    the warriors don't gain stealth from the chameleonic enhancement, only the bearer gains stealth(full unit needs the ability for it to apply). the unit does get the benefit of cover

    What about mellee warriors. Adv n charge is good on them. And with the neurolictor buff and strat can be 1+hit and 1+to wound reroll ones

    Yeah since this video came out, the list is 5 pts over 2k. He stated giving the Winged Tyrant Chameleon but the caption said Stalker (which would make it 2k). Id rather dump Hunting Grounds and ensure one of the Primes have Chameleonic.

    You mentioned that the Lictor in the centre of the DZ was to hold the objective marker in the DZ and that it has a 50mm base so placed in the centre of that Objective nobody could contest it deep striking because of the 12" exclusion zone rule the Lictor had. However, I'm sure that according to the rules you cannot place the Lictor actually on top of the Objective Marker when you end the move. I know it won't stop the denying the enemy if you move it to the side.
    I was made aware of this rule when I placed a Monolith on the objective marker to try and deny the secondary mission Area Denial during a game. I was informed it couldn't be on top of the Objective Marker. Just a thought. Was I told incorrect information.

    • @chrisj9628
      @chrisj9628 10 месяцев назад +11

      The rule that stops you from putting units on top of objective markers was explicitly removed in the Leviathan GT pack months ago. So if you're playing the baseline core 10th rules, it's still in effect technically (though nobody at local stores I've seen uses it). At competitive events using the GT pack, you can put units on objective markers again just like in 9th.

    • @mkulchar
      @mkulchar 10 месяцев назад

      There is no rule u can't be on objective

      Hi Chris, Thanks for the reply. I have only just started 40k in 10th edition and the guy was showing me the rules from the core rule book. He did mention that the tournament rules were different, like the first turn deep strike. He said that rules for general play should be done by the rule book and not tourny rules. This I have found seems to depend on who I play to be honest. I haven't really used tourney rules because I am still learning at the moment with no tourney participation expected just yet. Some times confusing so I always ask what rules we are playing before the game to be sure.
      Why do tourney change a core rule anyway?

    • @Jebzisere

      Hi Mkulchar, page 58 core rule book hilighted, note section fourth note states it. This is what was pointed out to me.

      They're representing the 2 units of VRL's. If you waited 30 seconds, you'll hear them referred to as such. I imagine they didn't have the appropriate amount of models painted and, for the sake of it just being a tactical guide, they used models of similar size as stand-ins.

    This whole list is quite sketchy.
    It doesn't have enough staying power I feel.
    In a vacuum... sure, some of these thing look pretty on paper...
    But when compared to the mobilty and lethality of Eldars,
    The overwatch from Tau
    The high thoughness of any spacemarines variant
    And finally, and ironically enough, the board presence of the guards...
    You are on the back foot in every aspect.
    You are like a rules lawyer hoping the point system hands over a win while being nearly tabled every games... and that's too christmas land for me
