Alright my friends, sometimes the game cartridge or SD card gets corrupted so here are a few more tips if your Switch has been infected by gloom:
1) Take out the game cartridge and SD memory card.
2) Plug in the USB C charger directly and let it charge for 3-5 min
3) Do the steps in the video with the charging cable plugged in
4) Once it's powered on, insert the game cartridge and SD Card

me too! 😂❤my switch was dead. the screen lit up but wouldnt do anything . i held down the power button 20 seconds....saw the screen long enough to know i am safe. it is charging and soon i will play animal crossing 😅 thanks to this video i wont worry the screen died forever

Lol I felt her pain haha. I have the animal crossing switch version and was devastated when it wouldn’t turn on. It was working fine before and was fully charged when I turned it off. I was like noooooo 😭. Glad she can play now and thanks to the creator of this video for the tip!! After the 20 seconds I pressed again and it immediately turned on. That beautiful Nintendo symbol showed up lol.
