Finally got to meet Stephen at LVO, an awesome guy. I had signed up for his course in the early days of 9th and it felt great to meet a pillar of this community in person!
Always like to see Stephen go head to head with the regulars. Really highlights how good communication can make 40k even more enjoyable, especially if you don't know the armies.

And to Mr. Box thank you between both of your shows I have gotten back into 40k last year after a long hiatus (3kids under 3) Nick and crew you guys gave me the motivation to get back into painting and modeling Stephen you and your crew brought me back upto date with the rules and all of what is going on. Unfortunately no the only shooting on the banesword was the one shot from the lancer and armored might is a shooting phase only strat so no benefit against melee
In Stephens first turn charge he charges the tank straight through the wall. I know infantry can nice through the terrain but I thought on a charge you can't go through you have to go around. Is that not the case?
Mortarion + PBC completely wrecks my DA dreadnought castle with a darkshroud. Free stealth doesn’t matter, cover is less important ignoring the hit roll and the -1 dmg on the dreadnoughts is ignored. Brutal and gg Death Guard
The amount of Google Ads in this video is insane. I got an ad every 6-8 minutes. As soon as Google knows people will watch a video until the end, they arent afraid to spam ads... That being said, great game!
Using one unit to cleanse 2 objectives seems kinda gamey. They’ve never let you use one unit to complete two instances of an action. It seems like an obvious oversight in the rules
Why is it an oversight? Have you considered that it might be on purpose to help those factions with minimal units to help them out when it comes to play the mission?
I find it’s good habits to check your opponent’s stats to ensure you make the right decisions at the table. There are far too many data sheets in the game to remember all the units and weapons so there isn’t any point trying. Most important thing is ensure you get your army rules on point.

infantry moving through ruins is an exception to any kind of move, including a charge move.

Why does the guy pitching the academy to us keep asking how stuff works?
