Like even with Jordan, he shouldnt have put the mawloc in shooting range so far up when it has no invuln save like that. I dont understand why games workshop killed the faction so hard.
Holy crap what a game, Jordan's perfect secondary draws made this game an uphill battle for Taak, but the Dark Angels held the line and sent the hungry xeno horde screaming to their deaths. Taaaaak, you are still the man brother.

@@RevanR It's harsh but I gotta agree, Tak's had a terrible run of this series, not just in die rolls (which in Game 1 was just abysmal, I could only feel sorry for the guy) but it definitely feels like he keeps over-extending in recent games.
I just love these videos formats and editing. As a ~7 year fan of the hobby, this channel's video formula has been my favorite for batreps and I am absolutely loving the lore campaign going on here. Would love to see more, like black templars + sisters versus a chaos incursion, etc. Please keep on keeping on!

I am so sorry we missed that Deathleaper has precision. Hard to play a perfect game of Warhammer 40k but still, we will endeavour to try and be as close to perfect as possible. Going to need to give Jordan another go in the future.

There will be Guard in the final battle, but probably not what you are expecting. We've learned a lot from producing this mini-series and hope that in the future when we get the chance to do it again, we can involve a lot more factions in the story.
Back when I used to play Tyranids, I thought Guard where a lot scarier then Space Marines. Then again, I don’t know if anyone around the shop actually knew what the meta was. 🤷♀️
This game shows how the DWK are one of the best melee units right now, and Dark Angels overall are very flexible army with great melee and ranged army lists.
A humble request: please do not use ultrawide lens on the overhead camera at the table. It causes a crazy fishbowl effect at the edges, especially when you crop on top. Other than that, amazing production quality as always, not to mention a thrilling game as always. Play on!
I love the narrative of this battle. Tyranids started getting the right possition at the right time and inflicting some heavy losses. But from there the Dark Angels fought uphill to an awesome and remarkable victory showing why they are the first legion.
This series thing is really cool, but I wish the imperium armies were not almost all space marines? 4 out of 5 are some sort of Astartes. I wish they had replaced one with imperial guard, it would still be 3 out of 5 space marines, and we would get some more variety with the imperium forces.
I get that! We have learned a lot from producing this mini-series and will take this feedback to planning for the next one, if we get the chance to do another one.
I dont understand why Jordan didnt take any advantage of his innate precision attacks on like half of his army. Theres honestly no reason azrael should have survived that game.
Sorry. Realizing we made a mistake there and in talking to Jordan it seems like there was some fatigue. Siren's Call is a big production. While it is very challenging to play a perfect game of 40k, we will endeavour to be as accurate and as close to perfect as we can be. Thanks for reminding us of that rule.

I REEEEALLY really hope there’s gonna be some Imperial Guard vs Tyranids eventually, because if its mostly Space Marines vs Nids, thats a bummer.
