Hello, this happened to me! I have a HAC-001 switch and booted it to OFW recently to play some Mario odessy (officially). Nintendo prompted me to update my switch and I did. It never turned back on. It shows the Nintendo logo for 1s and then black screens. Emunand via SX OS on my old SD Card (thankfully i kept it around but haven't used it in years) confirmed my switch is still operational. Is this the same situation that you encountered?

Hello! How are you? I followed your guide to unbrick NSW level 1: very precise my compliments. Unfortunately I was not able to complete and now my switch is won’t pass the first Nintendo logo. Error: FATAL failed to copy systems save. The story of this consol: I buy from a guy who had this one stuckd on 2nd bootlogo. He tried for sure something on the eMMC but the problem was the WiFI/BT chip that went bad. After replacing it the switch show WiFi networks and BT using Linux LT4 on it, but it was still stuck ed to 2nd boot logo of original FW. So I went across your guide to repair the possibile corrupterd NAND. But now the problem is the one I told you

But I have 2 problem: Hekate now start SD 1 bit mode (all the sd card, also with a new reader. Should I replace connector on motherboard?) Second problem is: Joycons works only connected to the consol, bluthoot are not pairing. Wifi work perfectly, only joycon bluethoot are not pairin. Any advice?
You need to check the SD card connector. If bluetooth not working, check the network cables or maybe you need to re-sync the joycon using the bluetooth sync button

And how many times format my partition and replace a new hats pack from yourss, It messages the Emummc "pgk1 error or corrupted emmc" Will you tell me whats going wrong? Thank you
Followed this and everything seemed to be progressing fine until it reached "Backing Up System..." and has been stuck on "00[ 0%]" for about 20 minutes. I don't have any errors, but there is no progress indicator to let me know if it has stopped working or anything. Should i just keep letting it go for longer?
came back to say that right after i made this post it made some progress, but still took quite a long time. The OPs operating finished in about 17 minutes, mine took 148 minutes...
I tried the level one unbrick method. That folder is not being created after running GUI. I used the latest firmware in the FW folder. Not sure what else it may be?

I can't boot into ofw either. I tried the fix from this video and when I run the system restore it gives me an error saying [FATAL] Failed to copy 120 save. Do you know what it means?

You mentioned in this video to choose the latest firmware to download. Is this accurate? I just want to confirm. i.e. my switch lite is on 10.2 and I can just download 13.2 to use with this video?

mungkin sysmmc nya "rusak". kalo mau, dump emummc nya pake hekate,. lewat menu tools, backup emmc, lalu klik text di bawah yg tulisannya sd emummc, dia jadi on statusnya, lalu dump sd emummc boot0 dan boot1, lalu raw gpp nya. cabut sd, masuk ke folder backup, pindahin tiga file, rawnand.bin boot0 boot1 ke folder restore balik ke hekate, pilih tools, restore emmc, (gak perlu tekan sd emummc), lalu restore boot0 boot1 dan rawgpp. dgn demikian sysmmc nya memiliki isi yg sama dgn emummc.. stlh itu kalo mau di systemwipe, silahkan aja lewat tegraexplorer.

I followed every step carefully and when I press go in the emmchaccgen I don't get the folder. I get a keys file but it shows some errors and I can't boot into cfw with pkg2 and HOS error. Any help?
Hello there, When I run the script it reaches the writing BIS part but then shows "error NOFAT" I tried formatting the card to exfat, and also to fat32 with the new EmmcHaccGen that supports fat32, but both give the same error at the same time. Any ideas?
Also when dumping keys in Lockpick RCM there is the same error [FatFS] Error: NOFAT Unable to mount system partition Lockpick totally done in 64563 US ....
UPDATE: To anyone facing this issue, What happened in my case was that I was hacking 2 consoles at once and at some point confused their nand chips when installing the Hwfly....i changed them back, followed the instructions here and it worked.
Hi. All its fine. But on the end I got some errors. I don't have this option to select between apply on sysmmc or emumm. After I select restore both it's going good and error on the end (fatfs) error: no fat (Fatal) failed to mount system. This I tried from new SD card. I still have old SD card and I can turn on switch just from SD card. I can't start from Sysnand (internal memory) , all times black screen. Any solution for this?
After 5:54, when I Run the script for Emummc everything works fine until the end, but for SysNAND, the last part "backup System" get a fatal error. Any help? My Switch boot to hekate, but wont boot to EmuNAND and SysNAND, with or without hekate, wont boot even maintance mode.
@sthetix... i have done all these steps and the repair on 17.0.0 but the CFW from hekate just loads the atmosphere logo and then goes black... I cant do anything with the switch, I can load the hekate but cant get into the switch because of dark screen. I had issue when updated to 17.0.0 amp before and then i used haku33 and then things started to go wrong. I really need help with this. I dont care about save games or anything but as now i cant even get into OFW or nothing... just hekate... could you plz help! Thank you very much!!
When running SystemRestoreV3, it backs up and writes BIS but when it starts to backup SYSTEM it says [FatFS] Error: NOFAT [FATAL] Failed to mount system.

My switch lite won't boot into cfw or ofw, I tried following this step to unbrick it and even make sure to grab the latest firmware (18.0.0 which is also my current firmware) but now it says this Wrong pkg1 flashed: Erista pkg1 on Mariko! Did I do something wrong? Do something with the firmware got outdated for some reason?

I'm getting an error bis write failed when restoring boot0.bin I can see the user partition correct, I can move games from sd to emmc on my emunnad. But I get black screen when trying to boot to OFW. Is this a sign of damaged emmc? Should I try step 2 and 3 or give up?
It happened the same to me. It looks like in my case the cheap Aliexpress Modchip was to blame. I cannot boot into OFW but but emuMMC works fine. But when I restored the eMMC backup that I had from hekate and I put the eMMC back in place, lo and behold OFW runs perfectly. so my eMMC is not broken, somehoe the modchip is not reading/writing it correctly. I might get another but atm I might just run stock. Also it seems more of a Mariko issue so might be different if you have a v1/oled
maybe you need to ask an expert if the chip needs some alterings, like adding resistors etc. it could be a false alarm or a dead emmc chip. but if you have a working nand backup, please try to restore it
It is possible if you have modded the console. If the console freezes on the nintendo logo, maybe the wifi chip is broken or try to replace the sd card.

Getting a [FATAL] Error during 6:17, after launching script. Extracting boot.bis goes fine. Backing up BIS fails in line 4 (normal-sub 100%) I've redone the entire process from scratch four to five times, and still get the same error at the same point :( Apparently, a problem with keyblob 0 to 5 being corrupted (always get this when duping keys in 2:25) If I rebuild prodinfokeys using a donorprodinfo though another video tutorial of yours, would it work, maybe? i read if you have ever used CHOIDUJOURNX to update a mariko console you will get errors if you migrated to atmosphere because of a corrupt boot0. what about a day one console? what is a good starting point to migrate to atmos? will you still get an error and need to system restore?

Have done everything as in the video but still can't boot into ofw. get the nintendo logo then everything goes black for me. What is wrong and how can I solve it? Want to remove everything that has to do with jailbreak and be able to restore to original mode as it was straight out of the box and play online again. I didnt know which 'world' was broken, so I did it for the sysmmc first and after it completed, I tried to do it for emummc, but now it says fatal Failed to copy registered. How do I fix this? Also I try to launch into atmosphere, but atmosphere screen just flashes and goes to black screen. I only use emunand cfw

You say: download always the latest FW file. shouldnt you use the FW which was on the console ? how to update the main system to the selected Firmware ?

@@sthetixofficial Okay ill try it as I keep getting the error codes: 2002-0037 (0x4a02) with Atmosphere and 2002-0037 with OFW. Old emmc was dead so brought a new one and when following some of your older videos this is what happened. So I'm hoping this one will work :)
have u tried doing the systemwipe? on hekate, payloads, lockpickrcm, then back to hekate, payloads, tegraexplorer, select browse sd, then systemwipe, you will lose all the data using it but worth trying

@Honesty69 don't use this guide. Just delete the Nintendo folder or backup it first and test your console again

you don't do the unbrick guide if the problem caused by bad wifi chip.. try using a larger capacity sdcard

There is no OLED (aura.Mariko) option in emmcHaccGen. Can I use V2.mariko instead ?

I also tried the level 2 and the same issue, folder not being created... Do I try level 3 or maybe I did something something wrong with level 1 or 2?

cabut sd, masuk ke folder backup, pindahin tiga file, rawnand.bin boot0 boot1 ke folder restore
balik ke hekate, pilih tools, restore emmc, (gak perlu tekan sd emummc), lalu restore boot0 boot1 dan rawgpp.
dgn demikian sysmmc nya memiliki isi yg sama dgn emummc.. stlh itu kalo mau di systemwipe, silahkan aja lewat tegraexplorer.

I followed every step carefully and when I press go in the emmchaccgen I don't get the folder. I get a keys file but it shows some errors and I can't boot into cfw with pkg2 and HOS error. Any help?

Hello there, When I run the script it reaches the writing BIS part but then shows "error NOFAT"
I tried formatting the card to exfat, and also to fat32 with the new EmmcHaccGen that supports fat32, but both give the same error at the same time.
Any ideas?
Also when dumping keys in Lockpick RCM there is the same error

To anyone facing this issue, What happened in my case was that I was hacking 2 consoles at once and at some point confused their nand chips when installing the Hwfly....i changed them back, followed the instructions here and it worked.
Hi. All its fine. But on the end I got some errors. I don't have this option to select between apply on sysmmc or emumm. After I select restore both it's going good and error on the end (fatfs) error: no fat
(Fatal) failed to mount system.
This I tried from new SD card. I still have old SD card and I can turn on switch just from SD card. I can't start from Sysnand (internal memory) , all times black screen. Any solution for this?

After 5:54, when I Run the script for Emummc everything works fine until the end, but for SysNAND, the last part "backup System" get a fatal error. Any help?

@sthetix... i have done all these steps and the repair on 17.0.0 but the CFW from hekate just loads the atmosphere logo and then goes black... I cant do anything with the switch, I can load the hekate but cant get into the switch because of dark screen. I had issue when updated to 17.0.0 amp before and then i used haku33 and then things started to go wrong. I really need help with this. I dont care about save games or anything but as now i cant even get into OFW or nothing... just hekate... could you plz help! Thank you very much!!

When running SystemRestoreV3, it backs up and writes BIS but when it starts to backup SYSTEM it says [FatFS] Error: NOFAT [FATAL] Failed to mount system.

Restore folder is made by hekate so try to backup the boot0 and boot1 from hekate and it will create the restore folder.

My switch lite won't boot into cfw or ofw, I tried following this step to unbrick it and even make sure to grab the latest firmware (18.0.0 which is also my current firmware) but now it says this

It happened the same to me. It looks like in my case the cheap Aliexpress Modchip was to blame. I cannot boot into OFW but but emuMMC works fine. But when I restored the eMMC backup that I had from hekate and I put the eMMC back in place, lo and behold OFW runs perfectly. so my eMMC is not broken, somehoe the modchip is not reading/writing it correctly. I might get another but atm I might just run stock.
Also it seems more of a Mariko issue so might be different if you have a v1/oled

maybe you need to ask an expert if the chip needs some alterings, like adding resistors etc. it could be a false alarm or a dead emmc chip.

Is it possible for a sysnand ? I do an official update in the original system without any hack and it doesn't restart, it blocks on the nintendo logo
It is possible if you have modded the console. If the console freezes on the nintendo logo, maybe the wifi chip is broken or try to replace the sd card.

Apparently, a problem with keyblob 0 to 5 being corrupted (always get this when duping keys in 2:25)
If I rebuild prodinfokeys using a donorprodinfo though another video tutorial of yours, would it work, maybe?

You can try doing the unbricking method but please backup your nand first. Don't do the unbricking method without backing up ur current nand.

i read if you have ever used CHOIDUJOURNX to update a mariko console you will get errors if you migrated to atmosphere because of a corrupt boot0. what about a day one console? what is a good starting point to migrate to atmos? will you still get an error and need to system restore?

I didnt know which 'world' was broken, so I did it for the sysmmc first and after it completed, I tried to do it for emummc, but now it says fatal Failed to copy registered. How do I fix this? Also I try to launch into atmosphere, but atmosphere screen just flashes and goes to black screen. I only use emunand cfw

In the system restore v3 script i can't apply on sysmmc i only see apply on BIS, SYSTEM or both.
that applies to the sysmmc. IF you have the emummc then you will see the menu

Try deleting the atmosphere folder and extract my pack, github.com/sthetix/HATS and try to boot it again.

You say: download always the latest FW file. shouldnt you use the FW which was on the console ? how to update the main system to the selected Firmware ?
no. what i said is correct. always use the latest fw available. when u do this guide, it automatically installs the newest fw.

You need to use daybreak to update the console to the latest version then reboot to ofw afterwards

V1 patched doesnt work with the RCM mode, It needs a modchip.

check if the nand is correct under the nxnandmanager and check if u have flashed the bricked console with the rebuilt nand

@@sthetixofficial Okay ill try it as I keep getting the error codes: 2002-0037 (0x4a02) with Atmosphere and 2002-0037 with OFW. Old emmc was dead so brought a new one and when following some of your older videos this is what happened. So I'm hoping this one will work :)

have u tried doing the systemwipe? on hekate, payloads, lockpickrcm, then back to hekate, payloads, tegraexplorer, select browse sd, then systemwipe, you will lose all the data using it but worth trying
