I cannot believe how much this has helped me with my lower back pain; over the past 10 years, I have seen the chiropractor, the osteopath, the physiotherapist and the acupuncturist to no avail, and following this video once I immediately felt the difference.. I feel like I’m getting my life back. Thank you ❤
Katie's workout is amazing for lower back pain. I have scoliosis, so I'm constantly dealing with back pain of all kinds. I also work out quite a bit. I aim to do this routine for preventative reasons a few times a week, but that's not always the case. The second my lower back starts to hurt, or my hips and hamstrings start to feel tight, I do this routine, and it relieves the pain/low back pressure almost right away.
Katie explains each exercise thoroughly so I can be sure I’m doing everything correctly, without rushing or my feeling like I’m being patronised by a professional. She has a kind and happy demeanour which really is the icing on the cake to her professionalism. Thoroughly recommended and useful video! Thanks!
This workout video is fantastic!! It’s the same moves my physical therapist doctor showed me- who took 3 months to get an appointment with! This is SO valuable that she made a video. I’m eternally grateful as these are exercises for the rest of our lives.
Katie this pilates has literally for me through a year of back pain. I had two bulging discs, I do this workout everyday and it's amazing. Thank you so much
Hello. I want to thank you for this video. I had a back injury at work in fall 2019 and my lower back has never been the same. I did get physical therapy and I'm currently seeing a chiropractor for over a year now for maintenance. I'm almost 53 and this has been hard for me mentally and physically especially with a 2 year old granddaughter. I did subscribe today after watching and participating with this video. I look forward to more videos on this channel.
I have had severe lower back pain for about 2 weeks now and have been doing all sorts of exercises to help including walking and strength building. (I am overweight and don't have much muscle) they have helped so far but my healing has slowed down, I tried this today and feel relief already. I am not painless but I have a feeling if I keep doing this I might be soon ❤️ thank you for the video
This is a REALLY nice, subtle low-back pain work out....Katie explains things so well-it seems to really be helping my low back pain! Thanks for your great work Katie!!
Definitely help with my back pain and prompted me to take 3 in person 1:1 Pilates classes. Katie thank you because what you do in this video is what 1:1 instructor did with me plus a bit more. You are right on with this video
Just stumbled onto this exercise class! I found it perfect for me to start my morning exercise routine with this stretch routine first and then I do a Pilates class! I’m in physical therapy right now and found this exercise to be very effective and gentle as a preclude to any other exercise. I can hardly walk after waking up in the morning, as my muscles are so tight especially the sciatic nerve! Thank you so much!
This really helped thank you so much, I loved your way of explaining everything. The only reason I’ve not subscribed for more are the adverts - I personally found them to be very distracting while trying to relax and focus in on the exercises.
This was seriously so amazing. I’m 18 but have some bad lower back pain and this really helped relieve some tension. Your voice is so calming and it was the perfect speed for me. Nothing hurt my lower back and you explained everything perfectly. Thank you!
First time for me this morning Katie, hoping this will help my lower back pain. Great video, very informative as we progressed through, made it easy to know if you were performing the movements correctly, many thanks ......
I've just started with one video having trawled through the web over the last few months of Covid. Most leave me feeling inadequate or that I'm just not getting something right. I'm not a complete beginner but I feel like one. This video has been my best find so far....everything so well explained, breathing, positioning etc. Also telling me when it shouldn't hurt and how to sit if crossed legs are a no-go. (I've never in my life been able to sit cross-legged easily). Looking forward to moving forward with Katie....
Thank you! I’ve been doing this for my lower back, but I’m finding it also helps improve my plantar fascia pain. I appreciate the pace and focus of this video.
This was a really therapeutic work out for my lower back? It is short enough that I can do every day just for maintenance thank you so much and God bless you!
Thank you for this I my self isolation I had spinal surgery in 2009 and I am pretty sure I have hyper mobility I can’t always afford a 1 to 1 class to thanks Katie x
thanks Katie @eFit30. great video. will do my pilates with this vid now that i can't attend gym. i wish it was a bit longer. i'll search and see if you have any longer workouts . thanks heaps Katie
Really helped my sciatica pain . I have 3 slipped discs and 4th one is not in a good position , this’s all thanks to me smoking for years till I quit 6 years ago but damaged had been done made my discs dehydrated. :🥺
Thankyou Katie! This video was great. You explain so well. I have two bulging disks with sciatica that led to muscle wasting in my leg. I could do every move without feeling uncomfortable. And my low back feels like the compression is eased off a little for now. 💜 Will definitely repeat tomorrow and checkout more videos 👏
I have chronic backpain and have had for 15 years, this was all pretty hard for me but I’m not surprised cause I realise how unfit I am, but it was achievable and did help, what I really struggled with was the crunches, my feet keep wanting to lift up, I think I was born without core muscles, 😂🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I have had this issue my whole life, even when I was young and fit!
It's difficult to know, without a proper medical opinion. Do you have a medical professional that you can show the exercise to? This would be your best option. We have 300 videos so perhaps get your doctor to look at a few of them for you. Kind Regards eFit30
Hi Catie, have been doing this lower back workout for some time and it has worked wonders on the stability of my lower back. Do you have a suggestion as to a video that I can move onto?
I exercise regularly but I still have dull constang back pain, discs are ok. I hope this will help, the exercises are quite easy to do and 15 mins is not that much to take out of your day. Thank you!
Thank you so much!! My back furt becouse I drag my baby all the time and I found out, thank to this video, how bad my body posture is, so I have a lot of work to do :D but I enjoyed this and I know how to fix it, so again thank you!
Thank you for this! I recently found out that I have a pinched disk and have not really be able to do any exercises. I was actually on here Monday and did a search for Pilates exercises that are suitable for people with bad backs. How many times would you reccommend that I can do this a week and any of your other videos you would recommend?
My son had spine surgery on his L4/5 Sept 2019 he has now been advised his L3/4 is bulging slightly onto his spinal cord. neurologist wont do anything surgical on him but advised he needs to strengthen his muscles using pilates ideally. So I'm wondering would this video be a suitable pilates workout for him? Thanks in advance
Just do what you can do. Just do what feels right. You will work up to it. Pilates is the only thing that got me back to normal after 20 years of Wildland Firefighting and 4 slipped discs. Just take it slow. Start with 5 minutes and see how you feel.
@@heddigambale2197 thank you. He tried it yesterday couldnt get over his limited movement in his hips... but he had no pain and says he could feel his muscles working.
@@Tina-marie He can do it. Don't give up. After my hip replacement I had to start all over again with Hundreds and Roll-ups. My ROM will never be the same, but I just do what I can do.
Are these exercises safe for lower back stenosis? I have S1 and 4-5 stenosis. I've gained 50 pounds due to inability to walk for even short walks. Does anyone with similar back issues do these exercises? I have to find a way to get in shape since most of my weigh gain is in my stomach, but I fear making my pain worse. 😢
This workout has helped my sciatica so much. I've done the workout countless times by now and recommend it to anyone who needs some lower back PT.

This workout was amazing for my lower back pain & the gentleness of Katie voice while explaining the exercises really helps not feel rushed at all 👏🏾
My 73 year old body enjoyed this gentle class.🫶🏻
One of the few that knows what they are talking about when it comes to back pain
I have been looking for a gentle approach. This is it. Love her calming voice.
Katie explains each exercise thoroughly so I can be sure I’m doing everything correctly, without rushing or my feeling like I’m being patronised by a professional. She has a kind and happy demeanour which really is the icing on the cake to her professionalism. Thoroughly recommended and useful video! Thanks!

very nice workout.. thank you very much ..
This is good. Helping with "lockdown back" caused by too much sitting and a closed swimming pool.

Hi Catie, have been doing this lower back workout for some time and it has worked wonders on the stability of my lower back. Do you have a suggestion as to a video that I can move onto?
Thank you, I have lower back problems and my gluts are very thighs, I really needed to work on them and most importantly stretch them
It would be great if you could do a longer video, also focusing on lower back pain (lumbar scoliosis-right and spondylosis).

Great video thanks.
Although i did find it a little difficult to fully relax with 3 torture tables in the background.
