Cool. I went from the Prospero to the Kask Mojito. The Mojito is a great helmet at half the price of the Protone.
Mojito is a cracking good helmet. I almost bought one but it was $200 AUD compared to the Specilized Prospero at $150 AUD so I went for the cheap one that is also very good.

I love the way the Kasks are tight against the back of the head unlike that UFO Simon Yates wears and a bunch of other helmets.

So funny, I just made the same irrational purchase, but....but....I’ve been riding with a ten year old Giro that was akin to a tin can. I do have two nice mountain bike helmets. A Bell and my irrational mtn bike helmet was a 6D, cause I could color match my Epic Pro with that funky green. My Protone is black and red, which matches my Epic SWorks but not my Roubaix Pro. Anyone wanna buy a Epic Pro, I’ll throw in the helmet

Ride Adelaide Racing? Seems like hitting one's head would be a scary and rare event. Maybe you were subconsciously hoping for it so you would have an excuse to try another new helmet!

my head size is 56cm I tried the medium its big but the store doesn't have small, I'm afraid if I order small online it would be small for me as small size range 52-56cm, what's your advise

My head is 7 cm but the medium did not fit and needed the large. but the large fits like a medium giro
Skulls are super weird, man! I have an M in Specialized & Kask, I fit an L in Giro, Lazer, and Met. I swear my head would look like a golf ball if I shaved it down to skin.

You cracked two helmets, in what sounds like, less than a year? Dude, perhaps you need airbags instead? ;) Kidding, thanks for posting this so I could check out the profiles of both of your helmets, looks good.
I went through a phase of crashing while going uphill in 2017... First time was a Speedplay cleat releasing while climbing. What an asshole! Second time was getting a little too spicy on a gravel climb and binning it in a hairpin at pretty slow speed. No cracked helmets since then!

The rubber pads on the cups of the octo-fit are absolute dogshit and
literally fell off after a couple of rides. The retention system on the
Mojito helmet is far better. The padding inside the Protone is good
though and wicks away moisture very well. Shame Kask couldn't combine
the two......

I've wore med in prevail same on kask protone
I see there is a size difference prevail is 55cm to 59cm but kask is 52cm on the low end...that's my issue...thanks for the feedback

The " leather" chin strap it is not so.... leather. In my helmet it started pealing after 6 months and the answer from kask was that this is normal and can't be replaced. Totally low quality product. I will never buy again.
yeah but it is a kask.... made in italy! say no more, anyway, i think they are the most comfortable, i like the infinity!
I do really dig Kask. I've gone with Specialized for the last couple of years because they're cracking value. Couldn't resist this badboy though.

Stuff costs a crapload here! Plus, I bought from a store. Shit, where did I get 300g from...? Must have been tripping balls. I'll dig out my scales!

I got this bad boy from Cycle Closet on Hyde St in the CBD, juuust off Pirie.
It is funny in my country the protone is just like 30€ more than the prevail. There must be something wrong with the prices in Australia. A Protone here is around 200€.
Very ugly sunglasses i must say. Very uncyclist. Take care.
