Let's be honest, 70% of indians do not have a skin care routine and rest just got influenced by SouthKorea and other countries.
Yeah we don't have routine. But our auntie's will come to our house, and if someone has slightly dark skin. They will tell them to do some kind of paste to apply it on their skin to become fair.
@@darshnes3986 Yeah, their stupid obsession with fairness. I am so done with it.
Lol true all I do is apply this cream thingy and wash my face properly I don't think it's considered a routine 😂😂😂

@Kiran Estelle no
@Kiran Estelle nope
But U have an Indian name...
@Kiran Estelle OMFG I didnt ask U😂😂
I think you're an Indian in Japan
People saying indians don't have a skin care regime , actually might have forgotten bath oil massaging and sunnipimdi regimen and we have things that glow before most civilizations started taking care
Half true
To me That Japanese girl looked as if she had already done her skincare 😂
Lol
How could you make a video about skincare around the world and not include south korea 😩😩😩😩
There are a lot of Korean skincare videos on RUclips already so that is probably why.
@@rafiahharoon271 that’s true. I just want to see if korean people really do all that 10 steps method or is it just US marketing. That’s why i cliked the video, just a little dissapointed i didn’t find what i’m searching for 😆
@@zzzzz3230 Lol, there is a video on buzzfeed called 'American skincare routine vs Korean skincare routine' or something like that at least. Search it up and I think you might like it.
@@zzzzz3230 the current trend for skincare in Korea is much more minimalist. I'm sure there are many that are still into an intense multi-step program but from what I've seen that trend is kinda dated. Like, was big 5 years ago. The focus currently are things like high quality ingredients, double cleansing (an oil base followed by usually a foaming cleanser,) maybe toner, maybe a serum or two, moisturizer (with things like snail mucin, retinol, hyaluronic acid etc) and always ALWAYS sunscreen. Btw, Korean sunscreen is legit the way to go. It seeps into the skin, doesn't leave a gross film, and for anyone with darker skin, please give it a go. I'm pale but I tan easily and Korean sunscreen never leaves that weird white layer, seriously love it.
@@charlottehamer4220 wow, thank you so much for the information
Ad an indian person, yes I can confirm, we all love Himalayas products here esp the neem face wash. It is literally the best. Oh and the apricot one smells heavenly

She put 0% effort into that gift, she just threw stuff together and called it a day😒🙄
second hand embarrassment :/ we got olives in india
Bruh, for the first time I felt so embarrassed as an American. She ruined it for us. Indian girl bought her vintage metal bag which is cool and this girl bought her olives🤦♀️
Which video sorry
Wait, what? Skin care is a hobby in Japan?!
I’m Japanese and I’ve gone to bed with my makeup on twice this week and it takes just 5 minutes to do my skin care routine😂 I’m so bad at this “hobby”!
Ok for starters you can do whatever skincare you want but please don't sleep with makeup 😭😭🏃
リップスってアプリ知ってますか?そのアプリを見てもらえばスキンケアは趣味だって言ってた意味わかると思います笑笑
People will have different hobbies. Even when something (like skincare) is considered an activity that *can* be somebody's hobby. That's a different perception of skincare than in many other countries, I believe.
@@kamekomiyamora now it could also be genetics but that’s why their skin looks so good 🤩 also most Asians in Korea, Japan, and China wear sunscreen daily as well. america is now picking up the sunscreen thing 😎🧴
Very interesting but a mask EVERY day?
I was shocked, so wasteful and bad for the environment. I've seen a few Japanese stuff and especially Tokyo seems to have soo much packaging it's so sad.
@@kashnaranee8488 The Japanese use so much plastic. Look at any of their grocery stores.
They are an island country, any more global warming and they are going to lose land to rising sea levels. They eat a lot of fish and aren't reducing microplastic contamination.
It cringed me too
oh yeah like the rest of the world doesnt use packaging for their products ? what are they packed in ? banana leaves ?
@@wajeehamaryam9631 The world isn't binary. It isn't a case of all packaging being the same.
The Japanese use a lot of plastic, they individually wrap everything including produce. That is much higher usage.
In South Asian countries like India & Bangladesh (where I'm from) - most of the people just use a face wash and a fairness cream- that's it.. Sometimes they used sandalwood mask or multani clay mask, sometimes uses natural ingredients like cucumber, tomatoes, yogurts.. If anything more- they do facials once a month.
Nah. We don't use fairness cream. Please speak for yourself, maybe? We rather go with a good skincare routine based off the best home remedies.
@@pallavipanda1453 I've never used a fairness cream girl.... I do know the mindset of majority of the people of southern asia... All they want is fair skin- although the situation is changing..
@@pallavipanda1453 shebis talking generally (like fair and lovely....its still used...in india...)
@@pallavipanda1453 why don't you speak for yourself and not all Indians, last time I checked Yami gautam was Indian. When I saw MOTS hoodie on the 3rd lady.
Ehem ARMY here 💜
Hlo armyyyy
Hi ARMY
Was searching for this comment!!
Borahae 💜
The best skin Care routine is
1.Wash your Face Twice a day.
2. Keep your Vitamin E and C in check try to take it from food and drinks first then use Supplements.
3. Exfoliate your skin With a Face mask twice a Week.
4. Stay hydrated.
5. Use a Good moisturizer
6. Apply Organic Aloe vera gel Mask Straight from the plant. Every night After Washing your Face. It works as a Moisturizer, It heels Acne scars, Dark spots, fine lines it got everything covered. Try this for one month if you have a Busy life. And See the results. 😉
Actially aloe Vera straight from the plant is not safe for the skin. The extracts that actually benefit the skin need to be properly extracted to be useful, and it simply just clogs up the pores. Plus it’s not been proven to help fine lines at all, it’s purely a humectant and good for healing burns, that’s all. As someone with eczema aloe from the plant would be a terrible idea to do, just never do diy skincare, it’s better to use proper skincare made by professionals.
Btw, water doesn’t make your skin better or free from acne, though it is simply healthy to drink
@Diptasree Choudhuri well yeah turmeric and rice water are great for the skin, I myself use a ginseng and rice face mask (not diy, properly made) but in general dermatologists advise against using aloe Vera plants on the skin because there are so many different species of aloe Vera that some aren’t safe for using on the face, though on burns and cuts on the body they’re fine
Some aloe plants are for medicinal usage and some for skincare
That British girl's voice is so soothing...
Wait am I the only Indian here who loves skin care and has a skin care routine!?
No you are not alone. Let me share my skincare routine. Skin type: Oily or normal skin , acne prone. Fitzpatrick skin type 3.
Am routine: Cleanse with just water.
I use 2 percent salicylic acid and 7 percent niacinamide.
I follow it up with a mousturizer , I am currently loving mamaearth moisturizer, cetaphil moisturizing lotion, aveeno moisturizer.
Lastly I use Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch spf 50.
PM routine: Wash my face with himalya face wash.
I moisturize. Lastly I apply a retinod which is adapalene. I am 16 and with this routine I cleared my acne.
What's your skincare routine by the way?
@@Jerryhastecup niice but the himalaya face wash could be really stripping to the skin...you could try the cetaphil cleanser if you want...it's really good cause it'll remove the excess oil and dirt without drying your skin and stripping it off its natural oils:)
I don't use it because of the hatred it got from Dr dray. I use it once a day only. I just don't feel stripped by it. I am really curious to know your skincare. Himalaya facewash is very cheap and I want to spend my money on actives.
@@Jerryhastecup oh ok then...
I start by using the cetaphil gentle cleanser...then I use the minimalist niacinamide 10% serum and follow up with the neutrogena oil free face moisturiser for combo skin and in the morning I use the ponds sunscreen on top of my moisturiser but it’s not that good I’ll probably buy another sunscreen once this gets over...
Don't use cotton for removing eye makeup, because eye is the most gentle area and using cotton can create wrinkles. Rather use a cleansing oil/milk and slowly massage it into the skin. Also the Himalaya Face Wash doesn't have a good ingredient list either.
I love forest toner so much .
As an Indian my "skin care routine": No make up removal because i dont use makeup.
After getting scolded by my mother and being lectured about how careless i am.
Wash face with himalya neem face wash and use lip balm or ghee on lips if u hv cracked lips....use vaseline or boroplus in winters.....some ppl also use gulabjal (rosewater).
In Indian routine I think even this is very much we hardly apply anything or just apply rose water
Indians usually don't have a very dedicated skincare routine....we believe in inner peace and beauty....that actually brings glow to your skin....yes it does👍👍
Well here's my skincare routine (i am indian):
1st step: wash face with facewash ( but i don't even wash face in winter i only wash my face in summer
2nd step: apply homemade toner(which is made up if natural things like aelovera, lemon, glycerine, rosewater)
3rd step: apply boro Plus ( indian brand lip balm)
4th step: sleep
I didn't even wash my face before bathing in the morning
Still my skin is perfect and glowing bcs of indian home remedies that i use when needed
😂
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Please don't put lemon on ur face....ik it comes in most of our home made skincare....but it is VERY harmful for skin in the long run cheers!🙃
@@VidaThakur well it has lemon juice in it and i have been using this for many days and there is no harmful reaction on my face so yeah it suits me
