Tom, I have the all-white KASK Protone, and I like it. It's a different feel versus our Giro Synthe. I don't think the KASK likes anything on my head underneath it gives me a slight headache unlike my Giro, but I still adore it. Additionally, I want to do ZWIFT also, but the weather here In Cali is AMAZING!!! Thx for sharing!!! 😎🤙🏽
The adjustable thing on the back of the protone always digs into my head :( Now I use an octal for the road and a synthe for off road. The protone look sooo good from the rear through :(
@@CyclingTom in my case I have a tower pc so cable brings ant+ under trainer its a bluerigger cable maybe different if you have a laptop connection may be better,
Not first 🥺 I’m onto my second Tacx Flux after having issues with an earlier model number that were notoriously problematic but was replaced by Tacx with no dramas. The replacement is a later model that had the bugs worked out of them and has been bulletproof for me for just on 2 years with plenty of use on TrainerRoad.
Flux s is the go mate i use it too but make sure you get an ant+ dongle and a USB extender cable to get the connection super solid i use the garmin ant dongle and a 2 metre extender
I've got a Wahoo kickr orginal, still works fine but has always over read the watts hence I always use it with my Assioma pedals. Next time I'm going Tacx Neo, no calibration required, works without power for TT warm ups etc. from whatI've read seems consistent. The Neo 2T is due out soon so look out for a good deal on an older model. Sure you're aware but DC Rainmaker and GP lama offer good reviews on youtube for all trainers.
If it's cold enough for a jacket then your knees should also be covered. I use the 2018 Wahoo Kickr. Works flawlessly but that's what you're paying for i guess.
I have the Elite Direto trainer, it was a decent price here in Canada vs Tacx/Wahoo and a lot of the reviewers said that it offers the best bang-for-buck. I think they just released a slightly updated version at Eurobike.
Ive had Flux and Direto, definitely go the direto over flux, more reliable and better inertia which helps u keep on top of those watts😀 look forward to your livestreams bro 😎
To much money for a helmet with a poor material quality like Kask! I have one of these and after 10 rides the protection of belt in syntetic material starts damage and kask don´t cover these defect! Never buy kask again!
You supposed to give a feedback regrading the Kask!!?

Elite Direto I have had mine nearly one year no problems so far, ant+ dongle and extension cable for a stable connection.
I need to get a Ant+ dongle too that will help

Weathers mad over there atm . Wifey said Napier copped a massive hailstorm -looked like snow everywhere then followed by a 5.3 earthquake 😨😨😨
Yeah it's been cold here for the last week. Weather is getting hotter now though
@@CyclingTom it's currently 34 here in Brisvegas

I have been using an Elite one so that could be good option
Hey Tom love the videos bro and i wish al the best of luck for you.
Why don't you invest in a Co2 canaster
I could do haha just lazy and my pump gets the job done... slowly
@@CyclingTom that is tru
Amazing super red jersey what is the name, brand? :)
I got the tacx flux from Evo 18months ago. Awesome tainer..no issues at all.
Cheers
How heavy is the helmet ?
Nice video, how was the helmet?
Hi Tom. You live in an amazing country. Was there doing world mountain trophy in 2005. Morning from Ireland.
3:55 repair, better for earth!
I have the wahoo kicker 2019 and love it.
Cheers Robert
Sounds like you're using Bluetooth to connect to the computer. Try the ANT+ usb connector to fix this. Bluetooth is notorious for dropping connection.
You thought about trying tubeless wheels?
Yup looking into it for a gravel race
Are you racing Taupo this year
Yup think Madi and I will head up

Thanks for that will look into them
Have a look at the kickr core slightly cheaper than the kickr but with the same gubbins inside. Them Tax trainer's arnt that good.
Thanks mate
why do you not use a CO2 cartridge?
Will look into it
Why not use a any pump large enough to include a rubber hose so you don't tear the rubber around the valve trying to pump it up and stranding yourself
I use wahoo kickr core and it is really good
Cheers
Kask??!! Wrong title for your vid mate
I use wahoo kicker and also have the elite dorito.
Cheers Caleb
I have the cycleops hammer 2 and it works great
It’s stupid spring that is what is up with the weather
Dont use continental GP..
Wahoo kickr core
Cheers
You should get a trike

Direto X
kicker is so good the tax trainer is not as good
