Sachin the master Virat is just good look at sachin shots he has beautiful straight drive square cut flik shots and sweep shots slog sweep paddle sweep late fine sweep and to top of sachin is a handy part time bowler Virat is nothing in front of sachin he can't properly square cut nor sweep nor be a part time bowler.
Kohli can only dream to play like Tendulkar... Tendulkar had all round strokeplay... Kohli doesn't have any backfoot shots through the offside for fast bowlers & any type of sweep shot for spinners... He should be happy that he's achieved this much with his limited abilities...
It was so heartbreaking to watch him bog down to injuries and extreme expectations, sometimes it felt like crying to see the GOD having to struggle so much. This double century was a thumping the chest moment for me growing up as a teenager.
There is nothing fascinating in this world than watching Sachin's batting. What a great knock it was. Such a spectacular player with an awesome attitude. Huge respect sir.. Incredible player 👏 🙌
@ptshrm you don't know what your talking about.. the toughest thing to control is your reflexes.. Like when u drop ur phone or about to fall down.. The fact that he did it between a series with very less practice shows his mastery.. Takes a lot of practice and mental strength.. But you are entitled to have your say!!
If T20 players don't play shots how will the team score runs. T20 isn't about defending. And yea if u talk about tests Steve Smith did it in against NZ. He was getting caught on the pull in the first test. Then he didn't play it.
@ptshrm That tactic can be only applied by NZ because they have Wagner. No other bowler has that amount of stamina. Jofra Archer bowled 7-8 overs of bouncers and is injured even today. Also the tactic isn't smart. They got their bowlers so tired that the other batsmen just had an easy outing. And hence NZ lost 3-0.
@ptshrm Right that's what the speed gun shows. But I saw Steve was really uncomfortable with Wagner's bouncers while it was not so when Archer was bowling except those 2 hits. Wagner due to his slow pace generates uneven bounce and maybe that's what did him.
@@sohagdas8351 Well, Smith's form was boosted quite well in the Ashes by barraging boos too. He's like India's Virat Kohli in this respect, always punches above his potential in case of a hostile environment, however he doesn't expresses that burning desire superficially.
Not playing a single cover drive, battling enormous mental pressure, the Legend didn't stop at a 100.. He made this innings count against THE BEST team in the world in their own backyard! That is what makes someone a Legend, a true champion..
When ever i feel depressed... i watch this innings .....u can also get success in life with limited abilities n limited resources also, if u plan smartly... i learnt a great lession from this Gem ...sachin shud have batted bit fast to reach 300 runs .. missed a great opportunity.
The beauty of this innings was his sheer determination to not play outside the off stump - he had got out playing cover drive in first 3 test matches of this series and was struggling for runs. He scored majority of his runs on leg side in this innings. Unbelievable self control ! Which is why my generation believes he is best of the best.
Post 2001, Sachin was under incredible pressure to perform in tests. Because Rahul and Laxman were overshadowing him. His own form was declining and he started to doubt himself. In this series too he was under tremendous presure as he hadnt scored much in the previous games. Thus he resolved to play like this and not risk loosing his wicket.
a phenomenon... tears everytime i watch him play.. then and two decades later... now.. hearty thanks to CA for posting these amazing videos... appreciate it.
Agreed.kohli should learn from this innings.he should not attempt cover drive in his first 30-40 balls.after this he is really tough to get out.sachin was master.
What an incredible inning. Sachin was getting out while off driving in previous test matches and then he improvised this inning. 248 not out and can you believe it- not a single off drive. What a player 🙌❤️
An innings that teaches us, the mortals, what determination is, how to address a lean phase, how to be mentally strong. Thanks Sachin for these important lessons of life. Thank you.
I remember this series he has not scored even 50 before this, media smashed him like anything, under those pressure he came back with bat and replied every one. During all the days i ve never seen him out of form, his dedication to the cricket is unbelievable.
Now thats the innings he played under immense pressure ..those who were following sachin and cricket that time knew it very well he was struggling from form and injuries and he eventually left playing with the heavy bat due to tennis elbow .. this is one of his great innings against one of the greatest Australian team... maan those were the days when cricket was emotion
Sachin tendulkar taught the entire nation! Where there is a will there is a way! He carried entire nations HOPE on his shoulders! True ambassador of india!
Sachin had the ability to change his stance, his approach, his shot selection etc according to conditions. Swing, seam, bounce or spin, the man adjusted beautifully to whatever was thrown at him. Even when injuries struck and he couldn't bat like he used to in his prime, he relied a bit more on some of his unorthodox shots like the paddle sweep and the upper cut, resulting in brisk scoring like before but in a different manner. His adaptability was the reason behind his longevity. This innings in particular stands out as the best example of it cuz the mental strength to curb your natural instincts is beyond the capabilities of mere mortals. A pure masterclass.
The most satisfying part was when Bucknor snapped off the bails at the end... can't be anything happier for a batsman than making a double century not out!
Inning which is not flamboyant but still a masterclass for his determination and adapting to overcome his weakness. It's a brilliant display of tactic!!

"I had a plan and I am happy that I could execute it well".. those 613 minutes say why he is called master among cricket legends.
And Kohli getting out chasing 4th or 5th stump deliveries over and over AGAIN. Sachin is simply incomparable
The era of Sachin , love to see those crowd and how they appreciated ..the way they cheered..when I see this video I feel 'wo v kya din tha jaha tv par Sachin batting krta tha..😊❣️
Actually Two Men had double century's at SCG that day
1. Sachin Tendulkar
2. BRETT Lee( 7:57 )
Thanks For Liking
SCG
😂 😂 😂
You too now....
I never forget this series: When I studied a 7 th standard, daily we saw an world map especially Australia Map because of MCG SCG and Sydney those days we don't have Android and we heared a score from radio also I will wake up at morning 4 am because match will start 9 am (Australian time) really unforgettable series.
Thought I only did this. Thanks for sharing
Yes radio was our internet at the time 😅
Sachin nd his best love from waqar Hussain from Durban south Africa.
Sachin Tendulkar-My All time favourite Batsman to watch and Learn all the Techniques about Batting!!!!!!!!!!!Beautiful Player to watch on the Cricket field!!!!!!!!Genius !!!!!!!!!!
The Master..
Greatest of all time..
Hats off to thee..
Aye.. lots of respect and love..
You're living god of cricket.
Mark me words.
This will never ever get old. The standing ovation from the Aussie crowd is not something everyone gets. MASTERclass. ♥️
Cover Drive is an obvious shot for a batsman like his class....🙄
And He even didn't try to commit that shot.....🤫😌
Realising mistakes makes you God from a man 👏👏👏👏👏
God doesn't do mistakes dude
@@neerajkollipara141 No...
God doesn't repeat mistake 😌
@@saurabhgautam6568 bro... God doesn't do at all then there's no case of repeating
@@saurabhgautam6568 god never makes mistakes in the first place. Forget about repeating. Sachin ain't god no human is god. 🤧
God do make mistakes
The lord indra made a mistake by hurling vajta on hanuman
The lord shiva did mistake by hurling trishool on surya
Lord vishnu did mistake in the form lord ram when he left pious pure sita only because his subjects badmouthed her because she was in lanka
Lord krishna also made many mistakes but he apologized to his mother when he committed
Lord brahma as well did mistakes when he blesses numerous demons with boons which were fatal to mankind
Moral:-every god committed mistake but this is not what that made them god but to fight evil ,injustice and support good and justice made them god
Man, the respect OUR Sachin commanded makes me feel emotional even now in June 2020
❤️
Kyun june mein respect nahi milta kya??
As a huge virat fan, and his current issues with not being able to leave the ball outside off in 2021, i hope he does something like this! What a knock little master!
Virat should take some advice from this man to conquer his current crisis ,
Hope he will come back soon
Kohli dosen't have patience
he can't play this kind of innings without playing cover drive
@@ninadchandekar9660 virat only have few shots sachin had a lot of that
Sachin the master Virat is just good look at sachin shots he has beautiful straight drive square cut flik shots and sweep shots slog sweep paddle sweep late fine sweep and to top of sachin is a handy part time bowler Virat is nothing in front of sachin he can't properly square cut nor sweep nor be a part time bowler.
Kohli can only dream to play like Tendulkar... Tendulkar had all round strokeplay... Kohli doesn't have any backfoot shots through the offside for fast bowlers & any type of sweep shot for spinners... He should be happy that he's achieved this much with his limited abilities...
Classic strokes. He makes it looks so easy. Don’t think anyone can come close to his class. Pure poetry
It was so heartbreaking to watch him bog down to injuries and extreme expectations, sometimes it felt like crying to see the GOD having to struggle so much. This double century was a thumping the chest moment for me growing up as a teenager.
He never played a single cover drive in this innings.
That's shows his discipline.
Master🔥..
@user-qf5gu9ov7rits pesions level sachin vs aussy
@user-qf5gu9ov7rearlier in that series sachin out due to play cover drives
The most controlled test innings ❤️❤️🙏🙏 God for a reason ❤️❤️
S.. Sixes or fours or singles
A.. All shots are blessed to be
C.. Crafted through
H.. His bat
I.. Incredibly outstanding
N.. No words.. At all
First Reply, very well said my friend. A true legend he was
There is nothing fascinating in this world than watching Sachin's batting. What a great knock it was. Such a spectacular player with an awesome attitude. Huge respect sir.. Incredible player 👏 🙌
Buknor must be feeling helpless😂
😅😅😅😆😆 all time legend umpire
Trying not to play a shot which u mastered... That's patience man.. Today's t20 players can't do that
@ptshrm you don't know what your talking about.. the toughest thing to control is your reflexes..
7:57 *That's brings up the 200 for bret Lee...Lmao* 😂😂
lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😋😋
😀😀😀😅😅😆😆😆
Imagine running all day bowling at 140k's and conceding 200runs.
55 sr is slow for u
Always love sachin Tendulkar great cricketer and great human also thank you for entertain us
The beauty of this innings was his sheer determination to not play outside the off stump - he had got out playing cover drive in first 3 test matches of this series and was struggling for runs.
So elegant... Every shot played .. so graceful.. picture perfect..
a phenomenon... tears everytime i watch him play.. then and two decades later... now.. hearty thanks to CA for posting these amazing videos... appreciate it.
The drives, the cuts, the pulls, the punches and the flicks.. all made our budding years memorable..! Thank you Master Blaster..❤️
Man the best comment I have seen so far
Thank you AUS
For making my day in lockdown this glorious inning of legend Sir Sachin Tendulkar 🇮🇳🙏🏻
The innings without a single cover drive being played❤️❤️...only the god can do this...proud to be a indian
Isn't Sachin's batting a treat for eyes !!! It's beautiful....
Was waiting for this innings with channel 9 commentary for a long time and now i got it.
The maestro restricted himself from playing cover drives during the entire innings...what dedication. 🙏
1:37...He got an outside edge onto that one but still was in control...That's Tendulkar for you
An innings that teaches us, the mortals, what determination is, how to address a lean phase, how to be mentally strong. Thanks Sachin for these important lessons of life. Thank you.
Not even a single cover drive😮😮😮😮😮
I need this kind of mental strenght and patience in my life.
take a bow little master
He owned the standing ovation and the respect of audiance ,,He ruled every Arena around the globe...
THE GREAT "NO COVER DRIVE " INNINGS !!
2:41 is the rarest and greatest moment in sports commentating history.
Rhyan O'Neill well spotted👍🏻
😂😂😂😂
I dont see it
What?
3 for 222 means 3 runs and 222 wickets
He has scored this 100 at the age of 30... And completed 9000 as well It means he scored 6000 runs after 30 ❤️..👍 what a player
7000 runs after 30....
Not six bro he scored almost 7k runs and 21 100s after 30..
I remember this series he has not scored even 50 before this, media smashed him like anything, under those pressure he came back with bat and replied every one. During all the days i ve never seen him out of form, his dedication to the cricket is unbelievable.
All credits to Sachin, but one can not forget the contribution of Laxman... Underrated legend
Amazing innings against the best team at that time.. played with so ease. Master blaster for a reason 🙌
Sachin tendulkar taught the entire nation! Where there is a will there is a way! He carried entire nations HOPE on his shoulders! True ambassador of india!
Just see the amount of respect the Australians had for him. Ah its a treat to watch.
Sachin and SCG is always a fairy tale💕
Sachin is full package of nostalgic straight drive❤️❤️
One of the finest knocks by legendary Sachin Tendulkar!
Virat Kohli must learn from this video. This innings is known for Sachin's discipline, patience and play without any ego.
Sachin is the G.O.A.T for a reason
Such complete batsman, no weakness at all hence he is treat to the eyes🙏🙏🙏
Today's cricket missing the iconic staright drive by Indian trident...Sachin dravid and sehwag
almost every boundaries on leg side! the amount of control!
Brett Lee congratulating Sachin once after the 200 and then at the end just makes my day everytime
All the batsmanship in the world is one side and this innings is far ahead of them...all of them ! True master
The respect and admiration at the end of it all by everyone on the ground, shows why he is the best ever of his generation and beyond.
A lesson for life for everyone! Sheer grit, determination, class....by Sachin. Lots to learn for everyone from this
No one play's like a Sachin...what a player 🔥🔥🔥
After reading his autobiography I came to know that he played most of the matches managing an injury. I was surprised by his determination.
Perfect inning by God of batting sachin ramesh Tendulkar a true gentleman
This inning itself a text book for today's generation Top3 batsman
His Centuries in 2008 were full of confidence..Played shots all around the ground..
The man who could instantly cure 1.2 billion depressed folks!! 💯💯
I have tears on my eyes rigt now.... can't describe what I am feeling....
Inning which is not flamboyant but still a masterclass for his determination and adapting to overcome his weakness. It's a brilliant display of tactic!!
