    IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
Hey everyone! Hope you enjoy this conversation with a brilliant lawyer with amazing insight from the courtroom!
Please remember: none of these comments are of a predictive nature! We are simply commenting on behaviors and what they COULD mean/ are likely to mean. But there are 3 major reasons this does not allow us to predict the outcome of the trial.
    1) we’re analyzing key moments. These isolated moments do not necessarily reflect the overall opinion. Remember, this is a defamation trial, they don’t have to believe Johnny hit her everytime she says he did, they only have to believe he hit her once.
    2) averting eye contact and turning away can be a sign of disbelief but it can also be a sign of discomfort, so it can very well be they are buying her story and are just really uncomfortable looking at her tell it.
    3) they don’t all have to believe her. It’s possible for just a few to believe her and persuade the others.
Neither Rob nor I claim to know what the verdict will be nor do we claim to know the details of what happened between Johnny and Amber during every altercation. We’re just pointing out behavior patterns. That’s all.
    This can go either way.
    Thanks for watching 🤗

Theory: she favours D & E because they're female, yes. But also because, since they're wearing masks, she can't read their faces. And she takes this blankness as a positive. Instead of rightly thinking "hm, I don't know how they feel about me," she ASSUMES they're smiling at her and pouting when she "cries." She's a narc, so her assumption that people like/love her is just part of her everyday routine.

@People Person I'm so sorry to hear that. Honestly, I did get lucky. I'd been to court with him a few times. He had the money, I didn't so taking me to court was a good way to start creating a paper trail (we have a kid together so that's why we had to go so much. I just wanted to be left alone). The first lawyer in the last case I got left me out to dry, but thankfully she was able to represent me for the remainder.
I hope you don't have to go through that again... Some people don't realize how terrifying it is to be up there, being grilled like that, even when you're telling the truth... You go blank. You panic. I can remember my kid's dad making those same smirks as amber. Faking those same tears on the stand. It's infuriating, but you also feel powerless. Especially if that person has the power to convince everyone else that they are right and you are wrong ..
I know my response is long. I'm sorry. I only say it to show that even though I was lucky with my lawyer, I didn't always have that support so I do empathize with your experience

Those photos that Amber insisted on taking of Johnny when she claimed he was " passed out " from drugs or alcohol ( but actually he could have been passed out from exhaustion from working all day on a movie & then having to deal with her), but even if he was " passed out " from substance abuse, these photos do NOT make him look like the drug & alcohol crazed " monster " she was hoping. Instead in these photos , Johhny looks so vulnerable & all I feel is sadness that someone who was supposed to love him so much, took photos of him in such vulnerable postions.

I’ve sat on two juries, the last as forewoman. Neither defendant looked at the jury box much. But when they DID, I didn’t like it whatsoever! As far as I’m concerned, jury members are witnesses in and of themselves. We’re there for the evidence, to parse the credibility of witnesses, to - hopefully - use critical thinking skills to come to the right decision. If I could say something to a defendant, it would be, “Don’t look at me. Don’t try to make eye contact with me. You’re not my friend. We aren’t here to ‘bond.’ Your looking at me feels inappropriate & manipulative, which isn’t exactly good for your case. When you’re on the stand, keep your eyes on the person with whom you’re interfacing. We the jury need to be dispassionate. So . . . STOP LOOKING AT ME!”

One thing I find VERY telling after watching a lot of her testimony is she chooses to be emotional when she talks about Johnny accusing her of lying. She doesn't choose to get emotional when she talks about abuse. Not only are we missing typical emotional cues for someone recalling a painful memory, but when she chooses to appear emotional seems very telling.
When her reputation is being questioned she chooses to be emotional. Her reputation, how people perceive her is the most important thing.

I thought that it was tactical move from their part to have Camille question Amber Heard.
JD's team is full of different people, men, women, of different ages.
They couldn't put a man in charge of cross examining Amber. They had to ask really invasive and personal questions, it would look bad if man grilled her about her SA story.
They could've brought in little bit older or just softer woman. like Elaine, who Amber clearly trusts. But I don't think soft approach would work with Amber.
Instead they bring Camille, who is young and beautiful and clearly close with Johnny. Amber sees Camille as her equal, or maybe even someone who is a bit intimidating to her. If Amber truly is bipolar or even a bit narcissistic, they can't handle someone being smarter or prettier or better liked than them. They will unravel.
I noticed when they questioned Whitney, Amber's sister, new female lawyer did the cross examination, she was really friendly and sweet and only asked her few simple questions. Later I started wondering if Johnny asked them to do this; Johnny knew that Whitney is Amber's victim just as much as he is, I believe JD still feels for her and wants to protect her.
My theory is that JD's legal team could have really grilled Whitney about the stair incident, but Johnny stopped it.
But these are just my thoughts and opinions, I don't know these people, who the hell knows what really happens between people behind closed doors 🤷‍♀️

One of the most concerning things about Amber's testimony was after playing the audio of her telling Johnny that she had not punched him, and she didn't know the position of her hand but she was sorry that it wasn't a proper slap, and that it did not hurt and he was not hurt! In that audio you could hear her literally gaslighting him by telling him that what he had experienced he didn't experience and that the pain that he had felt he had not felt. When Camille was questioning her about this she literally tried to Gaslight the jury into believing that what she had said she had not said. At that point, for me, she became completely unbelievable as a witness.

But perhaps like many other celebrities they go to rehab and come forward and announce they are now healed.
Mental illness is a real problem and it's in the Forefront in America right now. She could actually turn around and be a great spokesperson for mental illness at the end of all this. Exactly. The difficulty is that they need to watch her, to determine if she's telling the truth. But how can you, when she is staring at you? Even when she is not speaking, she does it. When the lawyers approach the judge, is the worst time. She scans them constantly, looks away, then does it again & again. They must feel so uncomfortable. She even smiles at one of them occasionally, so she is definitely trying to connect with them & it shouldn't be allowed.

That's one of the many reasons this case throws me off. She testifies that she produced every record and photograph, that allegdly proof all of the physical abuse.
And yet, not one of those "many" were officially submitted to the jury.
Sure, some were, but according to her testimony it should have been a shitton more. And the ones that were shown were, frankly, not really convincing. Like the ones that were submitted to the jury, were either weeks old (allegedly, again) or an exageration of the lighting.
Like, there is nothing about black eyes, broken noses, scars, holes. Nothing that severe. She took photos of everythign related to Depp and his escapades, but she didn't find the time to take photos of her oh so serious injuries after several weeks, or when they were nearly healed? That doesn't sit right to me.
Also the fact that she didn't get medical attention. Sure, for some bruises, you might just choke it up and put some makeup on. For a make-believe string woman and actress, I assume there is something more to her than most other abuse victims, right? But why the hell wouldn't she get treatment for a believed broken nose. An injury that couldn't even be captured hours later on a gala meeting by paparazzi? No shot.
I can believe that she probably got hit by stuff (be it herself or really JD). And maybe (!) JD DID hit her once or twice. But to the extreme extent she blows this story up? No way in hell this happened.

When I was getting ready to testify in federal court my attorney did NO prep with me ahead of time. On the day I testified my attorney went like this “Miss KELLEY do you remember January 9 1998? I said yes and he said “tell the jury what happened beginning from that night. Then my attorney just stood there and I began telling my story of years of stalking and abuse. Watching this I realized some things. I don’t remember actually looking at the jurors. I simply remember staring straight ahead and for two days I told every single event. Truth is I couldn’t look at the jury while I was testifying to horrific events my family and I endured. I was embarrassed to have to tell people “yup this was our life daily for years “ cause who lives through constant harassment and stalking. I’d love to know what spidey and Dave would think of my testimony on the stand. I guess it went ok. My attorney Leonard Kesten won Lawyer Of The Year for my case. But she "could never hurt him". This is guilty, minimizing language.

I am an abuse survivor and work with domestic violence victims and one of my roles is to act as a victims advocate in court. I accompany the victim to court for support in their testimony or in some cases I will have to speak on their behalf. And in my over 15 years of attending hundreds of court proceedings, I have never ever seen a real domestic violence victim constantly looking at anyone else let alone a jury in the court room especially, when recounting their abuse stories. They will often look down or their eyes will will not focus on anything if their head is not pointed downwards. They are too traumatized to even be sitting there recounting their abuse stories to let alone look at anyone or want anyone to look at them.
So, as soon as I saw Amber's testimony, it only confirmed for me what I already suspected, Amber Heard is no victim of domestic violence. She is the abuser here. And she is a disgrace to all real domestic violence victims no matter the gender. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp

This trial is going to be studied, for years to come, at and by many law schools; this is huge in terms of how the justice system works and how people’s behavior can break or make a person. I can imagine that psychologists and psychiatrists are having a field day.

@@pookiepookie8669 I thought the same thing. But I also think she may possibility blame her teams incompetence, which they don’t have a lot to work with; either way she is going to claim something if he wins.

Absolutely fascinating discussion and observation. I was intrigued to know how the jury was reacting. Now I know. The photo of Johnny broke me. She wanted to humiliate him. What I felt was sorrow and extreme sadness for him. Lying on the floor in an almost fetal position told me a lot. Also told me a lot about her!!!!!!

What an awesome commentary. When you described Camille Vasquez as JD's shield and sword, a light turned on in my head. There is a Greek saying "Scratch a mother, find a tiger." I have had conversations with gentle women who are shocked at how fierce and unstoppable they can be. In Camille, we see the archetypal mother defending her child, and when we consider that both she and JD are gentle people, and JD's mother failed to provide safety, we see how a strong attachment can form. We also hear the archetypal mother in Camille's scolding of AH, which if she would just listen, is a gift.
*** I see a few people have made my post about God v no-God. I think one of the lessons of this trial has been how abusive it is to silence someone else's voice. So let's listen to each other kindly and allow everyone to have their truth. Let's make the space between us a safe place.

@@rosalainz2165 I love this. Reason is that earlier I was praying to God to protect Johnny because the two most important women in his life failed him. And now I just remembered that God uses PEOPLE, and that's how He's already doing it.

As a 15 year veteran Superiour Courtroom Clerk, I am loving this. Camille is doing great and really getting under Amber's skin. I keep waiting for Amber to break and loose her shit. Amber's performance in court is so telling and so fake. Would love to hear your take on Amber's BS reaction when Johnny was approaching the stand & she backed away like she was so scared. I am a bit suprised that she lets her run on with her answers but at the same time she could be letting her hang herself with her own BS. I have also NEVER seen a witness, especially one who purports to be a victim, look at and play to the jury so much.

AH thinks she's a fantastic actor...I auditioned for that part, I got that part myself. The jury can tell AH is lying and are tired of her fake actions and responses.
