    I only live on an 1.33 acres, and always wanted a tractor, bur got by without it. Been here 39 years, and I just got my new ck3510se. No more moving trees by hand, no more rube goldberg inventions to lift heavy items. I just kept telling my wife to put on my headstone "Mike would've another 10 years if he wouldve had a tractor" it's not the size of the land that dictates a need for a tool, it's the job(s) you want and need to get done, regardless of the tool. And a tractor is a long overdue tool in my tool chest. Oh, fun video by the way. Tnx

      Thank you for the comment... yes, we are neighbors. I actually subscribe to your channel. I know Cowlitz River Rigging. I bought my backhoe from them. $4300 consignment and basically a year old and never used. Your review #104 of the dealership... I recognized all the implements etc... anyway, thanks for the comment and keep with the videos... I am learning some good things from you. Thanks.

    Congratulatios, Tim & Tricia for buying a brandnew Tractor. Having a NEW unit is the only way to go, it will last&last and serve you folks very well. The warrenty is very important, and no sense in buying somebody's hammered, abused, and unpaid for or repoed, overpriced unit. Used tractors are way overpriced with a diluted warrenty. I have 3 tractors for my 3 acres and side work. Considered your choice but got a Massey-ferguson 1736 power-shuttle (two brake peadals, clutch, gas pedal--- ALL POWER , no howling , super-super quiet, 12 × 12 gears and instant forward-reverse action. ( not bragging just couldn't pass it up, was only 22,000$) reason--- sat on show room floor for 2 years. A kubota mx5200 tlb was #1 tractor , just a plain jane 32,000$ unit, mostly just for digging & the big stuff ( manual 8×8 shuttle) and super quiet. #3 is a 1988 Massey-Ferguson 21hp. 3200$ hydro-slack- o-howl-matic with just a 3 point and a dozer blade. You guys might have the best "all around unit" fer "getting it all done". I just dont like hydro units unless they are cheep to buy. I stuggled for way too many years with out tractors (maybe it's why I have 3 and looking-saving for #4). Just part with 6 or 7 thousand & get that BACKHOE , you folks won't regreat it. At 59 years old I have Officialy wore out 15 shovels in my life time-- one shovel==400 tons of dirt ang gravel. A tractor is a great tool (Plus impliments) for being selfsuficiant and Very productive. So "kids" have fun with your new tools and be safe.

      Donald, Sorry for the late reply... 3 tractors is a dream. I actually looked heavily at a larger shuttle shift. I have driven bigger tractors agriculturally and use the separate rear brakes for many situations. I do miss that ability with the hydro. Looks like you got some great deals... pretty impressive. Massey does make a great tractor. Thanks for the comment and watching. Enjoy the time on the tractors. Tim

    When I was shopping for a new tractor, I researched & tested John Deere, Kubota, Mahindra, and Kioti. I even went to the trouble of creating a spreadsheet to compare features and specifications. Kioti came out on top in every category. I've had my DK 4510 for almost three years now, and I love it!

    • @basicswiththepetersons9076
      @basicswiththepetersons9076  3 года назад +1

      Sounds like you did even more research then I did. That is a great way to make sure you get the right tractor. I looked at the DK4510 before getting the CK3510. Sometime I wish I had a little more power. I love my Kioti too. Thanks for the comment.

      @@basicswiththepetersons9076 I, too, was looking at the CK3510; but my brother-in-law (who has SEVEN tractors) told me: "You can never have too much horse power!" So I got the biggest tractor I could afford.

    I have a 2017 CK3510 and love it. Great tractor. Don't take your mirrors off - you will regret it; however, if you do, let me know and I'll buy them from you.

    • @basicswiththepetersons9076
      @basicswiththepetersons9076  3 года назад

      Geremy, Great thought on the mirrors. I really don't use them much, but when I need them, they are very helpful. The Kioti is a good tractor. I have been very happy with the purchase and have gotten a lot done with it. I have 228 hours on it and things have gone very smoothly from the beginning. If I ever do decide to remove the mirrors, you will be the first to know. Thanks, Tim

    Good Luck with the channel: I have a CK 3510 after retiring from large JD tractors and other utility. I never thought I would buy a foreign but all mid tractors are foreign mfg/built. 400 hrs and no major problems, just one hyd leak I tightened and no problem. I do all my own maintenance, I do use Kioti filters. Best of luck from an old Washingtonian living in Northern MN.

      Bob, thanks for the encouragement. I am glad to hear that you do your own maintenance and handle some fix it jobs. I use Kioti filters as well. Great to hear from someone that is familiar with the Washington. I will put together some more tractor videos... those are the fun ones. Thanks for watching.

    I've watched a crazy amount of videos on tractors....everyone seems to say what you're saying the ck3510se, is far and away the best tractor for the money on the market. Thanks for the info! ( I'm in northern NH so I'm going with the cab model for snow moving)

    • @basicswiththepetersons9076
      @basicswiththepetersons9076  3 года назад

      Thanks Nick for watching... I know my research and my needs pointed to the price point of the Kioti. I have been happy with my purchase so far and would do it again given this same circumstances. A cab would be really nice...especially for dealing with snow removal. In the Salem, Oregon area, we have very, very little snow, but lots and lots of rain. A cab would be nice in the rain. I hope you enjoy your purchase and it gives you many years of enjoyment or tractor therapy. Thanks, Tim
