    Edwards is pro-ready whenever she decides to leave.

    I gave the video a thumbs up even before I listened to a word of it because the question was so intriguing! Before I turn it on I would like to say, EVERYTHING is uncertain as of this moment: Aaliyah, Paige, Azzi, Audrey and a cast of others will determine which direction UCONN will be headed to. I'm not going to guess what will happen BUT, in my mind if UCONN can pick up a 'sweeper' of sorts under the basket and with the further development of KK and Shade and the above mentioned players decide to come back, "Oh, my goodness! A team for the ages!!!!!"

    Another great video, I agree with every word said. If it wasn't an Olympic year, I think she'd go for sure. As it is, probably an even money proposition. The nice thing for Aaliyah is that she can take her time and make a considered decision. Whatever she decides will be in her long-term best interests. I don't think she's going to make the wrong choice as I believe Megan Walker did when she left after her junior season.

    How refreshing it is to listen to comments in this group without those two clowns running another group continually bringing up kudo's for one person and ignoring all others making comments.
    Peace.......
    Paige is staying one more year...maybe her covid year also. She's probably the highest paid women NIL player in college ball. Or atleast near the top. She's going to give up over $ 1 million a year ? I don't think so.

    Edwards should stay at Uconn. They will have a great team next year. It will be a very deep team and will have Azzi, Jana and Aubrey back. Patterson will be back. Good looking freshmen coming in and current freshmen will be even better next year. Paige seems to be staying also. Aaleya can experience a title run next year. They will have more size to go with the great group of guards. Uconn plays against great competition. She would play in front of huge crowds. It would be her last year to experience that. Uconn fans are very supportive.

    I'm a UCONN fan but I don't see us winning today at all. Hopefully it's not a blow out. However, I don't see Edwards returning next season as UCONN needs to add a productive big from the portal next season instead of relying totally on a recovering Jana El Alfy plus Edwards needs get to get her pro career started.. In addition, there are just too many UCONN players returning next season for their COVID year of eligibility (eg Muhl). Btw no matter how nice a person Amari DeBerry is she should be forced to transfer next year as she is just a joke coming off the bench. Her reluctance to utilize her height and "physicality" in the paint is enough to gently ask to leave or withdraw her scholarship.

    That the foreign players can't get an NIL is disgusting! The NIL is a devisive element now in college basketball! Uconn should pay all of the basketball players a hefty work study salary instead of corporate American coming in. Who wants to play on a team of 5 when 2 of your team mates depend upon YOU to help keep them rich because they have NIL contracts? It's disgusting!

    She should go pro. I don't want to see her playing against Xavier in 2025. That's beneath her dignity. That's for Paige too. This won't be a title contending team next season. They have already perfected this level of competition. They don't need to be beating up on overmatched 18 year olds in the big east next year.
    You mentioned the Olympics here. Canada could get knocked out today if they lose to Japan. I mentioned it in another message. It is stunning that Aaliyah is not with Canada right now. And I think that she will feel a lot of regret if they get knocked out.
    As far as her pro prospects are concerned. She sure gets blocked a lot at the college level. I wish she was a couple of inches taller. It seems as though she is projected to be a top 5 pick regardless.

  • @buzzard6410
    @buzzard6410 6 месяцев назад

    The one thing you didn't mention is that UConn develops players with pro-ready skills. Other programs like LSU and SC will win championships, but are not concerned about them being pro-ready. I think Mulkey even said she doesn't care about the WNBA. There is a reason that UConn is the college most represented in the WNBA.

    Can you do one, just one dam video without mentioning Angel Reese and worrying about what she is doing and comparing everybody to her. You get on your show and constantly complain that the girl is absolute garbage can't do this and can't do that of a player but you keep comparing these mega watt super star players who do not have the accomplishments she has trying to minimize her body of work. Why do you feel the need to do that its annoying. I get on here to hear about Edwards and have to hear about how sorry a player Angel Reese is and dare mentioning Reese in the same sentence. Compare Edwards to the other forwards of her caliber and be kind enough to keep Angel Reese name out your mouth. You so sure Angel Reese is garbage why would even mention Reese and the WNBA in the same sentence throw her name and her game out with the trash...Do you stand around worrying about where your garbage went and what it's doing after you throw it out use the same energy here. The WNBA scouts are going to decide their forward picks by comparing the top forwards in the draft not by what Angel Reese can or cannot do. 🤔
