I am not sure if Nima Muhl will see this post but I have to say I was so fascinated by her defense against Caitlin Clark. I only started watching women’s college basketball because of Clark in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. I became a forever Clark fan, then loved the Iowa team, and now watch Big Ten games. Seeing you, I would watch a game. Too bad you didn’t play at Iowa. I understand UConn is the pinnacle but if I had a fantasy team, you and Clark would be my dream picks!!! Outstanding player!

Sometimes I think she is good and sometimes I don't. She was consistently very good on defense. 1 on 1 and team defense. A good passer but too many turnovers. Very inconsistent on on scoring. She is a good leader and sticks up for her teammates. Not a good ball handler under pressure. I go back and forth on how good 8:59 she is as everyone can see here. I love how hard she plays
Raven did ok as someone pointed out Bree Hall was on her in the 1st qrt and then Raven made life difficult. As well Alex Morris did nice job last year as well.

Meanwhile in the trenches of all those other teams without any legacy the bigshots continue to parade through each years contests of which of the big three ends up with the trophy.

Nika's grade over the 4 years: B+. We all like her intensity and toughness on the court. Some of Nika's TO including her errant passes were unbearable to watch. Nika's breaking the UCONN assists record and her defense should be applauded.

She overachieved at UConn. There is no way she was intended to be such a core piece when she was recruited. She never cheated the fans with her effort. But she is a complimentary piece. Not a star. And when UConn faces elite competition, she will have a quiet game. Injuries have forced her to try to do some things she isn't capable of doing. I don’t see her as a wnba prospect. No way. I am not even sure Amoore or Sheldon will make it in the wnba. But I think she can play in Europe. And the game with her sister was ball state. Not Dayton.

Even if she gets drafted she might not have such success in the pros it's happened to many. Even those over 6'0 don't always make it well in the pros male or female it happens. Its why even smaller players like Gabbie Marshall or Van lith aren't expected to go pro. Marshall has already announced she'll go to grad school to get a degree in mental health or whatever acknowledging that at 5'7 she wasn't likely to get drafted or have as much success in the pros as she had in college & that's not her fault it's not Iowa's fault it's reality & it's her deciding what's best for her. Van Lith I think sadly will try to go pro in another year or two but I think she'll find it difficult even if she's drafted which I doubt. That's nothing on Van lith she probably could run circles around me on a basketball court even if I was her age. Try checking the UCONN stats for the present year. Nika has twice the amount of assists as KK. Nika has a higher shooting % than KK. Nika has a higher 3 point shooting % as KK. KK is not a better shooter. Check the UCONN stats page for the year. NOT A BETTER SHOOTER

KK is a huge liability, she is a massive ball hog as a freshman, I cannot imagine her senior year. Really poor decision maker, agressive on the drives, but cannot finish on big guards, she did make few outside shots, but her release is too slow. She can definitely improve, but for me, more cons than pros. Next year should definitely be Paige on PG, KK can be good rotational player.
As a UCONN fan I'm happy that Nika Muhl is not returning. She is at best true backup PG. Her lack of athleticism, her inability to score in big games, also when the game is turned over to her she produces double digit turn overs in big games. Her overall shooting stats are misleading. She has improved at UCONN but UCONN deserves better than her. Man you are making too many excuses for Nika Muhl especially that game against Ohio State. Nika carried UCONN on her back the prior two seasons while Paige was collecting splinters on her a$$. The Big East Defensive Player of the year as a Sophomore and Junior. Last year Geno asked all the players to step up and start taking 3's. The only one that stepped up was Nika. Of all of last years starters, Nika had the highest shooting % for 3's on the team. Also took the most 3 point shots. Like I said...Nika carried UCONN on her back as a sophomore and junior. Check the UCONN stats page. Don't go blaming Nika for the Ohio State loss. That falls squarely on Edwards. Plays 18 minutes and scored 4 points. She played like a chump. Amari DeUseless could of contributed more. In the Ohio game I know for a fact that if Edwards played her normal game. Nika's stats would of been much better. That loss goes on Edwards. It's a shame that you're to blind to see it.

I really like Nika`s game, all time assist leader, I watch a lot of UConn. I think she might be sick and tired of the Paige Buecker saga. Even Coach Gino didn`t look very happy when Paige "stole" the day from the other seniors, chosing that moment to announce she was coming back next year.

I really like Nika`s game, all time assist leader, I watch a lot of UConn. I think she might be sick and tired of the Paige Buecker saga. Even Coach Gino didn`t look very happy when Paige "stole" the day from the other seniors, chosing that moment to announce she was coming back next year.
