thanks for this, Ive had a switch since they came out pretty much and my new oled switch randomly turned off and didn't want to turn back on while charging. The soft reset immediately fixed it, thanks!

@@cb20076 No, it did not. That is a hard reset. This is like holding your power button with the screen on and then automaticly rebooting it.

I'm having a problem where it dies even though it's at 30% I tried the 15 second method when it died and it didn't work. Is the problem that the battery shows it's higher than it really is?

I have touched my switch in a few weeks, mabye a month. And I noticed it lying on the couch, out of the case and I was worried that it might've been thrown, and broke.

Systems just need to reset sometimes. Turn it off normally every once in awhile does this.
