Hello, my xbox one 1tb stopped working in the beginning of 2022. I haven't touched it since but I have a spare xbox one (512gb). Can I take the 1tb hard drive and put it in the working xbox? The working xbox has a newer update. The faulty xbox first started turning off right after bootup and then during bootup. Later it didn't turn on at all. (even with new power supply)
At the age 16 I really want Xbox One S now I'm 21 years old and still don't have Xbox One S because adulthood is not easy all of my money goes to family, charity, bills, tax and life necessary (food, grocery, and hygiene). Just see this video it's refresh back my old memory, thank you dear sir for restoring back this system to it's finest ❤❤

@@resEGhello sir I just came over to one of these videos and I was like why not because I have a job for phone (I fix disabled phones) to me that is a job :)
Perhaps the most striking aspect to the Xbox One S is its design. Microsoft has done a superb job of repackaging the Xbox One into a far more compact and attractive chassis that is nearly 40% smaller. Xbox One - 333 x 276mm x 78mm (13.1 x 10.8 x 3.1 in) and 3.5 Kg (7.8 lbs) Xbox One S - 295 x 230 x 64mm (11.6 x 9.0 x 2.5 in) and 2.9 kg (6.4 lbs) Perhaps most impressive of all, however, is the Xbox One S now has the power supply built in. Given the original Xbox One had a huge, bulky power supply this is a major step forward - especially given the PS4’s built in power supply was always a selling point for Sony.
Wow! What a fantastic restoration on this Xbox one. You are so talented in my opinion. I really enjoyed watching you work your magic on this system. Im looking forward to seeing your next video. Thanks for sharing. 😊 I might need to get me a gaming system. I think that it would be really fun. Take care and stay safe 😊
I love refurbishing and cleaning older consoles. I recently picked up one of these from a flea market for $25. It was pretty dirty and looked rough. Since these are modular, they are one of the easiest to open and clean. It looks brand new now. Also, I find that using a paint brush with stiff bristles when using soap and water, makes cleaning tiny holesand inside corners very easy.
it's always nice to see these old consoles get another chance at playing games. sad though...knowing that some people treat them like trash, causing them to create errors and overheat.
my original xb1 still works like a charm, ever since it came out of the box. it’s because i’ve been keeping it well cooled. keeping the exhaust port away from anything that’s like a wall. even using a air circulation system. lifting it up and the power brick, letting air flow under it and reduces the amount of crashing and freezing.
I still have my Xbox one S, but sadly mine has an issue when it turns on doesn’t even display the opening screen then turns off. It saddens me because that thing was my life since I was nine and was using it till it gave up on me. One day I might pay to get it repaired just so I can get nostalgia (still on display and I refuse to get rid of it)
there’s yet 2 other things i do to prevent errors from popping up on an xbox. …turning it off fully and keeping the disk tray empty. when done playing on the xbox, hold the power button until the light turns off. it turns it completely off and power cycles the system. and when done playing a disk game, take it out of the tray. it avoids any future issues with the disk drive scanner, like unable to read anything.
Nice tear down and clean up. I still don't understand why people think they need to globe so much thermal paste on the processors. That's just a waste. You really don't need much.
So weird now to think how old the xbox one truely is. It was a console i couldnt wait to get since i was stuck on 360 and couldnt get any of the 'next gen' games at the time. Time really does fly
Sent mine in for repairs and I'm sure this was done when my MB was replaced. I only paid $127 for the repairs thankfully. I'm glad it works well and I can play all my disc games now. Just got Star Wars Battlefront and Rare Replay to start
