Always a great show. Been binge watching again from the first episode, I just highly dislike the new intro music. I like the older version. That is just me.
Hoss may not had the looks that Joe and Adam had but it's what is on the inside that counts I loved Dan blocker he lost his life way to soon he made bonanza I like Joe and Adam too but hoss was My favorite ❤grew up watching these guys and still watching now. It was one of the best westerns ever then the big valley wagon trails was a good one 2 and don't 4 get the lone ranger
When the stationmaster in this episode began to talk, I recognized his voice but could not remember the actor's name. A quick search told me it was Will Wright. When I found out he was in Bambi, I knew that meant he had supplied one of the voices. Based on the type of live characters he played, I guessed it had to be the owl. I looked up his filmography to see if I was right and was not too surprised to read that Wright indeed had supplied the voice of crusty ole Friend Owl. Now, when I watch the movie, I'll know what the person supplying the voice looked like. I was surprised to see his life ended in the same year Desert Justice aired, 1962.
Claude Akins appeared in Several episodes of Bonanza, This episode, The Sam Hill episode and The Deserter. Great Actor. Bonanza featured many great actors and actresses, they also recycled many through various episodes where an actor appears as different characters. Besides the 4 stars always in the same clothes (so they could use stock footage to save money and production time) they also recycled many of the ladies dresses
Good episode but did anyone else notice at the beginning joe n Hoss are loading the hay backwards..? Most farmers/ranchers bring it IN on the wagon and UNLOAD at the barn..lol it didn't look like dirty stall hay to me either.. 🤠🤠🤠🤠🍺🍻👍
🙋♀️ Hayes! It’s Ron Hayes again! 🥰 He’s in a LOT of these old westerns! 🤠 He just came on the scene, 🎬 dunno if he’s gonna be good 😬 or bad 🤨 yet? 🤷♀️ i’m gonna guess *BAD!* 😡 LOL OK, on with the show! 🍿 Be beck soon to either be _RIGHT_ 😉 or _EAT CROW!_ 😝 HAA!! 🤣💋
The best actor in the movies little joe and his brother. But most of all in the movies is.adam he act mostly in the movies does he have any girlfriend in real life 💖💕
All of the brothers were great but my favorite both looks and personality was Michael Landon. I was a big fan Little house on the prairie too p. A lot of the Bonanza episodes later on have a pre Little house feel. I have a feeling they may have been ones that Michael Landon directed. Some of the dramatic music in some of the older episodes was also used in dramatic parts of Little house.
The first episode that came to my mind when I read this was #23 from the 4th season titled A Stranger Passed This Way. When looking for it, though, I saw the title of another episode in the same season, #14 titled The Jury. Viewers need to know Hoss is no bumpkin but has a sharp mind that doesn't always show.
Does anyone else hate the opening music... I suppose they weren't allowed to use the actual music due to copyright laws... the first few episodes uploaded had it, then gone... oh well!
Many people say Little Joe is good looking but I think Adam is so fiiine !!
I think Hoss is hot, too!
Claude Akins was a great actor. Very versatile.
Great actor Claude Akins. One of the best.
Another great episode of Bonanza!!!!
❤ Claude Akins ❤

Every episode has always been great.
The terror of Virginia City 🤠

Hoss Cartwright , born philosopher
Back then, US Marshals sure said "Hold it!" a lot, lol!

I like how Claude Akins was channeling Tommy Lee Jones during this episode!
I agree
Tommy Lee Jones was a kid in knee pants when Claude Akins did this. But I see what you mean.
Hoss said Southern California was not going to amount to much, Well......Maybe. Lolololo......
Wesley Lau was my grandma Betty's cousin
Great episode. Thanks a lot for uploading and sharing this old series.
Best regards luck and health.

Michael Landon is so gorgeous, he doesn't even seem like he could be real.
It's interesting how one moment Ben is near the stagecoach door (15:22) and miraculously Hoss appears!
Emmett dowd real tough marshal
25:25, "....that's an order old man!!!

🤠🤠🤠🤠🍺🍻👍
They had it in barn they must be taking to one of their herd. One need to load it on the wegon to take other places I guess 😁
Super Twist ending.. yea man! Bonanza Justice!!
He looks like Alan Ladd (Shane)
🙋♀️ Hayes! It’s Ron Hayes again! 🥰 He’s in a LOT of these old westerns! 🤠 He just came on the
scene, 🎬 dunno
if he’s gonna be
good 😬 or bad 🤨 yet? 🤷♀️ i’m gonna guess
*BAD!* 😡 LOL OK,

She fell in love in 3 secs, good writing lol.
The Apache were blamed for everything! They weren't in California. So far as I can tell
You're right on all points! The Apache were blamed for just about everything. They didn't move toward Southern California until WW II.
Dear @@SugarSugarCreek
😱 What? Are the Apaches even responsible for WWII??? 😁😜😘
Best regards, luck and health.
This episode had a nice twist.
Adam so handsome.
Yes

Everyone's into Adam but i prefer Eric. I love me some Hoss. (Yes, Eric is Hoss's birth name in the show lol)

Southern California 😂
Hi 🙋♀️ this is a very nice 👍🏻
He's not an animal treat with dignity. Little does ol' Ben know, the man is a filthy animal.
Spoiler alert
Good episode because of the great Claude Akins. The history lessons by Hoss and the Miss Stroessner are, well, a bit off--along with the Apache quip.
MOLLESHDOS AD POEFFTERS, IF IT'S NO SONNY FAE 'MOVING ON' ! ! ! HIGH PHAEBRIËL (👋) AND UPWITHITS WITH OOT END AND GALORE FIR THE UPLOAD 👍 👍 👍 👍
Beans and fatback.... must have been some serious farting going on that night.
I love Bonanza they were real family good Boy's !!!
Ha ha lol. They ate that often on trips
7:40 - "dAVE" IS... Alan Ladd?
What's with that theme score? That's not the real score?
And gun smoke. Matt Dillon was good also
*32:20** CUTLER IS GONE!*
so many people with bad teeth in this episode. Thank God for modern denisty.
Does anyone else hate the opening music... I suppose they weren't allowed to use the actual music due to copyright laws... the first few episodes uploaded had it, then gone... oh well!
I hate that music too.
Me too. I love the original bonanza theme music!
h ha
*THE 1-PUBLIC COMMENT LEFT HERE IS MISSING?¿*
*1:51** THIS IS FAKE PONDEROSA THEME SONG!*
this was the theme in the beginning of the series
This was the original theme song

Joe. Is getting to moody. Don't like his attitude at all.
Never liked Claude Akins as an actor.
Omg he was phenominal
You’re nuts
