared them for about 8 minutes on each side, gradually reducing the heat to avoid burning the meat
7-10 mushrooms
Don't forget to brown the layer of fat
Place on a plate and cover with foil
Fry the mushrooms until golden brown
If necessary, add olive oil
1 onion
Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes
3 cloves of garlic
Fry the garlic for about 1 minute
1 ½ tablespoons flour
Stir well and sauté for 1-2 minutes
330 ml hot chicken stock (or other stock)
Bring to a boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes
Salt
Black pepper
Put the pork steaks back in the pan
Fry for 3 to 5 minutes
Add parsley and the dish is ready
As a side dish, I suggest making cabbage pancakes
300 g white cabbage
Douse with boiling water
Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes
½ large onion
Fry soft
1-2 cloves of garlic
Fry for another 30 seconds and then remove from the heat
Drain the cabbage and let cool slightly
Add the onions
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
black pepper
2 small eggs (or 1 large egg)
35 g wheat flour (2-2 ½ tablespoons flour)
Mix well
Heat frying pan with frying oil
Fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes over medium heat
Serve with sour cream or yogurt
Enjoy your meal!

Very easy to make and never had a cabbage pancake before....interesting addition to the meal. Love your presentation. Thank you.
Same thoughts,
going to try thos pancakes,
very interesting idea !
Thanks !!
I make something similar to this, but I add some half & half. Makes it so much better. You can also add sauerkraut without the half & half and let it cook down. My aunt was German
My grandma was from Alsace she cooked these types of dishes. One of her dishes was like: a chopped up chicken browned, sausage browned, pork shoulder browned, potatoes, sour kraut, white beans, bottle of white wine all thrown in a pot and cooked all day… it was something like that give or take but it was awesome like a single pot dinner before there was such a thing lol she was nicest person always happy, never negative always a kind word. Could of been the cooking with wine 😮😂 love ya grandma
Well-written and easy to follow instructions. It looks delicious. Thank you.
Looks great. I will be making those cabbage pancakes for sure.

An excellent presentation those chops look fantastic enough when you merely browned them, but when you introduced them into that delectable and amazing mushroom sauce you took this meal to a another level. The chops look both succulent and juicy along with those shredded cabbage pancakes on the side. This is truly a 5 star meal. Very nice!

A simple, yet delicious looking meal. Thankyou for posting. I will have a go soon as my last efforts get low. I tend to follow the recipe to the letter initially but being just me that means I have to spread the meal across the week to consume. At 2nd or 3rd attempt I have the confidence to scale and also get to know which meals can be reheated without spoiling somewhat.
You can't get this in a restaurant looks delicious 😋
Do people still eat at restaurants? That’s disgusting. Do you know how filthy those places are? The kitchens are toilets.
Wow that looks delicious I need to try that😋💕
Oh..... that all looks great.... normally I don't cook pork chops because they get dry, but these look juicy and fabulous!
This will be in the kitchen today, thanks for the handy list and directions!
In the USA we call this smother pork chops. One of the oldest southern dish in the south.

@@criconinvestments7723 I cooked both and it made the list to cook again. The wife and myself liked it also saved some prepared cabbage and cooked it with leftover chops next night.

Yes. Most Americans don't know toRINSE the3saurkraut tomellow it out. MY mom ( and me-too) brown ribs or chops in a bigroaster in the oven. Then we cover with chopped onions, kraut and poura beer on it. She also added a shot of gin. Thealcohol2cooks off, leaving flavor3. Next3day we make dumplings. Heavenlyeating! Your pork chops look really good. I've got my Sunday dinner here!!

Looks absolutely Scrumptious....👍
My step mother used to make a similar dish but to shorten the time she just used Campbell's Golden Cream of Mushroom soup, I do not like mushrooms but loved it when she made these pork chops. I am sure this recipe is better because it is made from fresh ingredients.
I refuse to ever use any can soup for any recipe. My chef instructor would say things like that are a lazy way of doing things. Remember when restaurants tried to start a trend of mash potatoes with the skins mashed with them? UGH That's when you know that the restaurant that serves that is not a good eating establishment.
@@sweetrosemary2000 And look at the ingredients in the canned soup: a lot of sodium, preservatives and additives. Not a healthy choice. For my preference, she uses much more salt than I will use. But that's just me. On the other note: I cook all my potatoes, all types (russets, reds, golds) and potato recipes with the "skins" (jackets), and I eat the skins. There is a great amount of nutrients in the skins.
I agree and French fries with the skins on as well, I refuse to buy them. One place we always used to go to for burgers and fries, changed from really great fries to skin on fries, I told them they suck, they has loss my business.
@@sweetrosemary2000 Both parents worked full time time jobs and were trying to raise six kids one with epilepsy. Besides trying to keep a 2000 sq foot home clean and laundry done for all of those kids I would hardly call her lazy.
Taking a shortcut to try and still put a nutritious meal on the table for her husband and kids is admirable to me. Your chef instructor needs to walk a mile in someone else's shoes.
If you have all day to cook instead of just an hour after finishing an 8 hour shift where you had to deal with the public, run errands, do grocery shopping maybe she could have cooked a meal like chef's do.
@@swenhanson4125 To each his own I love the skins on my potatoes. It is my favorite part of a baked potato, not to mention a lot of the nutritional value of a potato lies in the skin.
There is a local burger chain where I live that makes their own fries by simply running them through a cutter and frying them up., best tasting fries I have ever eaten.
Cabbage latkes? Hmm, sounds interesting. I think I might add some grated apple into the mix.
Cabbage seems really big in recipes right now
Looks delicious
Looks delic! Will try it. Ty for sharing.

This was almost painful for me to watch, because I was constantly reminded of my father. I kept wishing I could share it with. him. How he would have enjoyed it. Dad was an architect, with a real gift for restoration, and he died well over 20 years ago, but when I watch something like this I can feel him with me. Thank you!
Nancy, thank you for sharing such a personal story here🙏. It's truly heartwarming to read how this video made you feel connected to your father. I'm honored that my content could elicit such emotions. Sending you lots of love and hugs.
A must try….. I already know, the chops are awesome but the cabbage is a new MUST try……… Thanks!
