When the American girl rubbed her eye with the makeup wipe I wanted to cry
Jaehyunsmilk On Twitter same 😭
OMG SAME
Why? 👀
@@mabelen97 Wipes are bad cuz they dont remove all the makeup off and you tug a lot at your skin. Its best to double cleanse instead.
belen valero bustamante rubbbing your eyes in general isnt good for them. It can cause wrinkles and rub your makeup or the cleaning chemical into your eyes. The Korean woman did the right thing, just holding a soaked Cotten pad to the eye for a bit and gently wiping it off, no rubbing. Some baby oil or other makeup remover and a q-tip is best for removing things like eyeliner that might be trickier to remove.

Hi chuuyaaaaa
Why is this so relatable
Use sunscreen at least
(take it as an advice from someone who regret it later)
and if you use sunscreen you need to cleanse your skin
These ladies routines are fairly short because they're already so pretty. I got a lot to fix in the mornings 😂😂
As a Korean, I am glad that someone finally talked about skincare diet in Korea. It's been a while since Koreans use minimal skincare products for skin. But I have seen quite a lot of negative comments about 10 steps of Korean skincare routine. I mean.. ain't nobody got time for that lol
Ellie Kang I think it just depends on what your skin needs
What's a 'skincare diet'??? Why nobody told me?
_PurplePebble_ it’s just minimizing your skincare routine to the basics because using too many products can also damage your skin and its barrier
Ellie Kang If it’s not a problem can you please tell me what Darcie used which she referred to as “tone up cream”?
@@nunpuiihauhnar6395 From the jar, it looks like Innisfree Jeju Cherry blossom cream. It's supposed to be moisturising and brightening.

sooo... true...It's really fun to watch different make up routines
The American girl says she has a problem with dry skin and dry patches yet she’s using a FOAM cleanser which dries out skin...I- -
She needs to use an oil cleanser or at least put a ton of moisturiser on after.
And make-up wipes :(
Also clay mask
It more so depends on the product formulation, like which cerfactants are used and the other ingredients. Foaming does not always equal stripping .
@Morgan LaBeth dry skinned people don't need to cleanse after using a oil cleanser. Only people with oily or combination need to cleanse after using a oil cleanser.
Korean skincare, whether you use one product or 20, is honestly far superior to any other products. They’re properly ph balanced for skin and they just work so well. I started getting acne at age 9 or 10. I had horrible acne through my mid twenties and then dealt with the scarring and texture problems after that. Then my skin went dry and crazy. On top of that it’s sensitive. Korean skincare turned my skin into skin that gets compliments all the time. Someone told me I had perfect skin about a year ago and I literally cried.
could u tell me what exact skincare you Follow ?
Yes please what do you use?
Yes, you should share the routine. My skin is too similar to yours. It would be helpful.
Ya please tell us. My little sister has the same skin that you did.
OKAY BUT CAN WE PLEASE PREACH HOW PRETTY THESE 2 WOMEN ARE THANK YOU
why is everyone hating on that poor american girl, i think she's just fine
@Jessica Wang maybe she didn't know about the make up wipes and the routine is her choice honestly
I think its because she said "Kardashian inspired "
I dont rlly see many hating on her. They are just advising her for over striping her skin
the la roche posay cleanser has some of the best ingredients!! some of her other products had a few problematic ones but it’s not horribly lmao
@Dien M she seems fine to me. It's just personal preference. I'm sure there's people out there who find you and me unlikable.
Both their skin look so soft and clean . That's total skincare goals
Carolina is so cute! Her big eyes are so pretty. Darcie’s skin is just wow just wow omg and she’s so hardworking.
Is no one going to talk about how perfectly the face mask fits?!
Yes, that's exactly how it fits. Doesn't it?
@@dOVERanalyst I have yet to find a face mask that fits me perfectly... usually they dig into the corner of my eyes (the outside corners), but I did find one that didn't do it. (The top half fit perfectly, but the bottom half was _huge!_ 'XD)

•put on moisturiser if I feel particularly fancy that night

9:07 The specialist at skincare centre i went taught me to foaming the cleanser+water first on hands (maybe about 10-15 secs) before put on face to clean (gentle circular motion). Instead of cleanser+water, mix them bit on hands and straight away apply to clean the face.Looks like shes doing same...Overall, i feel the technique helps to clean up my skin better (i have combination skin and prone for oily/acne)

Looooool I saw it 😂😭😭
seeing carolina say she has dry patches and then use a foaming cleanser literally hurts my heart
Twice a day
And I think the second time she didn't even use moisturizer afterwards
hey do you mind explaining this a bit, is it bad to use foaming cleansers with dry skin?
@@zoefarace6843 sure! so things that foam generally whether that be facial cleansers, handsoap or shampoos are able to foam because of ingredients that are very drying. they are added because it makes people feel clean/feel like they're doing something productive in the way of getting bad stuff, but it actually makes no difference in getting you more clean and is drying. so using a foaming cleanser especially on already dry skin is doing the opposite of what someone with that skin type needs!
caroline ah interesting thank you! I have somewhat dry skin and use a foaming cleanser and while I don’t notice a negative difference I’ll look into other types!
@@zoefarace6843 that's good! maybe your skin isn't as sensitive to it idk? I'm no expert at all, just someone very interested in this stuff but not-foaming stuff will probably be for the better for your skin long term anyways :)

Hahaha... just ARMY tingz
I feel like some of korean stuff in unnecessary like all the mists and super watery stuff. Like why would you need so many layers of diluited watered down product (water evaporates). Also oil cleansing. Yes, oil dissolves makeup and oil, but now you have oil mixed in with make up. Foam/ soap face wash, etc have surfectants, those things that cling to oil and dirt then to water to be washed off. Now you need more face wash to get rid of the oil and makeup as the surfectants get used up (think magnets, one magnet can hold only so much). Also the patting don't buy the increasing absorption theory.. If skin can absorb stuffs that easily then I'd be super plump every time I walk in the rain. Makeup wipes arn't that bad if you are gentle, and if the wipe is not abrazive, rubbing anythng hard on your face(pillow case, clothes, cotton pads, makeup sponges). Also, beware of gimicy products. Like green tea has been shown to have skin benfits, but not in amounts in like one diluted spray of water.
Joseph Cheung make up wipes are always bad double cleansing ( oil cleansing and foam cleansing ) are recommended by dermatologist no ur skin won’t get plump by the rain since the stuff in skincare isn’t the same
Joseph Cheung also I think u don’t know how oil cleansing works
When the American girl kept using makeup wipes to remove her makeup, especially on her eyes ... I was like OMG Susan yara ought to teach her about double cleanse
And I could not watch it like ughhh why do those things to yourself young lady

Yikes, that makeup wipe is not properly taking the American girls makeup off! And its aging her skin by rubbing!
Neutrogena wipes are good at taking makeup off. Also she used her gel cleanser next.
@@chinito3791 Wipes are good for festivals, but for everyday it's quite wasteful and not good for the skin to rub at your eyes like that. Ideally you should be able to remove eyemakeup without any rubbing.
@@SamarkandChan Yeah, I agree with everything you said. But she said it isn't taking her eye makeup properly when neutrogena wipes are known for being good at taking makeup.

HAITIANO BLANCO no!! dermatologists till the end of TIME will say, no matter how well it “takes off makeup” they are terrible for your skin! to add to the point of “taking off makeup” all they really do is push your makeup around. this isn’t just neutrogena but ALL makeup wipes, no matter what is on them.

@@shaanyaa plz tell me which one .-. im never able to hide my dark circles... its so depressing .-.
Meffy it depends on the colour of your skin and under eyes, to determine the colour you should use for your under eyes, you can search up “colour correcting guide” and it will show you what colours you should use according to the colour of your under eyes! personally, i’m using the BECCA under eye brightening corrector, but i’ve also tried the NYX 3C palette colour correcting concealer and they both worked really well for me! colour corrector only cancels out the undereye colour but you have to use a concealer on top of the colour corrector to make it the same colour as your face
