I had to have all of my teeth pulled because of the meds that I take because I am a diabetic. I haven't smiled in 3 years, and I work in customer service where I have to deal with people face to face everyday. When we started wearing the mask because of covid, most are not wearing them now, but I am. Wish you were closer

Dunno hey....I had a front tooth replaced, one implant, took antibiotics and had to wait 3 months for it to heal and set properly. Had a second dental visit after 3 months where it was checked with a torque tool. This was all before having the tooth installed which took another week.
I do all my teeth abroad. In Turkey, I got all the teeth work including implants and bone grafting which cost me 5 to 7 times less than it would cost me in the US. That $600 back and forth ticket will pay for itself and your entire vacation. Trust me!

Simply a life saver right there once you lose all your teeth you simply lose so much of a will to wanna live depressions from not being able to eat talk without spiting occasionly and just smiling / laughing u tend to stop laughing to hide ur mouth with ur hand and so much more I lost my teeth young and havent been the same he gives ppl hope and teaches about so much now dentist are offering all on 4 in FL. Idk how many people this is going to effect, probably not many on RUclips but those of you who live in Kentucky and has the Humana Medicaid through the state, as of January 1st 2023 the free insurance through the state pays for den implants now, the hole procedure. I so wish we could afford these. I have battled with cancer and teeth loss decay for so many years. Yet. Never could get all on four. I have a denture on top so far and it moves when I eat and I can’t bite anything even a pill in half for pain at this point. Sucks so much I wanna cry.

Ive virtually been unable to smile since my mid 20,s and having lots of dental/teeth problems - i am now 55............for 30 years i have been the shell of the person i should be but loosing my teeth dented my confidence big time and ive sort-off hid myself away due to being self conscious every time i meet someone or look in the mirror.....Some days i feel so ashamed......Im in the UK and we have an NHS for dental treatment but the max it covers is plastic dentures which are awful things to have in your mouth - so much so that i wont wear them...........The cost of private dental work such as implants is astronomical and my only hope of ever having these would be if i had a small windfall on the national lottery........It would seriously be the first and only thing id want to change about myself.
I know it is very hard to put yourself out there when you feel less than the person you want to be. I do like the quick fix in one day... but my concern with this sort of procedure is the healing process... having teeth abstracted especially if your teeth are had it would account for afew removed ... I can barely handle one tooth removed ad takes a couple of days to heal. Would it not be better to have the teeth removed allow for healing and ensure no infection may occur?

We are able to remove the teeth placed implants on the same surgery. It saves the patient through going through two surgeries. As well as treatment is quicker.
That's the truth when u feel better and r 100% more confident ie will go out n be to the best person they can be there sad part is most ppl lose our break teeth due to pregnancy or an accident sometimes it's just hereditary for them to have bad teeth. I broke a tooth when I was 17 due to an accident they crowned it that was like 17yrs ago it's so white now compared to the rest of my teeth it pulls ppld eyes straight to it because back then me teeth were white 😭 then another tooth broke during pregnancy the tooth right next to my big tooth that broke in high school 🙄they ended up having to pull that 1 😭n from there it was like the domino affect the teeth around it just deteriorated, so now I have a lot of crowns and I have to wear a flipper but nobody outside my immediate family knows I wear a flipper I don't smile anymore I don't have the confidence to be myself or the person I want to be or the person I was the moon I feel myself coming out I realize I'm Soo smiling & I go back in my shell I don't go out n do the things I use to like hanging out with friends I've been single since it happened because even eventually I have to tell them it's sad n embarrassing. Yesterday I paid $1500 for a bridge but I'm terrified it won't come out ok I wish I could afford implants if have more confidence to be the person I am. We are capable of moving mountains but unfortunately when it missing teeth or like me have a flipper n a discolored tooth u miss it on allot n it causes u to hide yourself away imagining what u could do or be if u only had your smile back.

As a 27 year old that literally dont have molars (they pieces i have left cause ive lost most), that meet. Like i have something in the bottom row but not on top and vice versa.....one of my front tooth just cracked in the back and i have to make a big effort everyday to not kill myself.....i sometimes think i might be able to maybe pay for it like if my parents got a loan and i paid it off cause thankfully i have a pretty good job...but mostly just realize how naive that is....hopefully i can fix my teeth soon because im already at rock bottom and everyday i find more reasons to just end it and lift the burden and shame i bring my family. My parents both basically said theyd practically disown me.

How do treat (implant) patients that are on blood thinners o minimize bleeding.
Very good question Philip! We work with your medical doctor. They were usually have us have you stop medication before the surgery, and end for a few days afterwards.
So what if someone has a reaction ro the implant, what if the person or gums reject the implant, wouldn't it be easier to just do 1 and wait a month, then put the other 3.
Would you mean by rejection, if an impalnt fails? This would prolong the treatment if they choose to do single implants at different times. If a person wants to wait, they can, but most patients who are in good health wouldn't need to worry about that. This is why we insist on full medical release before we agree to the surgery. @@implantsecrets the reason I asked, is I am very sensitive to quemicals and metals in my mouth, I just had 6 teeth pulled 3 top molars and 3 bottom and my mouth was so swollen for almost 2 weeks, so I can only imagine what implants would do, it's very nice that you have a waiver, but the risk is mine, so I would like to find a dentist who is more aware of this risk

If it was affordable and local that would be nice. Most regular dentists can't or won't maintain the teeth if they are the kind that needs removed and cleaned every 6 months.
The dentists need to have specialized tools to maintain and remove them.

I live in Florida this dentist wanted 13k for 4 implants 2 upper 2 lower and to attach my current dentures. I said thanks but no thanks. Went to Colombia had implants done for 700$ each 4 implants lower and upper so it worked out that I saved a ton of money I got extra implants and found an amazing fun country. My trip was for 10 days I stayed 3 months and still had plenty of saving compared to the 13k price tag.
Sounds like you made the right decision for you. Make sure you request a copy of the record with implant brand, sizes, prosthetic connection types and specific screws and tools needed to maintain them. So often patients get a great deal but return to United States and struggle to find A dentist or hygienist they can properly do the maintenance… This leads to delayed maintenance and more expensive repairs/IMPLANT failures in extreme cases

What happens if you do nothing? I've had a missing tooth on the left side of my mouth, but nothing bad has happened thank Yahweh, & it's been 14 years now. Recently had bone grating done where the last tooth on bottom right (all the way in the back was removed). My dentist has talked to me about getting an implant in the bone grafting area, but again I may consider avoiding it for the bottom as well.

As long as your A1C is under a 7, and is under control they should be able to have implants. The healing is a lot slower.
I just looked and didn't see your email but anyway I asked a daughter in calgary Alberta what the price was there for the all on 4. She said $20,000.00. How close is it to your cost? The canadian dollar is always less?
I know that is the first question everyone asks. Most patients want the lowest cost, but there is a lot more to it than just throwing out a price. What type of material? Titanium, Zirconia? Acrylic? What kind of implants? Standard? Zygoma? Pterygoid? How specialized is the surgery? Sinus augmentation? Bone grafting? I don't give pricing out unless I see the patients CT scan. I would love to meet you Alice, but I can't answer that. $20,000 would be good price for the least expensive device.

Although this procedure helps many people and YES it is very costly , no one ever mentions that it prevent one to properly enunciate. You can very easily whistle when you talk. It can very easily be recognized that you have something preventing your tongue from working properly. One also loses a sense of taste. Keep this in mind before you are encouraged to start extracting all your teeth. I did and regrets. Thank you😢

In USA same treatment can cost you between 30000 and 40000 usd dolars... It s something crazy... I m Colombian so I did a dental treatment with implants in my country because here prices didn t permit me to do it....

I think dental implants should be mandatory because it's a fact that they will outlive their teeth and no reason to do a temporary repair that can fail and cause more pain later.
Hey doc my concern is that my doctor told me that i do not have bone on lower side of teeth because my 4 teeth are missing from bottom and 2 from top side so they told me maybe your implant is not possible so what can i do ??
I've had an implant for just over 10 years and keep having all these mystery illnesses, turns out I'm sick because of this implant. It's a foreign body and it constantly triggering immune system reactions
What type of implant? I keep hearing zicornia is better than titanium and almost all dentists use titanium except for a handful of holistic dentists. It seems many people have issues with the metal implants. But zircornia is still fairly new I believe. So the longest review I saw was 6 years but it did not give patient testimony on their experience. Just a brief video showing the area healed and still looking clean over the years with no maintence needed.
Titanium is the material that most implants are made of. Usually when they talk about Zirconium, its the material that the denture is made out of. You can have zirconia “Implants”, if you special order them. Not too many Dr. Have them on hand. Titanium is the one most commonly used.

I am going with Zurconian over Titanium because theirs no heavy metal toxicity & no periodontal pocketing plus they're more excepting in the integration process into the jaw bone.

@@implantsecrets I live in Boston. I had a periodontist issue but it's gone because I have missing teeth. Left side is there, right side is gone and bottom jaw is full! I do not work right now currently receiving disability with knee surgery coming up next month. I can't afford implants right now. However I am going to look towards putting money to the side and do my best. I am a mom of 4 children, two grand boys and always on my feet! I always did very nice things for people events, babyshowers, birthdays etc before I got to this point in my life! I do not want to go out as much because I cannot smile the way I want too.
How badly I wish I could get this done to my teeth... Tooth pain well there just ain't nothing like it.... It keeps me up at night the infection from abscess or my teeth rotting has caused my tonsils to swell to the point where I can barely breathe or swallow my spit... I have always had terrible teeth since I was young... My dentist literally told me I have bad genetics thank you memme... I have had so much work done on my mouth from fillings to root canals to crowns now the teeth around my crowns are rotting it scares me half to death when I think about my teeth rotting out of my head and the pain I would cry now just thinking about it.... How do you go about starting the process and do y'all do payment plans???

$20-$25,000....as these look permanent ..I know less if snap in dentures..going through it all right now..however..had 4 Implants..upper mouth..all teeth pulled.
Trouble is I got an infection in the 2 front implants.,now it sounds like I don’t have enough bone growing around implants..cost already is $9,000..My dentist has not seen this happen so she’s sending me to. The Ortho Dentist that is the Head Dentist of the Dental place I go to...Who knows..not good news at all!
I had the embutmens (sp) done last month..I was waiting for it to heal...well..finally infection is gone..but bone around the two front implants is not enough..looks like Grafting ..which I can’t figure out why..this wasn’t done at the time implants were put in..last year🤨 as I have Bone loss🤯
All my $$$ c@n end up gone..and I may have to have a regular denture 😢😢😢
