This battle was amazing. The pure firepower of the Aeldari is scary and Morty, holy crap he just really doesn't like Eldar.....maybe he was Hungry for Timtam.
What an awesome game. Both players are great sports and brought an infectiously positive attitude to the game. It was wild how deadly these turns were. I also loved how Jack narrated his own moves and thought processes; made it a lot easier to follow along.
Nice to see the child of chaos with his signature army! Can't wait to see the sorts of interactions between the speed and stopping power of the eldar against the resilience and board control abilities of the death guard
Its even funnier, when you go to play at a GW store, and they won't let you use the original Maugan Ra, as there is a new model out, but your fine using your 2nd edition Warp Spiders 😂

I was listening to this match...by the start of round 2 I had it on the big screen, popcorn and soda in my hands. What a match. This will go down as one of the greatest matches of 2024.

This might be my favourite match you've done. Tycho's energy combines with Jack's energy to create a match where both players are just a joy to watch as they try to win while also being good sports and celebrating the other's victories and triumphs. This is exactly what 40K should be, and as a fellow aussie I was devestated to see Jack lose. Better luck next time mate!

Thanks for the great game, loved Jack as a guest, the perfect chill energy to compliment Tycho. Can’t deny it, I kinda want to get into Eldar after seeing those beautiful paint jobs
Honestly the Turn 1 isn't just an Eldar problem, but a core rule problem that GW doesn't want to admit how strong going first is (especially if one is a shooting army) and give Turn 1 a special rule that models aren't removed until the end of the round, to better balance it and simulate the initial clash of battle lines.

Lets see Drazhar: 10 Attacks, WS 2+, S7, AP -4, D3, full re-roll VS Mortarion: T8, 18W, 3+/4++, -1 Damage, and 5+FNP So in order for Drazhar to actually kill mortarion he needs ALL of his attacks to hit on 2+, ALL of his attacks to wound on a 5+ Mortarion then can not make a single armor save and fail every single FNP With those odds i can say that 20 termagaunts also can kill Mortarion.....

You know, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen Tycho play any faction other than Death Guard. Has he ever? +1 for Baron of Dice. He lives less than ten minutes from me and he’s a great guy who deserves all of the success in the world. He’s shown me around and it’s amazing - he really does love wargaming and TTRPGs and it shows in his products!
I recognize that Australian guy from his channel...he also play chaos demons...I'd like to see him play with his demons sometime. But since I like eldar and chaos, this was a very interesting match-up for me to watch.
This is how i picture playing my eldar when i eventually start the army One group of each aspect warriors with a phoenix lord leader Then a couple wraith lords with spirit seers! So close to what i picture myself doing

I hope the multiplayer will kind of be like Star Wars Battlefront 2, where there’s classes the main ones I see being a classes for normal Marines are Intercessor/Assault Intercessor, then Heavy Intercessor, Chaplain, Apothecary, and an Eliminator/Supressor or Infilitrator. And then for the equivalent of reinforcements in BF2 you could accumulate points to play as things like Sternguard Veterans, Bladeguard Veterens, Different types of Terminators, Dreadnaughts etc.
People never realise that a compass points North, meaning the magnetic pole of the compass is attracted to the magnetic south of the world. Aussie and NZ are actually on the top side of the world!
I'm sure Major Kill is properly on a do not fly list by now. Jack is far more representative of a pretty standard Aussie bloke especially a younger digger. 😎

Love how jolly these epic fights are! Great energy and Im learning so much as a beginner, really easy to follow along!
This game was a great reminder as to why I hate playing against Aeldari. Tycho's pain in the first few rounds was something I felt in my soul.

Tyco kept winning and everyone in the office collectively said "Okay, you've had your fun. Bring in the Eldar."
HA! Well I also brought Daemons into the studio and gave them the choice! But they all said... Yep. Eldar it is!
