I noticed Lee van cleef has all his fingers in this show, but in "Man With No Name" he is missing the tip of his middle finger on his right hand. Rumors suggested he had lost it in a bad car wreck in 1958 or in a bar fight, but really lost it while building a playhouse for his daughter.
Did anyone else notice that the woman and kid went upstairs to her room but the kid went out her window on the second floor and trees were growing there? 🇺🇸
Just imagine if more people were caring and kept helping like the cartwrights and had good sheriff's like Roy. Now I know and understand that people take advantage of people when they keep helping they think they can keep getting away with things but my point is I believe there'd be less violence if more people were understanding caring and compassionate
The theme song used in the credits here is melancholy. Not the vibrant, rousing, galloping theme song familiarly known that celebrates the Ponderosa and the Cartwright family.
When this episode started I didn't care for the direction it was going. I wasn't going to watch the rest but I sure am glad I did because it ended up okay. It's funny. All the years I've watched this show I've never seen this episode before. Oh well. After 14 seasons I guess I was bound to miss one or two.
all of what you said , except for "sure am glad I did because it ended up okay" I'm nearly ashamed I did because it turned out so bad . what sane person would believe that the deranged psychotic boy and delusional vicious conspiring whore are magically transformed into good people all because of fartwrights shallow phony social work . these two would take years of electroshock therapy and medication and primerally , incarceration so they at least would know there are consequences to robbery and conspiring and attempting murder
Reminds me of a domestic dispute I tried helping. Tried calming the guy down. He gets violent , I defend myself and the girl stands up for the guy. F that next time she needed help I let him smack her around and walked away. No good deed goes unpunished. Learned to stay out of anything that doesn’t concern me directly
Yep, cause she will take his side when u step in...that's why cops are leery of those calls....I used to think the same way but yeah you gotta let them work it out unless there is an immediate threat of actual bodily harm. Peace and luck to ya.
The more I watch these old shows, the more I realize they were written by half brain liberals, so far detached from reality. The boy and the whore should have been neutralized from the start. Problem solved!
They've killed off a couple. Adams is killed off later. He hated his role. He's a Broadway actor, and it shows with his performances. I easily see him doing Shakespeare.
@@jeffcampbell2710 No that was Hoss. Canon lore suggests that Adam went on to Boston to start a family and had his own business and occasionally sends telegraphs to the Cartwright Clan. Hoss died of drowning saving a family from a wrecked wagon in a strong river current.

They keep saying "Scared little Boy". That "Boy" would've been married, a house, kids, working. They got married at 13 then. It only changed in the last 75 years. Four Thousands and thousands of years the kids were living as adults by 12. Today, they still haven't left home at 30. Ola Smith. What the hell are you talking about? Nobody even knows what "love" is. It's many things, and very subjective. You sound like a psychiatrist. They always define "love" as mental illness.

They even show it to a pig like Todd Grayson.
Cartwrights movie's glue your eyes to the screen each actor and actress play their part they know how to bring theses movies to life.
It is so true I can't miss one episode
Joss love his belly
Well, that was painful.
Lee Van Cleef was a plus. A small role, but an imposing one, that cowboy from New Jersey.
His presence is always a strong one. Like Clint Eastwood, he just has to look at the camera.
This show is so wholesome
These are rare Cartwrights movie's to see. You just can't see one. Must See!
She did stir the pot, when she clearly knew the truth. Poisoned the boys mind, she calls it love. Oh my oh my......
the writers of this garbage should be punished
I really love this theme song fitting some how!!! I've seen this show since I was a child. I'm 60 years old now though

Like Grayson is played by the great Allan Rocky Lane, one of the best of the B-western stars. Later he was the voice of Mr. Ed
