Best comparison video I have ever seen. No brand bias at all! Plusses and minus's on both.
I recently bought a compact tractor. In my area, I had Kioti, Kubota and John Deere to choose from, all 25 hp models with front end loaders. Kioti closest, 10 miles ,Kubota, 20 miles and JD 30 miles away. JD, I looked at them, my opinion, too much plastic and cast aluminum. and the farthest away. Kioti, closest, but a very small dealership. Least purchase cost, best lift capacity and height on the loader. Impressed with the tractor! They only had one in stock with a cab(which I did not want) and I could not even order what I wanted, right down to the tire tread pattern. What was sent to them was what they had for sale. I bought a Kubota, Dealership was the largest, I was able to select the tire tread pattern and even had an option for larger dia. tires. Able to have the lower 3 point lift arms replaced with ones with extending ends( SO much easier to hook up 3 point equipment), Rear remotes installed. Free 1st service and Zero % financing.
Dislikes, Heel/toe Hydo pedal, prefer 2 pedal drive. Range control lever is too far forward on the left fender, clothing, coats etc. catch on lever when getting on the tractor. Fuel fill placement. Hard to fill without scratching the paint.
A left side fuel point would be a nice addition. I like where the tank is located, I live in NH., and it can get cold enough for diesel fuel to gel in lines when the tank is not inside the engine area. I am a retired Dairy Farmer, we had IH and Ford tractors with the tank in the engine area, and Case tractors with the tank in back of the operators seat. Fuel lines on the Case could gel, not the others. Though the down side to that is condensation can form easier in the engine area and fuel conditioner needs to be added. For me, I will add conditioner, vs gelled lines.
Love my Kubota so far! My opinion, look close at your Dealer option's! Parts and service, not just spec's of the different Brands or model's. A tractor purchase can easily outlive the original owner! Children, grand children can use it, if it is properly stored and maintained!

Wow! Thank you for writing all of that @erictownsend4236 I really like all of the information that you laid out. I really would have liked to go Kubota since they are by far the closest dealer to me. They have a great dealer network and I have done business with them in the past. I just wish the capacities would have been on par especially given the cost difference. Now, that certainly may come at cost on the KIOTI because I have a story that is developing right this moment that I am trying to work out. Really, it is a VERY silly thing but to me it is a PAIN in the neck, what I have going on. Actually when I make a video about it, I likely thing EVERYONE will think I am crazy unless they have dealt with it themselves.
I had never really thought about the fuel location and gelling. Makes a lot of sense. My wife and I nearly 20 years ago honeymooned in Portsmouth NH and Portland Main! Want to go back so badly. I have some channels that I want to visit up that way (hopefully in the near future). Thank you again and enjoy the Kubota!
I also was shocked that they couldn't order what you wanted.... that seems CRAZY!

I am also going to buy another tractor. I have had only Kubota, bx23 and a svl65. I loved the bx23 but soon discovered how seemingly cheap they make them and yep they are glad to sell parts... the svl65 was fantastic did not feel cheap and worked hard. I sold the svl65 and looking for a durable tractor that can lift (not crazy) pallet of firewood, move dirt gravel...I need a in-between tractor/skidsteer. I do not want to break the bank either. Thoughts on the pricing you seen/quality. Thanks.

@professionalinspectionserv9468 honestly my dream machines would be a mini Ex and a skid steer as both of those units would be better fitted for my propery. I love having this all in one machine and if you watch some more of my recent videos, I have been putting it to work! As far as pricing, I am not sure you can beat a tractor like Mike or I purchased. Lots of capability there and while not cheap, it is still less than a new CTL or Mini.

Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed watching it. I purchased my Branson/TYM 2515H almost 2 years ago and it is an awesome tractor, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I only regret not having the 3rd function remote added at the time I bought the tractor like you did so I wouldn't have to add it later for a grapple. I noticed in this video that the Kioti has a Bungee cord holding the 3-point hitch together out of the way, while my Branson/TYM came factory with holders and pins to hold it out of the way. This video takes away a lot of guessing on my part because I always wondered what the differences in the 2 tractors were. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video, my wife would also like to thank you for the video because now I definitely want the backhoe for mine in the future.

I sure appreciate you coming and watching! I think you made a great decision on your machine! So the bungee you see is only for the hydro lines going to the backhoe. Keeps em up higher so they do not hit the ground. I am not sure if this is normal or something my dealer does. Hahaha…. Good video. I'm a TYM owner, but I like to see comparisons, and the differences between them and other brands. Yall should have talked about the engines a bit. That TYM/Kukje A series is all mechanical, and bit easier to work on, with no ECMs or wiring harnesses to worry about. At the same time though, you don't get all the sensors a motor with an ECM has, so you have to pay more attention to how your tractor feels and sounds, to make sure you don't overheat it, or cause other issues. If you're an old tractor owner this is how it's always been, but for new tractor owners, who are only used to the vehicles they drive, sensors might make sense.

Great comment and that is certainly something that is attractive about the Branson engine. I know that initially I was very interested because of that very thing. You do bring up a good point though that unless a person is familiar with diesel operation, you may have to indeed rely upon Over error codes. If I were going to go with a larger horsepower engine, I think I would have been more inclined to go with the Kukje engine to keep it as simple as possible. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.!

4 years ago I was in the market for something to take over for the JD 630 & MF 35. Did due diligence on comparisons and found Kioti to have more included options than the others. Sold the MF 35 at auction and got >$1,000 more than I bought it >20 years ago. The JD 630 .... kind-a sits in the barn looking pretty and gathers dust. Tim-the-Toolman Taylor got it right .... "More Power!!!" The Kioti RX 7420 does just that.

Nice review! I had ordered a Kioti CK4020 about the time this video was released, and the TYM was next on my list. Since I didn't need the backhoe, I splurged and spent $$$ on the cab SE model instead. No regrets at this time, but I still have implements on order and yet to arrive before I really get into using it. Primary job will be a 66" hammer flail and wood chipper, so went with the 40hp for some extra PTO power. A plus for your Kioti CK2620 choice over the TYM is the ability to up it closer to 35hp if you know to search YT videos on how easy that may be while still having no DPF system to worry about. Another difference I really like is the controls next to the seat, with arm rests for support, without having to reach out all day. I guess running 100 hours or so on a John Deire (new correct spelling since they came out of the DEI closet, thanks to Robby Starbucks) 110 TLB hydrostat spoiled me a few years ago!

The KL4030 has slightly less lift capacity, but has better reach beyond the front of the tractor at full height. If a dealer does enough volume they wouldn't have a problem giving you the loader you preferred. We build the units from crate and have dozens of CK's here with different loaders. You shouldn't be stuck with one option.

    • @oakiewoodsman

I bought a Kioti 4210SE. It has the loader but no backhoe. (Which i wish I had gotten with it). The only thing I have not liked about the Kioti is the pre- screen on the radiator! The screen openings are to large. I use mine to do a lot of mowing and brush hogging. And the grass and seeds that being stirred up plug the radiator 😮up quite often! Causing me to have to stop and wash out the radiator quite a fee times year! Other than that the Kioti had been an amazing purchase. I've never been on a Branson tractor. But I am going to purchase a smaller machine and I am sure I will buy another Kioti! Even though I have family working at our local John Deere dealership! And I can get a discount on a green machine. Both have what I would call advantages over the other in different aspects, but both are completely capable. Similar warranties, similar in price. I need more ground clearance - would be interesting to know which is higher including subframe which drops down quite a bit on both. @@oakiewoodsman I have a long gravel drive and small gravel lot that needs attention. I also have some dirt work at my house I plan to do this fall. Next spring, I plan to bushhog, till, and plant a sunflower field for doves this spring and leaning toward a 35 or 40 engine. I maintain some trails which I am currently using my zero turn. I was just at the Kioti dealer about 15 min. from my house and he confirmed your statement regarding the loader from Canada. Because of the dealership being close, I am leaning towards the Kioti but nearly pulled the trigger on a TYM last month. To be honest, if the TYM dealer was closer, it would be a tough decision but....I think the Kioti in the 20SE series has a lot a feature which edges out the TYM.

    • @johngoldfuss1994
      @johngoldfuss1994 9 часов назад

@@oakiewoodsman Rather than trying to explain it I made a short video . But now it looks like there is no way for me to upload it as a reply so I will try to explain. The 8N has the right and left foot break petals both on the right side and they are a fairly solid linkage that turns a shaft that goes straight into the break drum expanding the shoes. This shaft runs right along the rear axle and is supported at both ends by the break housing at one end and the transfer case housing at the other. Attached to the shaft at the transfer case end is what could be described as a large ratchet pawl and on the case housing is plate with a row of teeth along one side. So to put on the parking break you push down on the break pedal and then reach down under the seat next to the rear axle and turn the ratchet pawl into the teeth to lock it in place. Then you can release the break pedal and the break will stay on and you hope it is tight enough to hold . If you want or need both breaks on you need to then do the same thing for the other side. To release you just need to push on the break peddle an let it up. The hardest part of that is remembering to do it because the tractor has more than enough power to move with the break on with only a slight loss in power feeling and this will ware out your break shoes quick. Go ahead ask me how I know! :)
I must say I like the Kioti's method the best of the 2 but the TYM's is still not that bad. 😁

One thing that I’m seeing more and more of with backhoe attachments that are annoying to me is when the backhoe is locked up into its transport lock position…. Many of them don’t pull up into a vertical’s position. They are always hanging low at a 30 degree angle from being vertical. I have a JD 3046R Cab tractor… I love the vertical transport posistion. However I do wish it had heavier duty swing cylinders and heavier duty stabilizer cylinders. As well as the releasable latch lock. But my boom and dipper and bucket have plenty of power. There is a newer generation of my 375a backhoe that fixed the anemic swing pistons, and stabilizer pistons. And the newer generation also has way less side to side wobble that I’ve experienced with mine.
