They both play games in 4k. It's entirely up to you if you want the resolution change. The only difference between the two in gameplay is frame rate. Honestly I have the S and am very happy with it. I owned the original Xbox One and it would lag even on the home screen. I got rid of it after two months and after a while I decided to give Xbox another shot with the S. I made a wise choice. It runs well, has a solid frame rate and I've experienced no system crashes, freezes, or lags. I honestly recommend the Xbox One S.

Also if you already have an Xbox one S you can sell it for $200 & make it even cheaper. Merry Christmas to me.
I have the original Xbox One, but I've been considering possibly upgrading to S or X this Christmas. Comparing 1TB models the cost difference is $150. I noted Bluetooth is 'finally' added to the One X not the One S. If you're even 'thinking' 4K is in your future it's hard to ignore all the benefits the Xbox One X offers. Assuming you haven't gone already to the Sony PS4 Pro side.
i thought he said the PS4 Pro did not support 4k blu-ray? if it does that is a big mistake in the video also yeah 1TB is almost needed as it makes you download the game now using the disc as a license token and original data upload before or right after the download
yumri4 I'm referring to 4K gaming. The HDR and color support on the Xbox One X is horrible. For 4K video streaming I'd suggest anything else than Xbox and for 4K Blu-ray probably a Panasonic player.
that makes more sense then just 4k as HDR will not look right unless you have the right kind of HDR TV to go with it and match up the standard tha the Xbox One X uses with the HDR standard that the TV uses then also with what the game / movie uses which is a lot of work for HDR which to my knowledge is just a slight more gradient of color ranges

My One S is a 4K BluRay Player, that also plays Couch Coop titles. PC is still for Singleplayer Games and Online Multiplayer. 230€ was a good deal from the MS Store. Backwards Compatibility is also nice to have, even classics like Space Giraffe are back on the S. ^^ But it's a bit loud for my taste.
Wonderful review man... I can't understand why you don't have more subs... Im not even a consol gamer, but I like to stay up on the latest stuff.. So I'm subscribing. :) you won me over.
I am going with s cause it has more space and cheaper but I don't really like the fact that games of each consoles are restricted but I am going with s
The s, the x, and the series s, and the series x have been some of the nicer looking and sleek looking consoles i have seen and the one x reminds me of the ps2 look
People are so hyped about 4k graphics knowing that in action games you tend to not notice in gameplay . xbox 360 was out for years 2005 to 2011 and even now the gamepay is good at lower graphics
I've got a gaming pc (gtx 1070, ryzen 5 1600, 16 gb ddr4 ram) and I've been thinking of getting an xbox one S for when I'm travelling and to play games that do not support controllers natively on pc, for example Path of Exile and Diablo 3. The One S is way smaller than my gaming pc and I wouldn't have to carry around a gaming keyboard and mouse. Also the S is cheapest out of all the current consoles. I don't want to spend a lot given I already have a gaming pc for which the gpu alone cost me more than the xbox one X.
I have the rare, limited addition army green Xbox One S and I love it! It was cheaper than the original although it has a graphical and powerful upgrade! I like the S since it has better graphics than the original, but is not unstable like the X, it's a true masterpiece that's stable and plays games amazingly. Edit: (Plus you get a matching controller free, so it's a win win. Also Skyrim mods run perfectly on the S of you are into modding 👌).
Lord Loaf what the army green is being sold at my local GameStop for 160... ya think I should beg my parents to get the Xbox one x used at 350 there tho? I do love 144hz and tbh can see all 30 frames at 30fps and all 60 at 60fps (a curse) but on tv I can’t see the frames and my Xbox one struggles to do 30fps on roblox..
@@ExpertCobra-tn1vt I would rather get the Xbox S since the performance is more stable than an X's performance. But if your a graphics person go for the Xbox X :)
Thank you for helping me Ive decided ima get the s over the x cause if you don’t have a TV to show the graphics the x has I think its just better to buy the S also the price for the S is amazing😂👍
Xbox one x I got it for 200 pounds in uk from a place called cash convertors they gave me a shitty controller but I then convinced them to give me an original one they did so
Is this the final result of "Project Scorpio", or is there still better Xbox console coming next year? Looking at the X, I guess it's fine for consoles, but is still powered by lower tear hardware. However, considering the price it is obvious MS did a fine job and that most profit will come from games and other content. Since exclusives are dying, we are probably witnessing the last year these abeerations will be around, I find it hard to justify this acquisition. Then again, since I own various examples of the 3 systems (PC/PS/Xbox) I see no reason not to buy this new version unless a more powerful "Scorpio" is launched next year, that is, Cheers.
xbox one x stops functioning after playing for few days ( yes, its not some rare occation, if you search the web there's plenty of em) .. I really dont recommend buying it right now
I used to only have a PlayStation 2 and just a regular 35 inch zenith TV with only simple regular speakers. It was okay back then. Now, I have an XBox OneX console, and a 90inch Sony 4K TV connected to a home theater surround sound system. It's a totally completely different experience. Especially when the volume is turned up high, I can feel the sub woofers behind me punching my reclining leather chair when ever there is boom or explosion in the game I'm playing. It's like your in the game.
I'm on a big debate on Wich one I want I want the one x because it the newest console right now but the one s is just cheaper and almost the same thing as the x Wich one should I get
Jackspedicy 2 get the s it's pretty much the same as the x. And it's cheaper. And the only difference between the two is the graphics (depending on what, type of TV you have) and the design slightly.
Both are amazing, but right now the one s is only 199.99, plus a game, I'd rather get that than spend 499.99 for a bit better graphics, but that's just my opinion 🤷♂️
Non of them just xbox one. Don't be ignorant guys. Its the same console generation. Its not a pc that lasts forever while upgrading. Its a console which will be replaced by another generation.
i think the point of it was to get 4k blu-ray on the cheap for those who do not want to hook up a computer to their living room TV and use a mouse and keyboard to play 4k blu-ray discs from the 1 or 2 brands that currently support the format in their CD/DVD/ Blu-ray drive
I like all consoles but between these 2, it's the one s for sure because the only real difference is true 4k gaming and if u don't have a 4k tv then it's just an Xbox one s. People will buy it just so they can say they have it and for the true 4k but the one s has some 4k feature so the s is like a trial version of the x just not true 4k and white instead of black also a bit slower but that's doesn't matter if you have a good connection
I game on a 4k HDR monitor but I picked up an Xbox one S, I really think the S is great value and the X is very poor value for money. sure the X looks better but are 10% better graphics worth 200% the price? imo no.
@@mikexcanxjerk tbh it makes no difference anymore as I refunded my Xbox1S back to Amazon after having it only 4 days so it's a moot point now. Glad you're enjoying yours though :)

Comparing 1TB models the cost difference is $150. I noted Bluetooth is 'finally' added to the One X not the One S. If you're even 'thinking' 4K is in your future it's hard to ignore all the benefits the Xbox One X offers. Assuming you haven't gone already to the Sony PS4 Pro side.
i thought he said the PS4 Pro did not support 4k blu-ray?
if it does that is a big mistake in the video also yeah 1TB is almost needed as it makes you download the game now using the disc as a license token and original data upload before or right after the download
yumri4
I'm referring to 4K gaming.
D Jaquith NO.I'm not the one that's using my console my mom and dad likes to watch at NETFLIX and do entertainment.
D Jaquith I have the OG PS4 and I want to get the 1x
Wow! You answered all of my questions and then some. You do an excellent job of making videos, wasn't boring, very informative. Your video shooting and editing was superb! (I watched one earlier today that made me nauseous with his erratic camera movement). Your video was excellent and I have subscribed. (Love your chair too).
I just orderd the s today
Dj Lovelace how is it?
Dj Lovelace 200
@Supreme Mickey Gamer fuck off
@Supreme Mickey Gamer i have xbox one x but dont do people like that bro
Thank you so much I have been looking for a review that actually helped the situation that I was in
My Atari 2600 is doing just fine.
Lmfao😂😂😂
Can't beat pele's soccer or defender baby!
Exactly what I was looking for from my search! :D
Asterix is a French comic character, Asterisk is the punctuation mark.
Michael Varden also a park in France
Excellent video and presentation. Thank you I found this very insightful and helpful as someone who is now ready to buy either one of these
My One S is a 4K BluRay Player, that also plays Couch Coop titles.
The color-scheme, are you kidding?
exquisite video Marcus, your editing skills are showing
+Deep House Thanks!
I don’t care to much about 4K for games I just play cod and stuff like that
I am going with s cause it has more space and cheaper but I don't really like the fact that games of each consoles are restricted but I am going with s
The s, the x, and the series s, and the series x have been some of the nicer looking and sleek looking consoles i have seen and the one x reminds me of the ps2 look
Like for Black Friday
IsaacBW35 merry thanksgiving
I bought a Xbox 1 S for Black Friday
@@danielescobar8221 me too. I got it at GameStop because they ran out of the PS4 $200 bundle with the Spider-Man game.
Riley Freeman will they restock it?
@@danielescobar8221 same. I got mine for $200
Back in July I sold my one s for £90 console only. And bought a one x for £100, re pasted it and she’s running lovely.
Xbox one s + Forza 3 Horizon + FIFA 18
= 249€
Xbox one x + forza 3 horizon + FIFA 18
=610 ong, you can buy a normal ps4 AND xbox one s maybe a game
KIEKXO lol
Very informative. Very good video
I think I will stick with the One S. Don't wanna be blinded by the sun. lol 4:07
Lmao same
Thank you for your review for both consoles. It help me to decided to know which one I should buy.
Wait 3 years and buy the series X or S.
Got the s for Black Friday 2 years ago
Thanks for the review
Who’s here for the corona
Me 6 years later still having an Xbox one X
Upgrade to the Series X!
I did 1
Value of graphics for me = 0
Definitely getting the s!😎
Cartoon Nation 😎
😎
I found an Xbox One s and one X 1TB for the same price what should I do?!
ONE X
Now I’m gonna get the Xbox series x
Im buying the one s after this video. Great video. Thank you.
very informatic video
Thank you for helping me Ive decided ima get the s over the x cause if you don’t have a TV to show the graphics the x has I think its just better to buy the S also the price for the S is amazing😂👍
this was helpful thank you!
Right now I have a 1s, but I'll be upgrading to the xbox scarlett in the future.
Thanks dude this helped me
I’m copping the S, I basically only play fortnite and there is definitely a new system on the horizon
Aye I'ma get a Xbox soon we can play fortnite lmao
Xbox one x I got it for 200 pounds in uk from a place called cash convertors they gave me a shitty controller but I then convinced them to give me an original one they did so
The Ram who caressss. People just want to play the game
I just got an Xbox one X for $200 adult owned exciting to experience the gameplay 🤩
Then again, since I own various examples of the 3 systems (PC/PS/Xbox) I see no reason not to buy this new version unless a more powerful "Scorpio" is launched next year, that is,
Cheers.
+Norman Rand Wolfe Scorpio is the codename for tbe Xbox one x. This thing is significantly more powerful than the S
Thanks, mate.
xbox one x stops functioning after playing for few days ( yes, its not some rare occation, if you search the web there's plenty of em) .. I really dont recommend buying it right now
Norman Rand Wolfe which won
Tier dumbass
Xbox one S has a cleaner design but it sucks Xbox one X looke a bit funky but is much better
Thank you this video was great
I got an s but I want the x project Scorpio edition
Cheers mate, really good advice. I have always been a Playstation guy but I like that I can either console and still get tup to date games.
Guys do you like the Xbox one S or the Xbox x if you like the Xbox one S give this a like
Love the Xbox 1s. It's my favret
I’m giving you a dislike cause consoles suck
@@drew3595 Not really.
@@yobama5288 actually, yeah.
Drew Schimmel then why the fuck you here
Thanks this helped👍🏾
I'm on a big debate on Wich one I want I want the one x because it the newest console right now but the one s is just cheaper and almost the same thing as the x Wich one should I get
Kap N' Nico nobodys finna read all of that dude
Jackspedicy 2 get the s it's pretty much the same as the x. And it's cheaper. And the only difference between the two is the graphics (depending on what, type of TV you have) and the design slightly.
Lol yeah you right, X still better, S is smarter
Thanks, I was wondering what the deference was... Thanks again
Both are amazing, but right now the one s is only 199.99, plus a game, I'd rather get that than spend 499.99 for a bit better graphics, but that's just my opinion 🤷♂️
Yeah that’s nice but my OG broke down, I want the most powerful nigga to be my console after 5 years of use
Nicely done lad
“I’m still going with the x”
Of course you are. Gotta help Xbox make that money
Very thoroughly explained.
At 4:17 I think the one s looks better when it came to graphics
Top 10
You are fucking blind
Same
Nathan Everything ya cause it doesn't make you go blind and crash your car into a bunch of children
What camera do you have it looks flawless.
Non of them just xbox one. Don't be ignorant guys. Its the same console generation.
Its not a pc that lasts forever while upgrading. Its a console which will be replaced by another generation.
Ok so i will stay on my iphone 1,my adidas ultra boost 3.0, my nissan 370z and my tv forever. Everything is getting newer better versions one day.
try playing a 4k blu ray on the xbox one original
i think the point of it was to get 4k blu-ray on the cheap for those who do not want to hook up a computer to their living room TV and use a mouse and keyboard to play 4k blu-ray discs from the 1 or 2 brands that currently support the format in their CD/DVD/ Blu-ray drive
The xbox ones Arent being made anymore they stopped producing them
Xbox one s is way better than the original...
Great video!!!
i have the One s and im happy with One s
Great review.
IM GETTING IT ON BLACK FRIDAY THE XBOX 1S
Enjoying it? 2 years ago I got my s for black friday
My S was a reward from work but if I was to pay I’d get the X. When I upgrade I’ll surely go that route.
Definitely get the Series X and not the One X. Kind of confusing, I know
game on a pc and buy the s to use as a cheap 4k bluray player
It’s not a cheap 4K Blu-ray player though.... you could buy a 4K optical drive for less than that...
Xbox one x should make for a pretty good paperweight
Yeah but a pc doesn't give the laid back experience of a console
spot on !
Pranita Kakde What do you mean?
He could fight off a bobcat with that head movement...🧐
So the X is better but why is the s more expensive?
And i'm still here with my Xbox one
I like all consoles but between these 2, it's the one s for sure because the only real difference is true 4k gaming and if u don't have a 4k tv then it's just an Xbox one s. People will buy it just so they can say they have it and for the true 4k but the one s has some 4k feature so the s is like a trial version of the x just not true 4k and white instead of black also a bit slower but that's doesn't matter if you have a good connection
Failed Abortion lmao your pic is lil pump ?? Wayment??
You helped me make up my mind thanks.
Which Xbox should i get if I buy the following games: Nba 2k18, Wwe 2k18 and Gta 5
VicenteSplashes 3's Xbox one S
Do you want better graphics? And spend 500$?
Hi my name is Kevin there going for 400
I have a question, is it worth buying an xbox S this year or is there gonna be another console coming out soon?
I game on a 4k HDR monitor but I picked up an Xbox one S, I really think the S is great value and the X is very poor value for money. sure the X looks better but are 10% better graphics worth 200% the price? imo no.
Yeolde GamerSteve it's not just the graphics , the game runs better as well , and the Xbox X are going for 400$ now
@@mikexcanxjerk tbh it makes no difference anymore as I refunded my Xbox1S back to Amazon after having it only 4 days so it's a moot point now. Glad you're enjoying yours though :)
Yeolde GamerSteve so what do you play then , well I'm getting the Xbox one X , I have the original PS4 , I really dislike the PS4 after having it since it came out , your just not into games prolly , the X has better graphics , better performance , can run a smooth 1080p or 4k as you know . And that controller is amazinggggggg
@@mikexcanxjerk I play on PS4 pro and Switch but that said I'm not bashing the Xbox in any way, it's a great system but just not for me. I used to game on PC but the cost of upgrading the gpu/cpu is just outrageous these days so I stick to my consoles.
Yeolde GamerSteve if you played on PC , you would know that the Xbox one X is pretty much a baby PC , is the most powerful console you can get , higher tellflops and gcu , but your choice , im sick of the bland interface and controller of the PS4 , idc about exclusives , only play COD and NbA 2k , maybe jumpforce , that's about it as of now .
Terra flops aren't gaming perfomance, they are raw computing power!
