This is one of the great stories in sports. Watching Rebecca Lobo and that team made me a life-long Lady Huskies fan.

Great Coaches have to make push their players to make them realize their potential! They make you work a little harder to break you down. Then they'll build you up and turn you lose! Trust in you to make the big plays on both ends of the court! I love me some Geno and Coach Pat Summitt and Dawn Staley and Tara Vandaveer, Kay Yow, Vivian Stringer just to name a few.

These two are both alpha dogs and really people make a bigger deal out of their relationship than there needs to be. Everyone can't be best friends with everyone. Sometimes the personalities don't allow for it. These two are successful and great basketball coaches. They are probably just so much alike the relationship is good as it is.

I never saw her play as a young woman. I've only familiar with Rebecca as an analyst.

Wonder why he won't coach boys basketball

He’s coached boys basketball before coming to Connecticut. He just got a open spot as a women’s head coach and decided to take it. 11 national titles later and probably the favorite to win it again the next couple of years why would he leave now?

I actually do think that's kinda weird that him and Calhoun weren't just not friends, but in fact there were rumors of animosity there. I mean you coach for the same school, the same sport, but you're not fighting for players at all. Geno has more championships, but he also gets all the top players in the nation. You would think that they're at least have a decent working relationship and maybe try to learn something off each other.
