@Johndrumful305 The Bugeras sound great, but I think people are referring to is mainly about build quality. I have no experience since I haven't owned one or gigged one. All I know is that at least the one I tried sounded good.
@Procyon58 No I wont. reason is that I'm not cut out to make tutorials. They consume huge amounts of my time just to video edit, and I don't feel that's where I want to go with my channel. I rather spend that time writing music. There are some awesome tutorials out there already. If you need info start off at the andy sneap forum.
I'm buying it! Just because 6505 combo is so heavy that the shipping to Colombia is more expensive than the amp itself, and this head is all tube with free shipping on eBay.
@inagerli My vague knowledge in german(3years in school) make me think you say : "great playing as always, but are you wearing makeup?" And thanks, but I don't wear makeup... I'm already too good looking.... yeah... right
Bugera rules! I've got Bugera Trirec for 3 years and it's perfect, and when i put new EL34 into, then it sounds like a beast! But i want Bugera 6262 now, cuz i realy like how Peavey 6505 sounds.
@fearedse this is true. ive owned my bugera 6262 for over a year now and gigged many times with it. no stock tubes, i do have to say im not impressed with their tubes, but with some el34's in there of a quality brand, pre and power section, it's been a fantastic head and never let me down.
Sounded awesome- I ordered a 6262 last week and I'm expecting it tomorrow. Hoping to really put it through its paces. It probably won't be my primary amp (unless it is better than I expect), but I really love Bugera products
I use a Bugera 1990 head, it blew up on me once about 3 months of using it every other weekend at gigs. I got it fixed and it has been amazing ever since. Its been about 3 years since then.
This tone is a combination of the guitar/amp and also the bass tones as well.. So I do hope some people keep that in mind before purchasing this amp expecting the exact same tone you're hearing in this video
@grantorrone thanks man. of course I'm promoting my songs, that's the whole idea with testing all these amps. you can check out my guitar recording tutorial to learn how I work.
Grabbed a 6262 a few days ago together with a Bugera 412. The cab isnt the best of worlds but this setup sounds killers since i am coming from a katana 50w. whole setup costed me 300 euro's. For that price its insane. Amp head only was 250 euros (Netherlands secondhand). I bet the sound will be better with a proper cabinet. Also the amp I use is loaded with the stock Bugera Valves. A valve upgrade can also improve the sound of the head. For a budget conscious mind this setup is really a best bet!. Try to get a Infinium head or one of the later models, since the early models used a plastic item that would burn at heat. Ive read that past 2009+- this lil'something was upgraded and it shouldnt catch any fire.
I know I may not be the person you want answering you because I'm not Ola BUT as a fellow guitarist looking for good tone and not having to pay thousands.. this is perfect.
Had a 6262 for about 9 months now, juat had it serviced and 4 of 6 preamp tubes were replaced, and man it screams... Cheapest tube amp ive ever bought, it rocks out pretty fukn hard too🤘
@@kosmicnkuz yes, I gigged it in the weekend and it kicks butt... My YT channel has the whole set recorded, albeit on a shitty phone but the amp sounds killer... Please feel free to check out my gig with EnforcE Live at Old Habits Bar West Perth 31 08 24. Rock on friend 🤘
@@kosmicnkuz for practice with the band I use a 120w Bugera 2x12 and for gigs it's either a Marshall slant quad or my oversized Mesa B cab ... The Mesa cab sounds best tbh but I'm using my mates Marshall quad in the gig video from the weekend
@DarkZpartan9 if you have this amp then try to get the lead channel knobs to match the knobs in the beginning, or if you're trying to get a similar sound from another unit, then google this Bugera amp so you can see which equalization parameters (mid, low, high, ect...) are which on this amp here in relation to the video intro (of course, pause if you need to) to gain a sense of the eq used as it was here, and of course try and match it to your unit of distortion.
Depends on your guitar rig. If you have solid tube head with solid 4x12, you can go for SD Blackouts or Distortion(i prefer Blackouts because they have massive low end boom, palm mutes sounds really huge), if you have bit low cost rig you can go for SH8, sound really cool on everything. Highest passive output, SH8 Invaders are used in NILE, BRUTUS, DEATH etc. really metal pickup! For me is SH8 more oldschool and bassy "woom" with nice round/war sound. SD AHB are more modern for me.
Ohhh... The tuning is C Standard, I've learned it by ear... Great song! I own a Bugera 6262 combo and sounds killer! I just made a cover for Possessed using it, hope you can check it out! Cheers!
@punk4life1029 depends on whether you need seperate EQs for your crunch and clean channel (6262) or you have no problem with a shared EQ section for cunch and clean (6260)
@Paulko89 i had once a 6260, andi have to say, its not very easy to handle. you have to find the spot where your eq's start to work, and then it's bedroom volume, just doesn't sound very good. my tip is to put a volume pedal in the fx loop. so you can turn up the master without destroying your house ;D ( btw, my 6260 broke down, it was some early serie)
They've actually fixed the reliability issues with these amps. It was only the first 6-7 months that they were produced that had issues. All the "Infinium" amps are fine.
@FromTheVoidd your decision. i'd take the 333, but it comes down to your likings and style. the 333 is more versatile, that's what you can tell for sure. think of the new trirec too.
@CoolKabbage just for the control. you know, the volume pot is horribe in at low volume! the eq's don't react, then if you crank it 2 millimeters, your ears fall off :/
@XFXHITMAN Yeah the very first models had a plastic clip on the end of the transformer plug which would melt and cause it to lose connection to the pcb. My 333xl is over 2 years old and came with the wires soldered directly to the board(the fix). It was the very first ones out of production that were plagued with the issue. It was a simple issue anyways, but the internet likes to blow things out of proportion almost as if the amp would melt it's own guts.
@democheparte The marzio's won't fufill that roll very well, so I recommend the Blackouts, as they have a higher output than the EMGs and a more modern tone which seems to be what you're after.
@Dojom1023 an OD like the Maxon or Ibanez tubescreamer makes your sound more compact and tightens the low end, so I guess it wouldn't help, maybe a compressor could do the trick ...but quite honestly I have played the 333XL and I don't think it lacks low end beef, maybe a different Cab or Guitar could help you to get a thicker sound.
I think the Bugera 6262 and the Peavey 6505 sound pretty similar. What do you think? In my opionion, it sounds it great! Im just assuming that most people talk trash on it because it's not as known as peavey and the fact that the 6505 is used by the majority of metal bands out there.
@Dimitribujiashvili yes it comes stock with bugera's own 6L6 tubes. And 6L6 or EL34, one is not "better" than the other, they serve different purposes, Think 'generally' el34's having a more scooped (not overly just slightly) british sound while 6l6's have a more midrangey american feel to them. I can't go past 6l6's more 'modern' metal, metalcore, hardcore etc etc but thats just MY own tone. Try everything out and see what you like :)
@lagiator It depends of which kind of rock you play. I own this amp and I really love the Crunch channel, it has enough gain for most rock and heavy rock (with hot pickups).
@givemeajackson If you put a volume pedal in the fx loop, you don't actually crank the tubes when the master volume is cranked. You need a true attenuator for it. Unless you mean use a volume pedal for better control, then I agree

Great amp and song!!! Could you please make a video with the Silverblade Hellhound 20 head also?
Please do a video on the 333xl. I'm looking to purchase that amp.
I love my bugera 333xl, and I've thought of getting a 6262. But when it comes down to it, you have to have a 6505+, period.
Could you make a tutorial about mixing ?
@Snapsa100 no, they mostly copy peavey ( 333 = triple xxx, 333xl= jsx, 6260 =6505/5150, 6262 = 6505+/ 5150 II) also the copied the recto and the ac30.
Excellent review, good amp at a great price!!!
