I got the Xbox one when it was released but it is way to big. I am really considering going to PlayStation. But not because of the size. Both systems have their better points. that's why I'm really likeing what looks to be this new approach to staggering the systems. So we'll likely see PS5 first, and then the next xbox 2-3 years after than and so on, and so fourth. each one will be better than the last and drive the technology forward faster if nothing else.
I grow up on the GameCube and PlayStation 2 so when the Wii came out I got the Wii and when the ps3 slim cane out I got the ps3 slim. And never get the Xbox 360 because I was to much of a PlayStation fanboy back then.

To all the people who say buy a pc, a GOOD pc is probably more money than both consoles combined
define good, you can buy a PC that performs similarly to an Xbone X for about the same price. Of course you can buy an even better PC rig for more money but you really don't have too. the PC is a very flexible platform where "good" is pretty subjective.

OOmpa_LLompa The problem is that a good PC that performs as well as the current consoles still has to be built. People who aren't good at that kind of stuff would still prefer to just buy a console and play it without having to build it, since pre-built PCs are more expensive. imo I enjoyed building my PC and stuff like that, but it's understandable that most wouldn't want to go through the work of learning it all. Though I have seen some good deals of pre-built PCs that are almost the same price as the PS4 Pro.

The easiest way to figure out which is the best console is the ones your friends have. If more of your friends have a Xbox, then get that. If more of your friends have a PS4, then get that. Simple and end of discussion
Both are essentially the same thing. Majority of all major games are on both consoles. So just play on whatever console majority of your friends use so you can the most fun. Simple.

I think we can all agree that these are two amazing consoles. I myself prefer the Xbox one as I grew up playing Xbox but I have played ps4 and have also enjoyed the experience. These two consoles both bring amazing gaming experiences for the consumer and it’s pretty much up to the consumer on what they should buy.

Got the Xbox one X and had it for about a month now. As much as I loved PlayStation in general, having the extra power for 4K is game changer. Having more options for 4K media totally makes it worth it. One thing I really hate is that I really miss the PlayStation exclusives.

I don't know if it was mentioned or not, but the XBone X can play 4k bluray discs while the PS4 Pro can't! Very important to mention this if anyone is looking into using either one for a 4k bluray player.

I have both the white ps4 pro and xbox one x scorpio edition! I can definitely see the x being my primary system from now on. The performance advantage is very noticeable. Plus having a uhd blu ray player is a nice addition.

Mishpãré Urśhjìlk if they ever did go down this route, they have the option to just release a new switch dock that has an additional processor to improve graphics. The problem with that is it would widen the gap between handheld mode and portable mode which would make game development harder.
6:21 Potential Solution: just put all of your games and apps into one folder, or limit the number of folders that you use-- it will tend to stay towards the front that way.
I currently use 3 folders for my games: Disk, Digital, and Disk+Digital (the last one being a category where I ODDLY happen to own both versions of the game, digitally and on disk). Then, within the folders, I sort them alphabetically. This seems to make things very easy and not as tiresome as you mention, Kevin.
In my opinion xbox has better looks, performance, and better console UI. Ps4 easily has the better exclusives.

One big plus about the Xbox over the PlayStation is that while you're playing a game on the Xbox, you can pause it and run another app such as RUclips or Netflix while leaving the game running. If you try that on the PlayStation, it will shut down the game while you open the other app, basically only allowing you to run one thing at a time.

I have the Xbox One S it’s great and I love it, watching this video made me want to play both consoles so I can see which one is better, I have been hearing more rumors about the Xbox One X more than I have heard about the PS4 Pro, in my opinion I think I would choose the Xbox One X because of the lack of great games and great graphics, I still have a spot in my heart for PlayStation but tbh both consoles are great in their own way. 😃

You forgot to mention a few features on Xbox One X. The Ultra 4k Blu-ray drive as part of cost and multi-media. Dolby Atmos support for games as well. Freesync 2 is going to be a interesting feature. Tvs from next year with HDMI 2.1 port will support Freesync 2. This will allow smoother frame rate and rid of any screen tearing.
I have a Xbox One X, PS4 and Switch. I can play the exclusives and most of multi-plat games on Xbox One X. PS4 and Swicth for the exclusives. No doubt Xbox One X takes more advantage of my OLED tv.
The Xbox One X sound quality blows the ps4 out of the water as well.

I'm over a year late but I feel like Kevin didn't know that the PS4 also has a list of all games installed or bought and not installed just like the Xbox One has. He made it sound like there isn't one, there is. I get what he means that only showing the most recently played game up front but the Xbox does the same exact thing
Microsoft are doing everything right atm. 4K Blu ray player, True 4K gaming, instant upgrade on your games library WITHOUT patches, Game Pass service that is more accessible and as easy as using Netflix, True Backwards Compatibility. The list goes on, you have earned my money Xbox One X!

TiocStudios and no there's no 4k blu ray player on PC it can be done but it requires specific hardware to do so.

Not everyone wants or has a PC. I want something for the living room that the whole family can play and experience that is equally simple to use. Oh, I also have a lovely new 4K tv to use with it 😃
Did you ever come to think that Sony could do all that with there console but choose not to because they're saving all that for the ps5. really think about it Microsoft release a very powerful console that has 4k on everything and then in a few years whats gonna be different? Who's gonna buy a new Xbox then the ps5 will come with 4k.. (Probably higher than that) 60fps on all their games and blu ray player. Sony want to see what Microsoft got up there sleeve and then they come out with the ps5 and make way more powerful console than the xbox one X it be a PC like console and the Xbox one X has nothing on PC. Also playstation has better games. I also like to say I own a ps4 and an Xbox one.

john doe they saved themselves when it come to their own fan base but it did not move the needle with any of us PS4 guys. I use to be a die Xbox guy until I played “GOD OF WAR” and “LAST OF US” there’s no use in having a powerful system when you don’t have the games to go with it!

I preordered and bought the One X when it released that day, and eventually got rid of it... and I needed another machine for now until the preorders open in the Series X, and bought another One X yesterday. I already have the Money put aside for the Series X . I hope it comes in at $399 but I have a feeling it will be $499 or more and that's ok. I just cant wait for the Series X

I am planning on buying a ps pro this year in june. I been an xbox one and xbox 360 player for years since I converted from ps3 and ps2. But now I am thinking of starting brand new on ps 4 pro and converting once again.
