  • www.dunsondental.com . Anyone how has ever suffered tooth loss can understand the embarassment of constantly hiding their smile and the social awkwardness that accompanies difficulty speaking and chewing. And one lost tooth can cause a multitude of mouth problems and be costly to fix.

Once you get your tooth pull, partials, fixed bridges cause problems, and implants cause bone loss too.

If implants are better for your health then why in 2019 does insurance consider it "COSMETIC" and not cover it, I feel like you all just want the moeny!

Guess I'm just gonna have to get all my teeth pulled and make my own wooden dentures because those prices are outrageous and I can't afford to pay more for temporary fake teeth that won't fit right in a year or two than I have for any vehicle I've ever owned.

Teeth are among the very few things you’ll be taking with you into the grave. Think about it. Already placed two implants and still need three, they are very good indeed, so far, functionally, hygiene wise, esthetically. Financially, it was expensive, yes, but I broke a frontal tooth and a pre-molar, in an accident, had not many choices.
The gaps that still need to be filled are not visible, thought I would just ignore that but I’ve been having second thoughts, especially seeing how effective properly done implants can be. To keep your mouth “presentable” and healthy, not talking about Hollywood smile here.., life long care is needed. I’ve been seeing a dentist every year at least once, just to prevent further issues. Some people might need less, there’s a hereditary factor too.

If I had my teeth pulled by different dentists long time ago (4 molars in each side both upper and lower teeth) and I currently have braces for over a year now, is there anything I can do so my profile won't look flat after braces?

Ethan Barry that’s what happens when the government doesn’t give a fuck about you. They sell you 1$ for some candy that will rot your teeth and then charge you 1000$+ when you need teeth fixed. That’s all give a fuck about is money. Not you, not me, just themselves and money.

Robert James Chinnery really. Im so scared and mad and sad. I'm only 25 and I have perfect teeth I have a cavity on my back molar on top and it's so decayed I gotta get it pulled. They told me my teeth will move so dentist and to look into a bridge or implants. I really can't afford an implant and the bridge sounds scary. Sawing down other healthy teeth to replace one. No thank you. I'd rather just have that one missing. Its a very back tooth. But still. I'm so scared my smile will be messed up. I know my dad has lots of back teeth pulled and it's been years they still haven't really moved. They give him no problems.

I agree. My mom is missing most of her molars (and has for many years) and has no shifting.
