Girl, having TBL hair and the patience to do mini twists I applaud you! They look lovely when finished.👏💜 The most I can do is maybe eight twists, and braids ... forget about it!🤣

Thank you so much for this! I have since incorporated the side and middle parting tips, and twisting direction on the top of my head- absolutely genius!!! I only do 10 mini twists at the top of my head, but incorporating this has been very helpful. (The rest of my head is in 10 medium/ large twists total, as I refuse to spend a second more than an hour styling my hair! 😅)

Thank you for these tips! The parting for styling (side part one day, middle part another, etc.) was one I'd never heard before. I usually keep my hair in mini twists, but very, very small. When I do them bigger, I will try this. Thank you again!

This is a very thorough video; thank you for sharing! My hair is only MBL, and I can only tolerate doing mini twists once a year. I've already done my quota for this year, but I'm definitely going to keep all this in mind the next time the urge arises!

Thank you so much for all the tips! And I'm glad you had a good time in Egypt. ❤
I'm at the point where my hair is getting longer than I'm used to having it and I've graduated from the thrill of wash and go's all the time so it's very timely for me.
All the diagrams you've added really solves all the problems I've had with mini twists in the past. 😂
Especially since the twists on one side of my head tend to look noticably flatter and smaller even if I keep the parting as consistent as I can.
Glad I have a technique now for incorporating different twist sizes. 🎉❤

Wow!! Wow! I loved this. The parting technique is especially important and impressive. I have very thin hair in the frontal side of my head as well and usually leave those out because they break off. I will certainly use this technique. Thank you. I did learn and it was quite helpful!

One question though. Do you have any tips for how to sleep with twists in on shorter hair? My bottom row of twists always get bent out of shape either from the hair tie or the scarf.

I’m doing many twists for the first time this weekend. My only concern is my roots matting if I wash my hair with them in. I want to keep them in 6-8 weeks at a time and I may be able to go without washing them. I really don’t want to braid them at the root to prevent matting because it may take longer. Not the diagram! 😂
