- This Timeless TV Western starring Lorne Green, Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker and Michael Landon, is one of the most popular shows in television history!
DESERT JUSTICE: U.S. Marshal Emmett Dowd arrives at the Ponderosa to take ranch hand Dave Walker to face trial in Los Angeles. Concerned by the way Dowd treats Walker, and believing the man to be innocent, Adam and Hoss decide to go along to make sure that Walker reaches Los Angeles alive.
The whole ‘Ponderosa’ thing is such a fabulous concept. Lake Tahoe, the mountains and forests are stunningly beautiful. Hop Sing cooking for you and all the money you need. Gorgeous, manly men with perfect manners and ethics. Still watching Bonanza after 50, 60 years. Like Dallas and the Ewings, the Cartwrights are compulsive viewing. They don’t make programmes like these anymore.
I bet when they got back to the Ponderosa and told Ben what happened, he probably thought: "Welp, that's another dirtbag I hired that conned his way onto our ranch."
Hoss is one mean Boss.....miss him very much......died so young.....RIP good man and woderfull actor you are.
They used this same storyline too often, the good news is that they pull it off every time!
Claude Akins is one of my favorite western actors. He plays amazing roles on Bonanza, the Rifleman, The Tales of Wells Fargo, Gunsmoke, The Big Valley, and more
i was a kid back then and somehow bonanza kinda helps me keep perspective . the old days are gone i fear. bonanza and all them old shows i grew up with , well they remind me of who i am, where i came from.
Adam sure looks good in this episode.
Pernell Roberts was gorgeous
I recently became addicted. Thank you for uploading:)
This ❤️ Beautiful lady is the spitting image of Audrey Hepburn.💕😔
The back ground music is classic....made this even better....Love Bonanza...they were all great actors.....cool dudes may i say.
I love the shot of Adam, Hoss, and Ben marching Down the street in unison…cut to Cutler the accomplice as the Cartwrights walk back into the shot. It’s a show of power.
As I aged I got more into the westerns , I love this show !
Thanks for showing me the greatest of hits of waylon. And all classic tv.
Loren Green was unique on how he looked. I envied his hair style and suave looks.

.....”I reckon you can sorta chalk it up to our weather,. Yes'm. You see; we got so dang much weather out here and so much dadburn land we gotta whip, we just ain’t got time to be put’n things straight for each other”..- Hoss the Philosopher.
As a ( Several Generation ) So. Calif, native! Hoss was on to something, with his comments!! LOL
