happened to me with 17.0.1. At the time sysmmc wouldn't work so I ended up recovering from a backup, did another wipe due to custom apps, redid my backup, and now it's good. Thank you for this video!

I got this problem two months ago when upgrding my old 128gb microsd to 512gb and cleaning my dirty sysmmc, i didn't panick and load sysmmc as shown in the video.. it worked well till now..

great tutorial. I have followed it and now I am back to stock OFW. Quick question am I now safe to turn on/off the console without need to boot into hekate? For example could I delete all the atmosphere/hekate/bootloader etc files and folders now?

Hey sthetix, A while ago. I had done a haku33 wipe on my v1 unpatched cfw switch, and it didnt end up letting me boot so I ended up getting a new switch and I wiped the sd card from my old switch and put it on the new switch. my question being, is that can I just use a new sd card with files from your HATs pack to follow these steps to fix my old switch?

Firstly, I want to thank you very much for what you do for the Switch community, you managed to save my OFW. But I had a problem with Album, Homebrews no longer appear for me, I can place the file alone or in another folder within /switch and nothing solves it, only the themes appear.
try reformating the sdcard as fat32 and test it again

Try to boot to OFW and see if the touch screen is working.
I'm sorry for bothering you but i kinda don't get it i'm still nee to modding community, so you wipe your system to enter eshop safely, but i watched a video about modding a switch lite and what he did was blocking nintendo servers with the a .txt file and installed all the games on emunand and when he want to play online or doing something on the eshop just go and remove the .txt file and go to the ofw and thats it i tried it before but didn't get bann and i'm not fully sure about it so if you're kind enough could you explain

In short :
OFW / Semi-OFW and the SysMMC CFW is for legit games only
emuMMC - for "other" things

you can..because the fuse count will always be updated if you update via ofw or daybreak. it only affects a v1 console with autorcm turned on
I did everything well and can boot into sysmmc but the OFW button is greyed out and unable to be pressed. Why?

Hello, I did a system wipe and this fixed the black screen. However, I'm still getting error 2002-4686 - would you happen to know how to fix this?
I've had this issue since I updated my sysnand to 17.0 to play online. I have one question, is it safe to run atmosphere on OFW to apply the fix? Could I get banned from NSO? I have sysmodules installed on Atmosphere and I'm afraid I'll get banned if any traces of CFW are found on my sysnand and then I won't be able to play online.
just follow the video, it should be fine. running atmosphere won't get your console banned. do not listen to other people who said otherwise
I had two NS with the same problem, one was resolved perfectly but the other continues doing the same thing, I wiped it again with tegraexplorer and it took around 90 minutes (so slow) to complete but it remained the same, only the Nintendo logo and then a black screen. In emummc it works perfectly, before the errors began in sysnand it threw error 2162-0002 which points to a physical problem with the M92T36 chip but I don't believe it since in emummc it works perfectly, also on Android.

hello. I tried every process in your video but when i click to launch the SYSMMC CFW it shows the atmoshphere logo and fades to black with no sign of getting back to the home screen. Any way you can help me with this please. Im running on v 17.0.1

@@sthetixofficial basically after the black screen I’ve made an attempt to do a system wipe. After that I realised I can only access hekate and nothing else despite the numerous times trying to access daybreak via Home Screen. Turns out I might have plunged into a deeper hole than I thought. Apologies for the late response but that’s where I’m trying to fix at the moment. I followed your unbrick tutorials which has not fixed them ( v 1 ,2 and 3 )
I think you have screwed the console. the level 3 will wipe the console prodinfo. IF you have a working emummc, please dump it and restore it to your console.
Im back at the home screen and it says to delete the micro sd card data because it was used on another console what should I do?

Hi I have done some step in the tutorial but I can't go further because Hekate doesn't seems to let me boot into the OFW the icon can't be selected and is darker
you need to disable the AutoRCM to enable the OFW option.

i was wondering if you could help at all !! i was using haku33 and screen went black- ive tried holding the power button for 12 seconds like you said in the video, and i see the nintendo logo but it doesnt reboot back into hekate !! i dont know what to do !!
if your console is chipped, then maybe you need to retrain / reset your chip.

Everything went well until running OFW at the end and booting gave me “an error has occurred.” i tried your level 3 unbrick guide before this one and now my serial is XAW1000… how do i restore my original serial. i have a backup
You better restore your prodinfo with the one from your nand backup.

Gettings from Greece. I have a big problem the last three days. My Switch crashed while playing and after that crashes on launch with error 2002-4373. It's the v1 unpatched model, softmodded, latest firmware and atmosphere. I tried with Ultra, HATS, eradicating, vanilla atmosphere, I deleted the exosphere file, I deleted contents file, I used a new sd card but the problem didn't solve. I don't know what else I can do. I use sysnand as my Switch is used and was already banned. I can't get neither ofw and I can't make factory reset. In a second after switch logo is shown it show a screen that says the error 2002-4373...
Have you tried repairing it using the level2 unbrick guide ?
I think I have a broken switch.. when tegra explorer systemwipe shows up, everything just stops working. I can’t back out or hit the power button

I used Haku33 to wipe, but got a black screen with a flickering blue light at the home button. I came across your video and I held the power button for 12 seconds, and repressed the power button. I saw the Nintendo logo, but then the screen went black again. It won't let me back into hekate. (Maybe because I turned off AutoRCM, as was said in the Haku33 tutorial?)
My console is an unpatched console. I tried getting into RCM mode to load the hekate payload again, but it won't get me into RCM (I used volume up + the power button). Can't seem to get into any CFW. The only response I get is when I hold the power button for 12 seconds and then repress it again. Then I just see the logo shortly.
By now I have removed all the files from my SD and replaced it with the files from before I used Haku33, but still nothing getting anywhere.
I want to completely remove all CFW to simply use the switch on the OFW because I keep getting all sorts of errors and I am done with trying to fix it every time. I really hope you have an idea on how I should continue.
You need to use the RCM jig to get to the RCM mode and try to use my pack, codeberg.org/sthetix/HATS/releases
@@sthetixofficialsorry, forgot to mention that. Of course I used the jig, and I have also downloaded your HATS pack. In one of your other videos you said to replace the atmosphere and the bootloader folders with your folders from the hats pack. Or should I put all of your folders onto my SD?
By the way, the blue light at the home button is still flickering.

Blue light at the home button has nothing to do with the unbricking thing, it is the bluetooth / network.
if you send / inject the payload to the console even without the SD card (like hekate payload), the screen should show something.

kalo gak di mod sblmnya, dan kondisinya demikian, keliatannya ada banyak faktor. emmc chip nya jebol atau kerusakan di bagian chip wifi. coba bawa ke teknisi
@@sthetixofficial sebenarnya masalahnya kompleks, sebelum ngebrick, switchnya pernah digunakan pakai cfw softmod, tapi karena overheat/kepanasan saya masukin kedalam tas keadaan layar di matikan, jadinya kena (tidak bisa membaca SDcard yg menyimpan data CFW), akhirnya saya bersihkan dengan menghapus/mengembalikan kepengaturan pabrik untuk saya jadikan OFW, setelah ke OFW lalu saya upgrade FW ke 17.0….., dan akhirnya kena brick. Kalau kasus seperti ini apakah juga kena di EMMC?

Sebab device saya sudah tidak bisa masuk ke hekate lagi, karena kasus overheat yg mengakibatkan tidak bisa membaca sdcard, jika saya masukkan sdcard akan mental dan akan stuck di logo nintendo, setelah itu tidak bisa dimatikan, kecuali ditekan power lebih lama.

how did it happen and what did you do to the console? If you search on gbatemp, it has something to do with the power IC chip

it doesnt but as soon as you connect the ofw to the Nintendo server, you will get banned

I removed the chip to leave it in original mode and it also has the same problem
maybe you need to do the systemwipe method first, if it doesnt fix the issue, please do the level 1 or level 2 unbrick guide.

I apologize in advance, this might be a bit long and it's entirely my own fault for not understanding about haku33 before;
Chronology:
I may have accidentally activated systemwipe haku33. When it was done, the system proceeded to the tegra display as in the video, then gave me two options, wipe console or wipe emunand only.
Because I was a little panicked, I tried pressing the power button for 12 seconds to get back to the hekate, but it still returned to the display mentioned above. Maybe this is where I accidentally caused the system wipe to run and probably wiped my console. Somehow I was able to get back to Hekate by ejecting my sdcard and then insert it again, and then I got the problem where I couldn't enter the ofw/cfw system just like in the video. I've already tried to fix it just like in the video but it doesn't work on my switch.
Mine is V2 Mariko. Thankfully it's still able to go into Hekate so hopefully I can do something to fix it 😢 Do you have any solution please?

You need to do the level 3 unbrick guide and limit it to 16.1.0 firmware only.

Your HATS pack didn’t work for me, I had to painstakingly put everything back, also my console doesn’t dump the nand keys, safe to say my console is now a zombie

I am modded yes. I ended up buying a brand new console from the hell that we call nintendo. However i do not want to give up on this console and i replaced the nand. After doing that it was finally recognised, however i replaced the nand with a mariko on an erista. Also when putting the old nand from the erista into the mariko it throws up nothing. How does one flash the correct pkg1?@@sthetixofficial
Hey man, sorry for the late reply. I ended up buying a new switch, however i didn't want to give up on it so i replaced the nand on and attempted to boot through hekate. However i was attempting to repair an erista with a mariko nand and i didnt have the correct pkg1it also didnt dump nand before and i guess thats because it didnt detect anything. You need to check the fuse count as well.

I still have non functioning sysmmc. after following the steps. I geta, pkg2 decryption failed, pkg1/pkg2 mismatch or old hekate. message. I need help but i feel like so close to a fix.
try replacing the sdcard with other brands. if it doesn't work, maybe the sdcard connector is damaged
