I think a unit that could have a lot of play in this detachment is the Parasite of Mortrex. Since you can generate rippers using that model, you don't have to worry about deep striking them where needed. Get a cheeky kill on an infantry model, then use that as a beacon for where your melee warriors go next. Then, as the rippers die, they continue to feed models to nearby units. Parasites are only 20 more points than rippers and have the opportunity to generate 4d3 rippers if the ovipositor gets a kill every turn
Neurotyrant is a monster.
Bringing back two tyrant guard would be dope.
Came to mention this
Great format for going through and understanding each of the detachments. Look forward to seeing more as other codexes get released
YES! This Detachment is my JAM! Can't wait to hear what you guys think.
Zoanthropes are the best "Elite Infantry" that the Nids have.
You guys completely ignored the broodlord for the enhancements. S5 genestealers are nasty and not bad for the other ones either.
We just call them combines here in the States, just drop the harvester part.
Very nice, this is what I plan to learn. Even though I get stomped when they focus my harvesters.
1 CP gets you +1 to wound whenever they kill one.
Looking forward to the Vanguard video! 😁
Loving this, only issue for me is the price of the haruspex to buy
Yea I was gonna grab one but £50 seems a bit much
I'd buy another 2 if I could FIND them to buy for love or money
@@luckyskaven13 I've got two but I want the Exocrines 1st. It's a toughie though and I see a future with magnets involved. Looking at the destructions it looks possible.
Been looking at this detachment today in fact, think everyone is sleeping on it atm
Probably because Rippers are so hard to get, Haruspex has been in shaky stock and high price, the other two just released models.
Meanwhile the vanguard invasion one applies to so many models, and is bringing back visions of Kraken Genestealer hyper aggression.
I wish you would of said which stratagems were battle tactics. Also, wonderful video, and I hope yall put out the games for these list? Cause I can't wait to see.
the only one that is battle tactic is rapacious hunger - 1cp instant regen in your fight phase
New to 40k and picked nids. I'd like to see what yall could build with the norn death and lictor. Will be following yall now
Neurotyrant /w Tyrant Guard has a few interesting looks. Right out the gate +1/+1 is available.
Yeah. When I saw the +1/+1 I looked at neurogaunts and thought "Why GW, why?", but it's legit good on tyrant guard and was only held back by not having a way to heal them.
i think the Parasite of Motrex is an auto include in this detachement. Being able to break the rule of 3 for Rippers that can heal is nasty!
My norn emissary’s are going to take haruspex’s for a walk to the objectives
Guys I enjoy the content and the knowledged gained, but I find the audio on your videos very poor.
I found the Neurotyrant plus 6 tyrant guard is insane in this detachment. Unless they kill off all the guard, its like I have a Tyrant Guard printer running.
Guys does that one Strat mean since it says before last model is removed you could regen that unit and stop it from being wiped, including a monster just bring it back with d3? Norn emissary for instance?
No they FAQ'd it. You can't use the strat on the unit that was just destroyed.
@@Chester2194 oh great take something alway from an already underpowered aspect of nids. Classic
@@lukeboss534 agreed
Looking at this as thousand sons knowing my shooting won't be enough and my melee is pants :(
Not sure if something changed, but I got this coming in at 2050 points.
Need more volume, can't hear you.
😂😂 the hot mikes are tough fr
BEHOLD THE HIVE MIKE!!
Can the harvesters heal themselves??
How does regeneration work in a simple deathmatch type game if there are no objectives?
Neurotyrant can also bring back 2 tyrant guard
Everyone keeps throwing this comment but isn't the NeuroTyrant a monster?
@@Juxsin well.. i read the rules from the codex.... and yes you are right... my bad thought
@@danielbex2069 all good, I thought I read something wrong since everyone kept saying it
all nice and so...but is it srsly necessary to put 4 comercials in a 26min video? like...what i remember about VT the most, compared to other cool 40k-related channels is this feeling of "every pause in talk is used for Ads"...
