your hair journey is honestly so inspiring, and i feel like it really goes to show how versatile our hair types can be! it can look shorter you can stretch it to look longer, it can look wavy or coily or just whatever! i too have noticed wash & go’s don’t work for me and leave me with more fairy knots than anything
Excellent video! Very helpful the way you broke everything down and explained how you adapted to changes in your circumstances and learned little by little how to successfully care for your hair. This is the best natural hair journey video I've watched in my 8 years of being natural👌🏾❤️
I’ve recently discovered a deep conditioner that I’m I love with. It’s the Adwoa Beauty blue tansy mask. Omg it’s AMAZING! I highly recommend using it with at least 15 minutes of heat. Made my hair sooo moisturized, shiny and defined! If it’s available in the UK you should definitely give it a try.
Your hair is absolutely beautiful as are you! My hair got very long when I locked it but not when I have it out. I love my own hair long but as I age it is thinning, mostly around the edges. Seeing your gorgeous hair I am inspired for my own. Glad I found you here on RUclips . Blessings!
What do you eat to have no hair loss or enough protein and iron in your body to grow your hair?😊 My hair grows depending on wether I have enough nutrition in my diet or not. Love your videos 💗💕💕
Thank-you for your comment! I definitely did! I just wanted to share this as I think it's really easy to get discouraged along this journey. I believe that there are always solutions to the problems we face
This is a great routine. Iv used natural ingredients and other homemade products i upload on my channel to grow my hair after I did the big chop, and now i’m amazed at how fast my hair has been growing. Following a regimen and being consistent is key. thanks for sharing this. your hair is beautiful
My hair stays wet for at least 10 hours when I do wash n go's as well. I think it is because we have low porosity hair. So I stick to twists that I leave in for 48-72 hours and then wear a twistout for the rest of the week and then prepoo prior to washing on day 7 or 8 and deep condition and start all over again with leave ins in the order of liquid, cream, oil. Great video. New subbie here!
I am experiencing a hair plateau I started taking care of my hair properly late January this year I am using chebe powder to retain my length.can u give me tips pls 🥺
Hi Aisha Thanks for your comment :) All of the videos that I post are related to length retention so please have a look at them for support. Wishing you the best on your journey
@@ifshesopleases do u think using hair butter on the ends of the hair or grease is better or it depends? Also do you do anything to your scalp? like oils, massage etc. or did u find it grew better without all of that. Finally, how many years did it take you after you cut your hair to collar bone length to get to tailbone?

If you want more info on products, watch Afope Atoyebi. She has a video on "why your hair is not growing" that might help

Im ngl, when i was younger, Suave did wonders to my hair when i was (not to say it doesn’t work now, I just haven’t used Suave since I was young lol).
Beautiful and informative. Thank you

What japanese hair products did you end up liking from your time in japan?
Is it okay to do braid outs 1 time per week or every 2 weeks? And wear the braid outs throughout the week
Do what works best for your hair
I wish kinky textures didn't have to protective style to grow. 😔
You don’t necessarily have to, your hair is going to grow regardless . Maybe won’t retain as much length .
beautiful hair dear
Thank you 😊
Just subbed! You seem so sweet! 💕💕
Thank you so much!!
Hi
I am watching ....attentively
Aww thank-you Lorraine! I hope you enjoyed it!
So how often do you trim it now?
Around once every 6 months :)
Thanks
Thank-you for your comment!
Olive oil and coconut oils aren’t sealing oils they’re moisturizing oils. Enjoyed your video and journey
Thanks for your comment!
@@ifshesopleases thx you for receiving it 🙏🏾💜
But I thought oils don’t moisturizer, only water does
@@quicampbell8415 moisturizing oils, water and other products all work together to moisturize.
😘😘😘😘😘😘
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Do you recommend loc then blow drying and then braiding?
She uses the LB method meaning leave-in & butter
I don't blow-dry so am unable to recommend, I'm afraid x

Hi Debs
Thanks for your comment!
I am really sad to read your comment :(
I hope you can learn to love your hair. It is beautiful at every length
Check out how naturally_nica stretches her ends. She does some kind of a Bantu knot to it, hard to explain but it works
Will do, thanks Lola
