I wash my hair 4a/4b every week in about small/ medium braids sized (not mini) and found the process revolutionary! I’m done with the wash, deep conditioning and detangling process in an 1hr 15mins to 1hr 30mins max. Currently my hair is in mini twists and I can’t ever imagine washing my hair in these 😭 At the end of week one i’m going to remoisturize with a light weight leavin in and an oil mixture then wash at the 2 and a half week mark. I get the struggle of balancing school with up-keeping your hair all too well but found increasing the frequency of my wash days reduced the stress of it overall. Love your content girl ❤ You’re such hair goals!

This is how I have been washing my hair the past months on medium size twists. Makes wash day quick, Detangling easier and definitely using waaay less product and the growth is unbelievable. I am still to do tiny twist if ever 😂. Loving your content ❤

When my hair was half the length you have I did mini twists too and after 3 weeks, when it was time to take down it was like Knott city 😭😭🤣

Thank-you so much! Hm, to be honest, I think my hair texture doesn't really allow it to unravel. I don't do anything special to prevent this
maybe try braid not too tight instead and loose on the roots if want
I love mini twists, but mini twists don’t love me sadly. I’ve been doing mini braids on my natural hair for the last two months and that’s been working well.

Using less product! Most definitely. That may be the reason I'm 10 months (mini braids)and stl going
I thought it was just me. I washed my hair in mini twists. Never eva eva eva again! At take down my roots were a tangled, knotted mess. Misery 😢. Considered big chopping; it was tangled just that bad.

@@ifshesopleases Same to you sis. Lesson learned. Thank you for your content ❤️. Because of you, I am striving to become a fulltime finger dentangler. Much better than I was, but I still have a ways to go to get to where I no longer use tools (combs, brushes). For me, it's a process. Blessings!

I feel like 10 med sized plaits would work for your hair if you don’t want the time commitment of the twists. N can wear the plaits in a bun.

Having that type of hair I would never put those twist in my hair. Matting will definitely occur and you will loose hair. That’s crazy
why you made them so small it's going to be hard to take down wow you gonna lose a Lotta hair
I wanted a nice look and thought it would be better. I thoroughly enjoyed the look but they were definitely too small for me. They are larger now :)
