My family love Country Sausage. My aunt used to make this every time we went to visit. We prefer Pork Sausages. 3-4 pork sausage per person 5 slices of bacon cut into lardons 2 onions diced Red or Green bell pepper diced Mushrooms sliced (optional) Tomatoes (I use cherry tomatoes halved) Chicken stock Seasoning to taste. Cook sausages in a medium heat skillet, in a little oil. When browned all over remove from pan and set aside. Drain any excess oil. Put bacon, onion and peppers in pan and fry until onions are softened. (Mushroom next if using) Add tomatoes and cook for a couple mins, add chicken stock, and let sauce reduce slightly, should thicken itself from tomato flesh. Season to taste. Excellent served with rice although being English we have it with chunky home made chips (fries) if you want to spice it up you can add some chilli. Would love to see you try this Laura and Joe, it's one of those meals that is easy to make all in one pot.
Okay, I know a lot of people say that their meals are easy... but like I am consistently blown away att how easy her recipes are. She sautéd her onions + Garlic, pan fried her chops with the seasoning and sauce and she was basically done. Amazing job, Laura.
Laura I just want to take a moment to tell you how much I love you. Because of you and The Domestic Greek I don't poison my family any more. I'm only 15 and I took Home Economics in school but I only learnt to cook about 5 dishes. And since I subscribed to your channel I have become a better cook than my Mum. So thank you for your quick and simple but still delicious dishes.
Laura: I always go to your bbq sauce recipe but I have to confess I use 1 cup of bourbon whiskey instead of 1cup of water... and the result is amazing!!! my ribs (also from your recipes) are always glased with this sauce with bourbon and seriously is heaven on piece of pork!! yummy!!
Laura! I made this last night for dinner. This was one of the BEST pork chop dishes I even made. In addition to the onions and garlic - I added a sliced banana pepper as well as a big chopped tomato to skillet. It all came together once I added the BBQ sauce. Thank you!!!!
Having just used this skillet for the first time, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxIst1DRMCWM6dgd9VjXMFXlH4HeElE6Mc to batter-fry some macaroni & cheese, I'm absolutely in love with it. The foldaway design means it actually fits in my very small kitchen, but it also makes everything crazy simple to clean. While the instructions say you should not deep fry in this, you can, but do it with your best judgment; in my case the oil didn't even reach the halfway mark. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the skillet itself has a lip in the corner. This allows steam to get out during cooking if the lid is on (so don't try to steam rice in it), and makes pouring out used oil extremely easy.Cleanup was a dream. After detaching the plug and control circuit, the unit is just three separate pieces: The skillet itself, the lid, and the base which may or may not need any cleaning at all (usually just the handles). Compared to a dedicated deep fryer I purchased in the past, where the heating element was suspended in the oil and everything was difficult to clean, the difference was amazing.I'm definitely looking forward to using this for more things in the future.
This is such a staple at my house, during the summer. I don't have an outdoor grill, but this comes together so quick, and easy....for weeknight dinner or when friends are over, and every one is hungry. I always make extra sauce, since I serve BBQ with rice, and the sauce just looks pretty on rice...Thank you for the video...
This is the only way I cook my boneless pork chops! It's so simple, but sooo delicious! The chops are very juicy with the tender onions and the bbq sauce. I even used it to make ground pork patties. Thank you for sharing your cooking skills with us! 😊
I love watching your cooking channel all the time. I'm trying to be more motivated to cook new things everyday. I notice your stepping your came putting videos everyday keep up the great work. Love you & take care.
Just made these. They are to die for. I used some left over chick fill bbq sauce I had. I didn't have Worcester sauce but I did have some left over meat sauce (crushed tomatoes with barely any beef and seasoning & herbs) and this came out soooooooo good. Wish I made like 8 of them. Super easy, but yet so delicious. Thanks again Laura for teaching me all i know about food
My mum used to always serve Apple sauce with pork chops when I was young. Then, I started to cook them with store bought bbq sauce on the George Foreman grill. But, the thing was losing the non-stick coating so I never buy anything non-stick anymore! Lately I started serving Apple sauce with pork chops again, sometimes adding maple syrup(a Canadian thing), and frying them in bacon drippings. I will never go back to bbq chops again. But, I LOVE bbq chicken! Thanks, Laura. From, a Canadian fan :)
I love your recipes and I always recreate them!!! One thing I would like to suggest is maybe putting up the video and recipe on your blog up at the same time. For example I want to make this today and this video has been up for about 3 hours and the recipe is not up on your blog yet. :/ Thanks for everything you do!!
Hello Laura!! I love your videos, always making my mouth water and cooking up dinner for the kids and my parents with your recipes! Could you show us how to make Tiramisu ? It's kinda expensive to buy a full tray at a bakery. And hard to find a good video of how to make it.
I've made this recipe twice now - turned out great with cubed steak as well as with boneless pork chops. My husband just love it - kept saying as he ate it, "Damn, this is good." Thanks for the easy and tasty recipe!
i made mine a littke different only because i didnt have all the ingredients and was still amazing so i can only imagine if id had it all💜💚 thank you Lauara Vitalle
These were delicious I let my 10 yr old son make these with just a little help from mom which shows you just how easy this recipe is...and did I mention it was DELICIOUS??!!! 😋
Laura, can you do a series on quick and easy lunch recipes? I have an hour for lunch (which works out to be about 35-40 minutes once I'm through traffic) and I always feel rushed when I'm making and eating lunch. I get so tired of the sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc. I prefer HOT meals so a lot of the time it means that I'm hitting up at DT or making something convenient but unhealthy. I'm okay to do a little prep work in the evenings but I hate leftovers... THANKS!
Hi iam mahsa from iran i really love your cooking and you inspired me to cook cause i was really bad at it but now i have learn alot from you and iam good thank u
I'm not into cooking much, but I discovered your channel, and I'm venturing, trying new things, but things like this, I fell short because sometimes don't know ehat to serve them with. it would be great if you give some recommendations about what could be accompany with. Thanks a billion for the great recipes.
This recipe was so easy! Saw in the vlog you used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce!! It's my favorite and I used the same. Maybe next time I'll try your sauce recipe instead of a store bought one.
*For Joe*: Can't you put the video on private until the recipe goes live on the website and only then make the video public? This will make so many people happy as I always see complaints about this issue in the comments. love you guys
That looks great Laura, I like it sauce too :-) Out of curiosity, were the chops tender? I find lately with pork being so lean that boneless chops often need a brine. Would love a quick and easy recipe like this where brining isn't necessary.
lamllemaussade I'm unable to do it tonight. I'm kind of debating what to side it with. Lately I've been a Kale, Broccoli, and Spinach fiend as my side veggies. I may just pair it with some quinoa and lentils.
Laura in the Kitchen Hey Laura, Greetings ! :) listen I tried your pizza recipes and they turned out great, and everyone loves them ! Thanks a lot for that! Can you please show a recipe for a wheat based thin crust recipe ? Like the one available at Domino's or other italian restaurants, the ones they call wood burnt pizzas ? Thanks a lot, appreciate it !!

Can you make a video on how to make bagels??
Just wondering what brand is your skillet? I live in Australia and cannot find a skillet this shape that is non stick but NOT Teflon. Any suggestions?
We stay away from seasoning mixes, because we like to customize our dishes as much as we can. What do you suggest as a homemade alternative?
I usually use Paprika, oregano and salt + pepper :) works a charm
Barbecued pork chops yummmm
Salivating too...
