    To clean Nespresso coffee machine at no cost: fill the water tank with natural white vinegar; Then you start pressing the cleaning button; After this process, fill the tank with clean water, then press the cleaning button again. After this process, the warning sign will go off; And your Nespresso coffee machine becomes clean and at a negligible cost. Trust this advice; I've been using it for years.

    I thought I was the only one who was researching what higher learning institution was available for me to decipher these modern ancient looking manuals. I regularly open RUclips, but never thought how important it would be for me to enjoy a simple cup of coffee

      I have to agree with the others, the manual that came with the unit has to be the worst I've ever seen! The symbols were beyond understanding and most of the rest was in a combination of several languages which I don't speak our read.
      Print the material in the language of the county where the unit is purchased.
      Seems simple to me. In the USA the official language is still English in spite of fire hard they try to cram Spanish down our throats!
      Beyond this, I'm pleased with the machine so far. Now that the videos have taught me how to better use this unit, I'm certain my experience will only continue to improve

    My flatmate left here this machine 2 years ago. I have been thinking about cleaning it and start to use. Should I also buy some product for deep cleaning or what do you guys recommend?

      Over time and usage, the hardness of water may cause mineral build up in your machine which can affect the temperature, the flow and overall performance of your machine. Furthermore, mineral build up can also negatively impact the taste of your coffee, often making it more pungent. It's not recommended to use other solutions as Nespresso Descaling kits are specifically designed to work with our machines for the best results.

    I've descaled my Inissia (once every 6 months, so far). Second time I descaled it, today, once all was done, first cup of espresso tasted a bit clinically chemical-ish. Second cup better, but at 5 minutes after two cups, I have an aftertaste of something still. Not sure what all this means.

If considerable mineral has built up in your Inissia, it may be necessary to use the second packet of descaling solution. Alternatively, if you have descaled and still experience an aftertaste, please run through the rinse process with a full tank of clean water until the taste is gone.       Thanks much, the taste was gone by 5th cup and it's perfect again. Will use the second pack, two in a row, if that happens again.

    Haven’t used my machine since a long time, When I turned it on last week the water didn’t want to come out like there’s something stuck in the pipes, any suggestions ??

    At least this made some more sense than the useless instructions. My girlfriend took apart her dad's plastic tray for cleaning. Cue us all standing around it after going "how does this go back together?"
    The obvious answer is check the manual, which we did, "How does this go back together?"

      Hi Celine. We recommend descaling your machine with Nespresso Descaling Solution every 3 months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first, to remove internal mineral deposit that can build up, which can affect the flow, temperature and overall performance of your machine. A weekly cleaning will keep the brew unit clear of grinds and coffee residue.

    I'm experiencing some issues with my Nespresso machine after activating the descaling mode. I'm unable to use the machine properly now, The problem is that both buttons continue to blink simultaneously without stopping, and the espresso button no longer seems to work.

    Hi. The lungo and espresso buttons don't blink alternatively when I press simultaneously for it to enter the emptying mode. Please advice.

    What’s the emptying mode for? To make sure the system is empty so they’re considered clean?

    After couple of years of V60 I want to go back to my Nespresso experience. The problem is that even the water does not flow through my machine (inissia c40), which has not been used for 2 years. The flow ways are blocked apparently! Any expert advice?! Thanks in advance.

    This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

    Hello, I have a krups xn 100 and every time i connected to electricity the machine direct turn to cleaning mode and it does not stop till i plug out the power cable ,thank you in advance

    I just bought my machine about 4 months ago and it just suddenly stopped flowing properly. It now drips espresso VERY slowly, even after descaling twice.

    The emptying cycle for storage does not work... Thanks Nespresso! You press the two buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, then 5 seconds, then 10 seconds, yet nothing works. The lights blink but not alternately and then nothing else happens.
    Again, thanks Nespresso for not even bothering to comment and clear up the confusion. Really makes you want to buy another machine when this one gives up.

    Perhaps you should have made clear that the capsule tray is NOT fixed into the drip tray, therefore users should take them out carefully lest they make a mess as the capsule tray capsizes and fucks up their counter. The video does not clarify this, instead it says you can "easily separate them". Separate them? They're not attached at all! Congratulations on the useless emoticon hieroglyphic manuals, too.

    when will you stop making these machines work like in 1970? add some freaking buttons just to do these things!!! hold buttons for 3 seconds, this flashes quickly, that flashes slowly? bullshit, add some leds!!! After watching this I'll buy something else.
