ADHD woman here, married to a wonderful autistic man. We’re expecting our first child, a girl, in November. Life is so good. I found someone who loves and understands me, and vice versa.
She is just cute as a button her wee voice is just angelic. Beautiful couple who seem to just balance and help each other through their daily challenges. When they are just sat there laughing together the whole room lit up you can just see the love and respect they have for each other and that is what life is all about. Henry is absolutely amazing, I love his positive outlook on life and just his inner belief in improving and striving to better himself. I truly love this channel. As a father of a young autistic boy it really pleases me to see the respect and interest you show everyone and just the platform you give people with disabilities to tell their story to us which allows us to understand and improve ourselves. Keep it up. Much love from Scotland
"I know I can come home and there's peace, there's joy, there's love." - beautiful words, and I think you've cracked the true essence of life that everyone should strive for. Thank you for sharing, you're both awesome!
Henry, lots of women would be very grateful for such a caring husband, partner or boyfriend as you. You care with everything you have, but also know when to ask for help. That's a real man right there. And as a musician & singer myself, I don't say things like this to just anyone, but you have a real gift with your trumpet. I could listen to you for hours. Tiarra, you're sweet & kind. You appreciate the simple things in life, peace, love, working as a team, etc. Not many people take the time to just notice things like this. But I'm glad you take time to enjoy these things. And I can tell you must be great with kids. Those kids are blessed to have you help them grow & learn. Edit: Tiarra, you're good on the keyboard too. I loved listening to you playing music together. It's good that you enjoy playing music together.
What a great duo! I do see why he asked her if she ever thought she could be autistic too. Autism looks different in women. And autism and ADHD often come together.
Emotional disregulation is a part of ADHD. I have ADHD. What an absolutely lovely couple! They’re like yin and yang; they fit and belong together. I’m so happy they’d found each other! 🎉🎉🎉
Henry and Tiarra make a beautiful couple. They have more love, understanding and know each other better then most couples. They already have what it takes to nurture a relationship figured out and that's half the battle. I wish them all the best, I think they will have a beautiful life together!
Two fantastic people in the prime of life about to embark on a wonderful journey together-I love to see it. I would be remiss not to compliment that stylish hat as well. Thought I was looking at Idris Elba for a second
0:20 wow he looked like a jazz cat before the trumpet came out but when he starts blowing on there will never be another you, I had that settled 😂 great style 😊
I am audhd and my partner is autistic, and so are many family members. These two are so relatable, but like they always say, if you've met one neurodivergent person, you've met one neurodivergent person! We all have different needs and accommodations. This is something I wish I understood as a kid. Things could've been a lot easier. I could've given myself so much more grace and patience and the energy spent on working so hard to fit in could've been used to help those around me. I wish them all the best!! Thank you so much for being interviewed and sharing your story with the world!
Whenever you interview autistic people, I get so emotional, because I’m also autistic but I don’t have a diagnosis and I relate to every single thing they say. The meltdowns, the hiding in public, feeling different than anyone else, all of it. And the expressing yourself through music or creatively. It’s hard to be different.
Henry is so likeable and his fiance is as well. So pleased you have featured them. I have worked with autistic children and those with ADHD. Adored all of them. I see myself on the autistic spectrum, and understand.
Their love and genuine authenticity is so cute and contagious! Also never underestimate how tricky a trumpet is to play well. Absolutely love hearing it played so well, that’s talent! I love that they can share the joy of music together.
Henry and Tiarra sure do complement each other! What a great couple. Tiarra's smile and laugh and Henry's trumpet playing just filled me with such joy! And while I don't have autism, I sure can relate to what Henry was saying about being distracted and forgetful. It can be very stressful and upsetting.
"I can come home and there is peace and joy and serenity." I can tell you, many of us watching wish we were as lucky as you. Much love to you and your family! ❤
Chris, I love that you brought up the idea that sometimes autism in women looks different than in men including women having a diagnosis of ADHD. I don’t know if it would help her to see a doctor and find out if she has high functioning autism or not. I do feel like they are a good Couple and I loved hearing their story. Thank you for sharing.
I needed to see this today, especially to hear what Henry said at the end. I have ADHD and honestly believe it's dragged me back so much. I'm nowhere near where I want to be in life. I can't help thinking how much better my life would be if I didn't have this condition. Got to remember to stay positive
What a beautiful couple comprised of two interesting individuals who seem genuinely kind and compassionate. How lucky they are to have met one another. One day I hope to be so lucky. As an aside, that trumpet playing hit.
I have Autism and this is very comforting to me, seeing two people that have accepted each other and encouraging one another to be their true transparent selves. Beautiful! Thankyou both for opening up 💛
I have been awaken this early Sunday morning to see and hear these two beautiful souls. I am extremely emotional, my tears are flowing uncontrollably. I wish the so called “ normal “ people treat each other with kindness and understanding. May the almighty God continue to bless you sweet people. I wish you were my neighbor. ❤️⭐️ Their music soothed my soul. ⭐️❤️
Thank you for doing an interview with an adult who appears who have low support needs with their Autism. This is not recognized enough and the damage it does to autistic people, especially late diagnosed autistic people, when they hear “you’re not autistic, you can talk/make eye contact/have reciprocal conversations/etc” all the time is not talked about. I LOVE that you brought up autism in women to Tiarra too! As a late diagnosed autistic woman with ADHD (diagnosed as a child for the ADHD) I see a lot of similarities in myself and it was interesting/helpful to hear their perspectives. They are such a cute couple, I love them so much!
Right people be saying stuff like that and that's because they aren't educated and aware and accepting but who cares about those people who can't take the time to learn and understand us because we are human just like anybody else and there's nothing wrong with a late diagnosis and there are positive support for people like all of us but please do not ever support autism speaks that's a big no no
This makes my heart feel so good♥️ They compliment each other and seem to be so good for each other. As happy as they are together is beautiful ‼️ Genuinely complimenting each other with the best words😍

You guys are WAY too cute, I can't handle it! I was so glad to hear Henry's laugh. You both have beautiful smiles and are beautiful people. Tiarra, you could be a voice actress, you'd be amazing! Henry, you have some really inspirational words, you speak so well. I am ADHD and my husband is somewhere on the Autism spectrum. We make it work and it really is an ideal connection. I also play piano and he used to play trombone but plays guitar now. Music is truly amazing. You guys sound GREAT together. Way to go guys!
I absolutely enjoy this video. This couple is in sync with each other and the way they bounce off each other's energy is amazing. The music they played together is soothing.
This is one of the best one's I've seen in a while, thank you for giving me hope and strength knowing that there is someone out there that will WANT to be this loving and supportive of me in every way. Day in day out, it's never easy, but true & unconditional love conquers ALL.

He’s very musical!
Yeah it’s pretty awesome! I’m also autistic and I play trombone and I really enjoy it.
