Miniwargamer Dave forms a Chaotic alliance with Child of Chaos Tycho to face Tanya the Warmistress and Mubin. Mubin is playing Tak's Ultramarines and Guilliman while Tanya is using the studio's Lion El'Jonson and Dark Angels. Tycho brings the Death Guard and Dave is rocking an amazing World Eater's force.

What a great game. Surprisingly lore accurate. Lion smashed Angron face in. Then Mortarion cuts down Guilliman only for him to stand back up and clap Mortarion back to the warp.
And then Guilliman gets run over by a tank.
proceeding with the funnier conclusion of Gulliman being run over what i imagine to be three nurglings in a trenchcoat driving a tank and Angron being blue balled yet again

Seeing Angron come back with the potential to win the game was like a slasher movie scene.

Not only is this a killer tabletop idea, this cast of commanders is stellar. Seeing Tanya, Mubin, Tycho and Dave all around the same table is a downright treat.

I love the enthusiasm that Dave and Tycho bring, but their constant "Chaos Voice" is not at all enjoyable to listen to. Maybe the audio issues make this somewhat worse, but I find myself turning down the volume whenever Dave starts to do his thing.

This was fantastic. The sheer Chaotic energy from Tycho the Child of Chaos, and Chaos Dave was legendary. Truly a battle for the ages. Just need Fulgrim to return soon to establish who the strongest Chaos god is.

Faces off against Mortarion in a visceral back-and-forth brawl before the daemon primarch seemingly kills him... only to get back up again by the grace of the Emperor, sending his brother back into the Immaterium by caving his face in with the Hand of Dominion in a heroic second wind!
...then he gets run over by a car and dies.

I was gonna say, it feels weirdly quiet.
I was running to the comments trying to find someone who also noticed. Its so odd why would it be done on a match like this?
I also noticed that. The last few episodes have had some trouble with both sound (music being quite loud or missing altogether, as well as a bit of white noise in the mics) and light in the interview, being so bright that both Tania and Dave facial expressions gets lost.
I think they're still getting used to their new level-up technical kits.

Lol the exact same thing happened to me but it was 3 carnifexes into a tau coldstar commander with shield drones, and nothing got through the shield drones (9th edition)

I was just watching the episode with Angron vs the Dark Angels saw comments about a four way match to only find out that video just aired on RUclips! I'm hopeful that dice rolls are a bit more even this match as that episode was a blood bath for one side of the fight. My vote is for Team Imperium!

I feel like every game with Mubin in it should have a Mubin-ment phase, where everyone has to roll to be Mubin for the next turn. Mubin succeeds on a 1+, everyone else succeeds on a 6+. So, Mubin (without dice roll difficulty manipulation) is effectively guaranteed to be Mubin, but it'll be funny if he has to share being Mubin with other players. 😅
The four plus invulns taketh and eventually giveth. That was some fun rolling!
Last time I played 10th edition it was actually my World Eaters versus my opponent's Death Guard.
Angron is terrifying, especially if you manage to bring him back to life. Though Lords of Skulls are also frightening.

Great game guys but one thing you got wrong of note, Angrons counter attacks against the Lion should only have been wounding on 4+ not 3+ (Angrons higher ST but not double and the Emperors shield gives a -1 to all wound rolls against Jonson (they added that to his profile in 10th, making him CONSIDERABLY tougher than he was in 9th!)
He may have been within the 6 inch -1T from death guard on turn 2.

So in rounds 1 and 2, we learned that when melee faces ranged at range, melee does not win, regardless of faith.

Just a note, Angron wounds the Lion on a 4+ with the Strike profile, unless there was a +1 to wound involved that I miss. (3+ normally, -1 from The Emperor's Shield that the Lion has.) Also, the Lion definitely should've picked the 4+ FNP against MW on Turn 1.
Didn't bug me at all obviously, an amazing game and all four players were a great watch!
Don't forget about -1 toughness from deathguard to make him t8 vs Angron S16 (assuming he was within 6 inches for round 2.)
