You can get that alarm/remote start off E-bay for around £8 (from china) got one on mine but the remote start and immobiliser is not used (I don't trust it) immobiliser will probably leave me stranded. Will probably remote start from my pocket and leave my bike ticking over for hours and overheat itself. Seem to not last long either all the pub boards go green with corrosion in the remote fobs
Hyosung - a 125 cc with the weight of a 350 cc, splendid! You didn't mention the Rumi 125 cc V-twins of 1960 - much more attractive and lighter than all these mini-Harleys! Nevertheless, interesting video!
Maybe with a few of them, but I have a 1999 Yamaha Virago 125 and despite looking like a cruiser, the weight is probably closer to an electric bike than it is a 350cc bike 😂 it’s a lovely machine. Very smooth and reliable
For me, the Sachs was on the right track: 15bhp with more torque than a stroker single is a good recipe for a lightweight bike that's just a bike. I'm thinking of the old 125 Superdream aren't I? I'm only surprised the Japanese makers didn't pursue the retro racer look. Would've made more sense than mini Harleys.
Actually they did make a 125 so get your back straight keep in mind they're not available within the US they were only available over in Europe and Asian markets there are many motorcycles that they have made that we cannot get here in the US next time learning to use Google
Having a 125 cc twin myself I agree it's a weird idea, and I would love for it to have 25-30 HP as compared to the 14 it has today. More than that the frame won't be able to deal with. But as compared to a single cylinder bike a twin run so much smoother, meaning a far more comfortable ride. Let's face it, a 125 cc bike is a compromise limited by regulation, not what would make the best bike for a certain budget.
How would you be liking to have one of these bike pass you when your 86 years old and drive a Buick and the bike passes you and your driving your Oldsmobile?
@@kumiblm He's trolling 😅🤣 Either that or is really that stupid 🤦♂️On the other hand, Kymco has a 2 cylinder engine used on a scooter (500cc if i'm not mistaken) that have a dummy cylinder on the opposite direction to balance the 2 other working pistons thus reducing vibrations. 👍

Take any one of those twins apart and show my the Single OverHead Cam. I would seriously enjoy seeing a v-twin anything that has a SINGLE OVERHEAD CAM. LOOOL
I had no idea that there was so many small displacement V-twin bikes available. I wish there was some in the Philippines...
They USED to be available. Not anymore. From 400cc down, they are single cylinder nowadays !!!
Thanks for finding all this cool stuff for us. It's people like you that make the internet shine!!!
I know the kids have to start somewhere, but revving the knutts off them doesn't make them sound any better. 😂
Small bore bikes are usually run that way . I agree when just standing there no need to rev like that .
125's won't go without revs. Especially a 125 twin.
@@redtobertshateshandles True. Literally won't even pull away below 6,000rpm ! Car engines generally don't even reach that at redline
Where are you finding all these bikes ? Certainly not in my part of the world !
Well that’s a first, a remote controlled start on a bike. I must be old.
Lol! Never ever seen or heard of this remote starter!!
you need remote updating of your brain operating system😁😁😁

I wish more smaller bikes would be offered in the USA. I would buy one new with zero miles.

Sachs has the same engine of Yamaha
Good sound for a 125 ccm
first bike: Tiny little engine underwhelming but the growl is badass.
I like the song in the last part of this video.
Pretty cool little bikes
Sach and virago engine are the same
The coolest looking is the little varadero.
I'd love a more in-depth video on those hyosungs with all the specs like v angle and proper top speeds
That Hyosung looks pretty friggen cool!
And extremely heavy for a 125!
I think its the same frame as their 650.
@@joepkortekaas8813 Doesn't look like it hinders the performance much. Probably the Fastest of the lot.
@@bryco32 Top speed is hardly influenced by weight, it's the acceleration and brake distance, which is actually more important than top speed..

Cracking little V twin
Jenom takový detail, na videu, ve kterém má být prezentován Dragstar 125 je ve skutečnosti jeho předchůdce, Virago 125
Дякую за гарне відео!
👍🏍️
Good little bikes, if that's what I had I'd ride the friggin wheels off of them.
That sachs sounds amazing, surely that can't be the stock exhaust?
Great beginner bikes . Have never seen any of these .
Made of tinny aluminium and poor finish that doesn't survive Northern Exposure and tiny
They are doing all right in European weather. Typical japanese and korean built quality.
Such good good bikes. I wonder why they stop producing such machines. 😊
I don’t know what’s happening with the camera, but I need a Gravol now. And for a very small twin, I’d take the Honda with liquid cooling.
The first bike you showed, the Sachs, is agonizingly small. I really don't understand the point of making such a smal vee twin.
Someone else said they are scooter motors. Wouldn't be surprised.
try the moto rumi v twin , engine was to be shared between the motorcycle and scooter , displacement was , in three varitions all four strokes
Yamaha virago was 250cc not 125cc .. get your facts right

What a nice roundup of blenders .....
Why in the world would any manufacturer add that much weight and cost to build a 125cc Vtwin

How dare you! I'd that over a Super Duke R any day of the week!
the 125 virago is not a twin, it's a single made from a 250. the rear cylinder has no piston or valves.
whaaaat? so the rear cylinder is a dummy?
Ahahahahahahahahahahah

SACHS?? I remember the good old 2-stroke Sachs mc's from 50s and 60s.......any connection??
sachs reminds me of the rotary legend
