    Perfect , I love the ultradark version if the new shape & with a Matte Carbon cover to contrast with the Gloss & Satin finishes i'd love to see it , but this! This is awesome , I'd probably get the RR from the new range (Aprilias are temperamental let alone adding electronic suspension) , really feeling this , very nice

    when I installed frame sliders on that bolt with the bracket, the instructions say to put a jack underneath the engine to keep it aligned, worked out for me (in case anyone wants to remove that bolt instead of bending the bracket).

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  9 месяцев назад +1

      @frankfeng6199 9 месяцев назад

      @@ALFAVITAGA i'm glad to be able to confirm it. It's funny you say that, because my RSV4 is the only bike where the instructions call for you to jack the bottom of the engine. Even for my Tuono and myriad of other bikes, I never needed to.

      @@frankfeng6199 Anything engine related I would always have a jack in hand just in case. Even if the instructions don’t say so. I know a person that removed the bolt on the RS660 and the engine dropped a bit and was misaligned. So better safe than sorry ✌️

    Great addition to the looks of the bike. I would however never have used that silicon glue. If you (or maybe a next owner of the bike) ever feel like removing the carbon frame covers the glue probably will have stained the frame permanently…. that’s a pity… 🤷‍♂️

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  7 месяцев назад

      Thanks! If it stains it, there are ways to polish it and buff it out. Plus I only used a small amount. I agree that for the entire frame I wouldn’t use silicon. I prefer double side tape. ✌️

      @@ALFAVITAGA I recieved these just today! thanks for the help thus far brother! I was wondering how did you apply the stickers to your fairings? Im not familiar with applying stickers so maybe you have some tips on how you did it?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  4 месяца назад

      @@shapelessdreams I wish I did a video showing how to apply the stickers because it’s impossible to explain over a comment. Unfortunately it’s very easy to mess them up. Part of the reason I didn’t make a video was because I wanted to concentrate on actually applying them right instead of trying to show how to do it. And even then I almost messed up the “a”. The only thing I can say over a comment is that you need painters tape and you have to use painters tape to keep the sticker aligned. Then you have to lift half the sticker, remove half the peel, and adhere half the sticker. Then you remove the painters tape and lift the other half of the sticker, remove the other half of the peel and slowly adhere the rest of it down. You will also have to use a heat gun or a hair dryer before you apply it. The “a” are the most difficult. Take all the time you need and good luck mate! ✌️

      @@ALFAVITAGA what do you need the heatgun for?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  3 месяца назад

      @@shapelessdreams The heat softens the decal and makes it easier to apply, adheres better as the residue warms up and helps eliminate air bubbles.

    One of the best estethic mod on Aprilia's bike. I'm just concerned if the heat would not completely melt the double sided tape. And I am able to wrap the carbon cover to have the color i want ?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  10 месяцев назад +1

      True! The silver raw frame is not a popular liking. I’m sure the heat will not affect the double sided tape. The 2023 RSV4 Factory has the Aprilia decal on the frame and the heat does not affect it at all. And the adhesive of the double sided tape is much stronger than the decal. You would also be able yo wrap the carbon cover and not have any issues with the heat for the same reasons as above. ✌️

    Will the triple clamp and clip ons from your 660 fit the RSV4? That would be very convenient.

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  9 месяцев назад +1

      The Bonamici clip ons from the RS660 fit. I got an identical set for my RSV4. But the triple clamp wont work because the RSV4 uses an ignition mount on the triple and the RS660 does not. Unless you don’t use the ignition on the RSV4 and you do a race setup. But even then I can’t confirm that the fork distances are equal to the RS660.
