Guys are missing out. Proper skincare is not just for women.
I know! Why does society make them feel shame for caring for their skin?
That’s why they age faster
Agreed, as soon as they said they use soap on their faces, I died
@@lizthegreat3122 pampering and self care has always seemed like something for women in the eyes of most men. But I never hold back hahaha, I got my moisturizer, face scrub, jade roller, etc
We aren't missing out that stuff just works for us
Women have softer and dryer skin that guys that's why she had issues and if you think closely not many guys have pimples after teenage.
Although yeah we need better hair products
I wanna see the reverse now I need a guy to use women's products
Téa Jones just look up James Charles
Téa Jones yessss that would be so good we have so much things they will freak out🤣😂🤣
My husband used my products once and we haven’t bought his since.
A guy would suffer with deodorant and razors.
Abiona Redwood guys use deodorant and razors too 😂😂
I love her. She acts like a normal person and not fake or like she’s performing like a lot of the other buzzfeed people.
Same, I want to friends with her and more videos of her beautiful descomplicated self. ❤️
i never once felt that the people at buzfeed were fake so i have no idea what are you talking about
Victoria Horner this deserves more likes.
She is my favorite.
yep. she’s probably gonna quit soon since everyone who actually has talent/is likeable leaves
Can we take a moment to appreciate how good her makeup looked in those short clips?
Fatima I was just about to comment that. Her skill is phenomenal
I was supposed to comment that too. It's so beautiful 😍
Nivea isn’t exactly a gender specific product at least not in my part of the world.
She just used the products that guys around her office did but it wasn’t nessecarily gender specific products just what guys used
There is actually a men's Nivea "collection" (I'm not sure of the right term here) its called Nivea Maximum hydration and I use it all the time despite being a woman cause it's more moisturizing
@@serenabean868 exactly! thanks for watching
I was thinking the same thing. I grew up with my mom using Nivea and I do to. I think there is a men’s version. But the one she used is just the generalized product.
My name is amal
Can we get men using women's products next?
That would be too easy for them
@@malaklaachir6186 that's true

Depends on the skin type, most people should not use it
Old Spice deodorant & antiperspirant in Wolfthorn is my ride or die.

Lmao my boyfriend used all this stuff before I moved in. Now he be using Pantene and exfoliating sugar scrub and conditioner 😂

Nivea Creme is a German product and in Germany it's used by men and women - not a men's product
Well not only in Germany
I have a big tin of it because my hands get chapped from hypervigilant hand washing. I looove Nivea cream.
No one really said it was a male product she’s just using what her coworkers suggested
Yeah but the blue container is called Nivea Men. I use that one 😂
@@alquin9553 not really. The classic formula is in blue container. The one for men is darker
“If I was going to buy any female products it would have been a *little* more expensive” proceeds to show that it would be an extra 90 dollarsssss
I was expecting more actually. If you're talking about shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, leave-in, heat protectant, protein treatment, day time and night time moisturizer(face), body wash, body lotion, deodorant, sunscreen, face wash, eye cream, exfoliant(physical or chemical), face mask, serum, lip mask..... that adds up to A LOT. And still these men have amazing skin smh, maybe we need to get on their regime cuz damn
Is it that much?
Don't even get me started on African-American natural hair products and tools. Whew!
J. Hypolite who does that?!? I use soap. And oil. Toner sometimes. Masks when I’m feeling fancy. I can’t believe people use so much money and time and energy for something so unimportant (I am female).
Gerbils For Life ruclips.net/video/w54JR946gkE/видео.html
I also noticed that most of the men have really nice clear skin despite only using water and soap 🧐
Mostly true. for instance I've never had skin problems despite using this water + soap thing LOL
Female hormones 😡 I only get breakouts once a month
That's because products just make you need more products. For example, I also stopped using conditioner and now I don't need to wash as often, I'm down to once a week. Conditioner makes your hair get oily fatser. With face stuff, one dries you out so then you have to moisturize. Then the moisturizing makes you need to exfoliate. And that dries you out again. And so on. Minimalist is the best.
ChrisFarmer yes, an excess of products is actually really bad like using a 12 step skincare routine everyday should not be the norm. You can train your hair to need less washing. Your skin regenerates oils and sebum whenever it needs so when you wash your hair too much, it dries out your scalp and your scalp regenerates it with oil so it gets oily faster. Conditioner should not be used at the roots, otherwise I also find it makes my roots oily. Some people do need conditioner though. Everyone’s skin is different so different people need different things. Just because you can wash your face with body wash definitely does not mean you should. Same goes for hand soap. There are ingredients in both that can be incredibly drying to your face skin. Make sure to cleanse and moisturise. Just take notice of what your skin needs and if your skin is reacting to something badly. If your products are only used because another product has done something to you, then why are you using them at all? If your face is extremely tight because of your cleanser, you need a milder cleanser, if your moisturiser is making you break out, you need a milder moisturiser etc.
@@Michelle-yi1gh I have gone totally minimalist, I don't wear makeup any more and I wash my face with water only. If I feel like I need exfoliating then scrub with a warm towel. Nothing touches this face any more except for pure water. And wow, my skin has never been better. I realize now how getting on this roller coaster just makes you need more. Applying and removing makeup, washing, moisturizing, all this stuff just adds to the pile of crap you have to buy. No thanks. Stop the ride, I wanna get off!! 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I wanna see a guy swap with our stuff and see their hair be reborn!
I would turn into a grease monster
Maggie Meyers it would be greasy and hard to style it up.
друг you do know that there are women’s shampoos for greasy hair, right? I personally would recommend the L’Oréal extraordinary clay rebalancing shampoo and conditioner, also splashing out on the extraordinary clay hair mask is worth it 👍

Poor girl. Basically meaning that one of them probably would not dare show his high school pictures. I don't see my friends who are male going without washing their face so they barely have acne unless have disease.
Bruh saaaame (at least I hope that’s what you meant lol). I didn’t buy a face wash until last summer, and only because my face sweat so much at work. Just body wash for me, and sometimes 2 in 1, even when I’ve had long hair. Guess I either got lucky or my skin adapted to the harsh environment 😅

I may be a guy who uses some “girl products,” I do use: a wide range of Mario Badescu products for my face, Garnier Fructis triple nutrition shampoo, GF 3x nutrition conditioner, GF hair serum, Jergens ultra healing lotion.......... but I look Great
Hey, as long as you feel happy and good that's all that should matter!! It's always good to take care of yourself ✨
That's awesome, but look up Mario Badescu products, they had a lawsuit for putting steroids in their products
Don't use the Garnier! the shampoo has sulfates, and, the conditioner has silicone. I'd recommend maui moisture, or, the Pacifica pineapple curls line.
K Armstrong thank you for the recommendations
Zipporah Abdi good to know, thanks
The soap on her face hurts me
Emma Maynor I know. Those aren’t pimples. It’s an allergic reaction to the fragrance and harshness of the soap. She’s got tough skin to handle that much damage.
I use soap no pimples no rashes I'm Gucci and a girl
Aneeka Rehan I could not do that I’ve like a 4 step routine I have to do, would the bar of soap my your skin dry
Aneeka Rehan What soap? She’s using Irish Spring. Not all soaps are created equal.
Pat E yeah definitely not Irish spring that's really harsh on skin😂
Irish Spring’s slogan should be “suspiciously clean!” XD
Just because it label “men’s” doesn’t mean you can’t use it
There are actually a lot of products for men that are similar for women’s normal skin care routine. Most men just dont usually care or have the fervour to ever buy or use them.
Men’s products are usually very stripping and use strong fragrances and menthol. That’s usually the main difference
2:12 now you know what it feels like for us curly haired girls who have to brush their hair *it hurts | those who have thick curly hair like myself usually get tired from having my arms up so long* [the parts about her hair I can relate to because I have curly hair so it's typically like that after 3-5 days | for me at least]
I have thin tangly hair. It HURTS to brush. I have to use conditioner before I shampoo. It's not my arms that hurt, it's simply trying to get through the knots!
@@xladyfayre start brushing your hair from the ends up it really helps
My hair is like that every day
Guys have more sebaceous glands in their skin and scalp due to testosterone, it makes sense that their products would be more drying
I have crisp lasagna skin after using just soap sooo
I had no idea about that! Interesting, thanks for sharing.
Personally, I thought she just wasn't choosing her men carefully - like, don't ask a guy with 15 millimeter of hair what shampoo he uses?! At least try to find someone with hair of a similar length to yours

I wish I knew who anyone from buzzfeed these days is
Why does she brush her wet hair starting from the roots, when she's having trouble getting through it with the brush? Start lower and work your way up with each stroke... 🙄
Also: No, her hair is not suffering the consequences of using men's products, it's suffering from being bleached (and possibly heat-treated by straightening it regularly?). Conditioner was just masking the damage, so without it, it became visible, but that's not an effect caused by men's shampoo.

Myself I wash my body every day but my hair every other. The reason for wetting my hair every day is to reset my curls and also helps make sure any sweat comes out.
I've used basic Nivea creme since I was 15 so about 10 years and it's my absolute fav. Doesn't break me out keeps me hydrated. It's my holy grail. Ive tried so many other face creams and they all break me out
Use a wide tooth comb on wet hair and comb from ends and work way up to roots to avoid breakage.
Yay for the one guy who used Dove instead of Irish Spring or similar products. Also, as someone with chronic acne that hates dryness, there's no way I'd be able to wash my face (or most other general body parts) without using moisturizer! That makes acne so much worse and will cause pimples

@@exquisiteart6478 well men aren't supposed to take care of themselves according to society (ie "no pain no gain" or "real men don't cry" etc) so investing in self-care is usually embarrassing for a lot of men. When brushing any length of hair you should always start from the bottom to roots to avoid tangling. When going from roots to bottom you cause tangles 💖
Oh Gurl Kermit just entered the chat.
When I had acne really bad I was constantly using skin cleaning products and it kept getting worse and now that I use use hot water and a towel, no product what so ever, my acne went away instantly.

I like using Irish ☘️ Spring and I’m a female. I feel very clean afterwards .I use it everywhere except my tutee and my booty🤣 and my face.
I really like Spenser, her makeup, and her realness
Honestly, as a woman I’ve found that certain men’s products are actually really great. I use the old spice 3 - in -1 to wash my body every shower. Except in the nether region I use Honest Co orange & vanilla baby wash bc it’s gentler. I don’t use a body lotion. The 3 - in - 1 is great if my hair is super greasy or I’m trying to remove build up from too many washes in a row with my regular shampoo and conditioners, but after washing with the old spice I use a 5 - in - 1 detangling spray with Moroccan oil before brushing. So I probably use the old spice every 3rd wash. I use water to wash my face if I haven’t put anything on it, mostly just a gentle massage until the oils are evened out & some of the excess is removed. When that’s not enough, I reach for the witch hazel. If I’ve used a moisturizer it’s a rose water mist & on those days I wash my face with the honest co orange & vanilla baby wash. If I’ve been wearing sunblock it’s neutrogena spf 30 or 50 in the blue tube for sensitive skin (it also has an odd effect like oil pulling & exfoliating on my skin so I wear it at least once a week; works best when applied in small circular motions). It can leave my skin feeling extra slick at the end of the day, so on those days I use the 3-in-1 on my face. I’ll mist with rose water & then the next day I don’t wash my face, except just using water & light massage. If I feel like I need a thick moisturizing night cream, which is hardly ever, instead I use a few drops of vitamin E oil massaged into my face & let it soak into my skin over night. I also use men’s deodorant. My favorite used to be mitchem for men but now it’s the old spice wolf’s thorn or whatever it’s called, it smells like juicy fruit & the blue stick doesn’t get on my clothes. When I can’t find wolf’s thorn I go for bear glove bc it smells like watermelon. I did like the Axe Dark Temptation deodorant for a while but it seemed to sweet smelling after a while. Surprisingly, the subtle bubble gum of wolf’s thorn was a more enjoyable pick.
What’s ironic is that in Ireland we can’t buy Irish spring
