Great video.
Great job.
Are y’all coming back to RUclips?
Hoping you guys start posting more videos!
Any tool that saves you back, is worth every dime. That 800 dollar splitter saved you thousands in doctor bills down the road!
What happened to these two! Did they just stop making videos?
Love your farm and would love to see some updates on how y’all are doing and how the Kioti is doing!
Just found your channel and was looking forward to seeing more videos! Hopefully yall are coming back to posting!
Between the music and you both talking over each other it was hard for me to listen to. I was hoping to hear more about the tractor… but that was like a side note. You could do a much better video.
Love your Wifes...... Only Buy What we Need Mentality ! lol........She is Very funny 👈
She will never let you rest on that tractor, you know that right? Anyway i have a good story, this year my wife bought us a 2001 JD 6400 S Diesel 110 HP she had it certified, lwt me negotiate bottom dollar, My friend , I have my the perfect wife, she said no damn way im moving that shit by hand 😂, she has dresses too, and sews my Bluejeans lol, and can drive that sucker really well, she moves slow, rarely wrecks nothing, Thank you Jesus
I only live on an 1.33 acres, and always wanted a tractor, bur got by without it. Been here 39 years, and I just got my new ck3510se. No more moving trees by hand, no more rube goldberg inventions to lift heavy items. I just kept telling my wife to put on my headstone "Mike would've another 10 years if he wouldve had a tractor" it's not the size of the land that dictates a need for a tool, it's the job(s) you want and need to get done, regardless of the tool. And a tractor is a long overdue tool in my tool chest. Oh, fun video by the way. Tnx
good video get rid of the background music
Thank you so very much; you inspired me to try this method. I just bought enough to make 40 twelve inch spikes for my medium size (4-5 ft) container fruit trees. I also ordered the drill to make the holes in the dirt. Great Tips and Video!🙂
I loved watching you 2 on this video, you two reminded me of my Wife and I. Love it. I'm shopping for a 2nd tractor I have a 4610 Ford but I need a smaller one to get back in to the woods a little easier. Thanks for the review.
You know, you’re definitely going to need to add a backhoe to your list of attachments!
Does NIKE sponsor you? Asking for a friend.
No nooky for you buddy.
$55.00 per month for garbage?! Wow! I'm in the deep south, and folks around here complain about $10.00 per month for weekly garbage service! BTW, I converted an IBC tote into a manlift for the FEL on my tractor.
Ya... Oregon is a state where garbage is greatly frowned upon. IBC tote to a manlift. That is a great idea. I will look into that. I have a bunch of trees that need help along with cleaning gutters. Good idea. Thanks for the comment.
YOUNG MAN , H S T TRANMISSION DON'T HAVE THE POWER , LIKE > GEAR DRIVETRANMISSON HAVE ! . H ST WILL DRIVE U NUTS WHINE ALL THE TIME ! 1 , 2 , 3 RANGE H S T TRANMISSON BUT GEAR DRIVE TRANMISSION HAVE 8 SPEED ALOT BETTER TRANMISSION ! THAN H S T TRANMISSION JUST WANT HAVE THE POWER / WHAT GEAR DRIVE HAVE ! NEED TO USE : SHELL ROTELL 15 - 40 DIESEL OIL AND DONALDSON FILTERS !
Very nice. Your story on the tractor reminds me of my purchase. Almost two years and 10 implements later it has been a pleasure to own this CK 2610 hst
I'll have to keep my eyes open for that model when I make the decision to buy. For the next year, our 23 year old college graduate son is living at home and he enjoys splitting wood, so I can't justify right now, but there will be a time...just like the tractor
🚜👍 Wow! That little chipper is a work horse!!!🇺🇸🍺
Yes... I am amazed at what my wife puts through it. In all truth, I think she puts a little bigger than it is rated for. I kind of baby it, because... if it breaks, I have to fix it... she doesn't worry about fixing, just shoving wood through it. LOL. Thanks for watching... Also, I wanted to ask you where you got the backhoe bucket without the teeth? I will comment on your channel as well, but I have several ditches that need to be cleaned out and having a bucket without the teeth would sure be nice. Thanks.
Hard but satisfying work! Great job!
Luther, Thanks... you are correct. It seems to go really slow, but we are making headway. It is very satisfying to see what a difference it makes. Thanks for watching and sending a comment. Tim
Nice video!! Keep them coming. Can you do a video on your 3 pt carry-all?
Thanks Austin, I actually have all the photos and videos from making it. Yes, I will get it out. Got the frame at Christmas and spent any spare time over the next 3 weeks building it. I will try and get it done soon. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ti,
I've watched a crazy amount of videos on tractors....everyone seems to say what you're saying the ck3510se, is far and away the best tractor for the money on the market. Thanks for the info! ( I'm in northern NH so I'm going with the cab model for snow moving)
Thanks Nick for watching... I know my research and my needs pointed to the price point of the Kioti. I have been happy with my purchase so far and would do it again given this same circumstances. A cab would be really nice...especially for dealing with snow removal. In the Salem, Oregon area, we have very, very little snow, but lots and lots of rain. A cab would be nice in the rain. I hope you enjoy your purchase and it gives you many years of enjoyment or tractor therapy. Thanks, Tim
I have a 2017 CK3510 and love it. Great tractor. Don't take your mirrors off - you will regret it; however, if you do, let me know and I'll buy them from you.
Geremy, Great thought on the mirrors. I really don't use them much, but when I need them, they are very helpful. The Kioti is a good tractor. I have been very happy with the purchase and have gotten a lot done with it. I have 228 hours on it and things have gone very smoothly from the beginning. If I ever do decide to remove the mirrors, you will be the first to know. Thanks, Tim
@@basicswiththepetersons9076 Sounds great. Thanks.
We are about to get the next storm Thursday, Feb. 18th. Snow and Ice. It's nice to see the Kioti doing some work. I'm looking to buy a tractor. Thanks for the info.
I hope things fare well with you during the upcoming storm. I know I have really enjoyed my KIOTI. Good luck with the tractor search. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Wow, that storm really made a mess. Imagine how much more work and how long the clean up would have taken without the tractor.
Yes, the tractor makes all the difference especially with the grapple. I’ll continue to use the combination to keep cleaning up the rest of the property and storm damage. Thanks for commenting and watching!
🌟🚜👍 That is a lot of cleanup to do. You sure made quick work of all that debris. Great job on the video!👏🍺🇺🇸
We really have just gotten started on the clean up. Our main road was urgent. It will take us weeks! Thanks for commenting and watching!
🙌🏻 Awesome! Thanks
Thanks! How are you doing in your neck of the woods? Did you get snow or ice? We got ice on all of our trees causing mass tree and electrical loss. We haven't had electricity, internet, or cell phone for the last 4 days. Hopefully you are doing better.
@@basicswiththepetersons9076 Oh man! That’s terrible! We’ve been very fortunate. We got about 9” of snow. Fully expected to have to fire them up, but haven’t. Our worst issue, has been a herd of elk hanging around.😂😊👍 Hope you get power soon!🤞❄️🇺🇸
Hi Peterson’s, following you guys from NC. Really enjoying your videos. You guys remind me of how my wife and I go back and forth over ideas, purchases, etc. Looking forward to watching more of your journey. Tim, what is your opinion of the Kioti so far? Been looking at that model for a while now. Going to purchase something this summer and trying to decide what brand to go with in the 35 hp range. Thanks.
Hey, J Boykin...thanks for commenting. You should see how we make decisions off camera. She usually wins! Hope everything great in NC. Thanks!
Love your energy and ideas. Keep up with the videos.
Thanks Tony, It is really Tricia's energy and I just am along for the ride. :-) Anyway, thanks for the encouragement.
Being your own sanitation Engineers along with the truck ,trailer, tractor, and totes it all makes sense. Doing the math ,minus the machinery wear and tear ,time & effort sounds like fun. Having them there pallet forks on the tractor is a huge back&time saver. The tractor grapple is a very usefull item also. Just gunna hav ta slap a back-hoe on that thar tractor sum-day. Good vidio and thanks for all the practical applications and insight.
Donald, Yes, the forks are very handy and I use them all the time. Tote cages of firewood, pallets of wood pellets along with garbage totes... life is a lot easier with them. I actually do have a backhoe for the Kioti. Got it about a year after I bought the tractor. Found it at a dealer as part of a consignment. It was the right model with 2 buckets and $4100. I was shocked and jumped on it quickly. Once the weather gets dryer, I will put some videos out using it. I am so glad I got it. Thanks for the comment. Tim
Just tuned in and subcribed, like your enthusiasim. GBWY.
Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate the subscription too. Tim
Congratulatios, Tim & Tricia for buying a brandnew Tractor. Having a NEW unit is the only way to go, it will last&last and serve you folks very well. The warrenty is very important, and no sense in buying somebody's hammered, abused, and unpaid for or repoed, overpriced unit. Used tractors are way overpriced with a diluted warrenty. I have 3 tractors for my 3 acres and side work. Considered your choice but got a Massey-ferguson 1736 power-shuttle (two brake peadals, clutch, gas pedal--- ALL POWER , no howling , super-super quiet, 12 × 12 gears and instant forward-reverse action. ( not bragging just couldn't pass it up, was only 22,000$) reason--- sat on show room floor for 2 years. A kubota mx5200 tlb was #1 tractor , just a plain jane 32,000$ unit, mostly just for digging & the big stuff ( manual 8×8 shuttle) and super quiet. #3 is a 1988 Massey-Ferguson 21hp. 3200$ hydro-slack- o-howl-matic with just a 3 point and a dozer blade. You guys might have the best "all around unit" fer "getting it all done". I just dont like hydro units unless they are cheep to buy. I stuggled for way too many years with out tractors (maybe it's why I have 3 and looking-saving for #4). Just part with 6 or 7 thousand & get that BACKHOE , you folks won't regreat it. At 59 years old I have Officialy wore out 15 shovels in my life time-- one shovel==400 tons of dirt ang gravel. A tractor is a great tool (Plus impliments) for being selfsuficiant and Very productive. So "kids" have fun with your new tools and be safe.
Donald, Sorry for the late reply... 3 tractors is a dream. I actually looked heavily at a larger shuttle shift. I have driven bigger tractors agriculturally and use the separate rear brakes for many situations. I do miss that ability with the hydro. Looks like you got some great deals... pretty impressive. Massey does make a great tractor. Thanks for the comment and watching. Enjoy the time on the tractors. Tim
When I was shopping for a new tractor, I researched & tested John Deere, Kubota, Mahindra, and Kioti. I even went to the trouble of creating a spreadsheet to compare features and specifications. Kioti came out on top in every category. I've had my DK 4510 for almost three years now, and I love it!
Sounds like you did even more research then I did. That is a great way to make sure you get the right tractor. I looked at the DK4510 before getting the CK3510. Sometime I wish I had a little more power. I love my Kioti too. Thanks for the comment.
@@basicswiththepetersons9076 I, too, was looking at the CK3510; but my brother-in-law (who has SEVEN tractors) told me: "You can never have too much horse power!" So I got the biggest tractor I could afford.
Well thought out. Do you use that water for just your gardens or your whole house? I have one tote just for my garden when it gets dry. Maybe you could make a couple stakes. Cut a notch at the top and put the other end into the ground. Then wedge it under the pipe which would hold up your line going to the tanks. I would use pressure treated stakes they will last longer. Thanks for the info.
Great, thanks for the suggestion to use stakes. Good idea. I do only use the water for the gardens and plants around the house. I would probably need to increase the capacity to close to 10,000 gal. We have 6 people that use water. Someday maybe...Thanks so much for the comment. Tim
Great stuff...I’m feeling a project coming on!!!
Hi, DJ Payne. Seems like there is always a project to be done. Best of luck with developing what works for you. Thanks for the comment. Tim
🌟💪 Well done . Very thorough! Love it!😊👍👍
Thank you! 👍 I appreciate your support. Thanks.
We are somewhat in the same boat...somewhat different. Our starting place was different as we lived on 1/3 of an acre in the city. When the boys finished hight school, we bought a house that sits on 20 acres with a pond in the country...not the typical empty nester plan. Have loved the first few videos and what you are doing. Thanks so much for sharing. Our trash service isn't quite as expensive as yours would be, but we may look to see what it would save us to set up a system like you have. Tim...actually this would be one more item I can put on the "Why I need a tractor list". Thanks to you both for sharing.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Every place has its challenges, but it’s exciting to hear what people are trying. The “need a tractor” list is a must. Best of luck!
Can you do a video about the extra lights on the rops?
Thank you for the comment. That is a great idea and addition to the tractor, especially during the dark months. I will definitely put the rops lights on the list. Thanks for watching and your comment.
🌟🚜 Congratulations!! Sounds like we’re neighbors and I have a Kioti tractor too. I look forward to your videos.👍🇺🇸🍺
Thank you for the comment... yes, we are neighbors. I actually subscribe to your channel. I know Cowlitz River Rigging. I bought my backhoe from them. $4300 consignment and basically a year old and never used. Your review #104 of the dealership... I recognized all the implements etc... anyway, thanks for the comment and keep with the videos... I am learning some good things from you. Thanks.
🌟👍 Nice job!
Thanks! 👍
Good Luck with the channel: I have a CK 3510 after retiring from large JD tractors and other utility. I never thought I would buy a foreign but all mid tractors are foreign mfg/built. 400 hrs and no major problems, just one hyd leak I tightened and no problem. I do all my own maintenance, I do use Kioti filters. Best of luck from an old Washingtonian living in Northern MN.
Bob, thanks for the encouragement. I am glad to hear that you do your own maintenance and handle some fix it jobs. I use Kioti filters as well. Great to hear from someone that is familiar with the Washington. I will put together some more tractor videos... those are the fun ones. Thanks for watching.
bob, which dealer did you buy your tractor from, and where do you have it serviced. I'm thinking about a ck3510se for the cabin up on the north shore...
@@touyang2846 I bought from Buffalo River Sales in Glyndon. You will want someone much closer. I do all my own service. Good luck
Nice place, would love to see that tractor in action, I'm hoping to buy a Kioti soon. Would also like to see how your rain water system works. Take care.
I will say... we are blessed. Thanks for watching. I will put out more tractor videos... those are the fun ones to make. Rain water collection is on the way. Probably in the next 2 weeks, weather permitting.
