Havent watched the video just yet, but Assilmlation swarm is one of my fav so far, won every game with this one. My Norn Em had been such a unit with the regen. It can only be better since i currently own psychophage and two rippers. Only got 1000 point army atm but been so powerful in my games
Assimilation Swarm is my favourite detachment! Invasion fleet is cool too though. That said in my list i mixed a little the units and played on the Feed the Swarm ability to regenerate Endless swarm basing my strategy on regenerating swarm of termagants on the frontline/objective. All with support of 2 tervigon and 3 units of zoanthrope for 6" aura of invulnerable at 6+ and the FnP aura of the psicofage.

Great video! I was able to take Unending Swarm 2-1 at an RTT, my only loss was due to deploying incorrectly and clocking out, moving 120+ models is no small feat.
A couple Psychophage can be a huge problem for Morty/Magnus .My current list: X1 Neurotyrant- Biophagic flow enhancement X2 Norn emissary X1 Norn assimilator X3 Haruspex X2 Psychophage X2 Neurolictor X1 Ripper swarm X6 Zoanthropes
What about Secure Biomass on a 3 piece Ripper Unit? autowounding on those weak things buffs them alot, but i guess the missing AP will evaporate the potential damage again.
The list looks amazing. Investing in that many pyrovores outside TableTop simulator is...well, don't do that without a 3D printer, you could get a whole new army for a cost of 9 pyrovores.
It is quite unfortunate about the Pyrovore cost. I've been lucky throughout my collecting I've picked up 6 of the old sculpts for the cost of 2 of the new ones.
When you are saying battleshock down to x, do you mean the neurolichtor's aura? The reclaim biomass is not regenerating the destroyed unit? fights first genestealers seems amazing, is it? Why do people keep saying "battle tactic" stratagems for hive tyrants?

If you overwatch with hive guard can someone modify there hit roll so if they hit on 4 on overwatch and -1 to hit them will it make them hit on 5 or do nothing cause it’s overwatch
I ran a list for the first time this weekend with some fun games and I only have three pyrovores and it’s clear I need more but is 9 really necessary? Just the three that I had put in their work. But the 90 extra points for 9 vs 6, could it be used elsewhere. Also my favorite interaction I played with was a Tervigon and 20 gaunts. I paired them up with a haruspex, neurolictor, and then later on a ripper swarm that my parasite of Mortex created and it wasn’t until round 4 that my opponent was able to take out the group. Also what’s people’s thoughts on deathleaper. I used him in both games I played and he did some work and dished out a few battleshocks but overall fell kind of flat.
Not Every list needs 9! But I've found success with 9. A unit of 3 can take quite the punishment and If one stays alive they can become two and then 3 again quickly.
Speaking of flyrants and foot tyrants (or swarm lord) - what should I build with my kit from the battle force box? I have that box and leviathan. Thanks!
You don’t have a harridan right? I would love to see a crusher army with a harridan, one of each hierodule and norn, and a neurotyrant with the oc3 enhancement just cuz there’s nothing else to do with the 15 points. Then use all CP on savage roars

When I used the psychophage they just ignored it till my left threats were dealt with and they erased it

Hey, can you regenerate a body guards model if the leader is still alive or does it count as its own unit entirely?
Once just the leader is alive, he is his own unit. Can no longer regenerate the bodyguards models.

If I have 2 tyrants can I use will of the hive mind twice on rapacious hunger after spending a cp on it. So I can use it 3 times on 3 different units?

The Balance Dataslate is coming out soon, I'd wait for that. If I had to pick one now, I'd pick the foot Tyrant.

In 10th, I've been undefeated 2/4 RTTs (20+ players). Haven't had time for a GT yet. In 9th ed I was ranked #1 Nid player worldwide for most of 9th.
