    I have a 2017 Aprilia RSV4RR with a V3R Austin Racing Slip-on & I couldn’t agree more with you. I primarily ride street & it’s my daily bike. Yes spending an extra 300ish on the kit can be a bit of a stretch but for everything you’re getting with it, it’s honestly the best bang for buck. The T800+ isn’t just for tuning but it has diagnostic features and extras as well. If you’re wondering about whether to get just the UpMap or the whole kit, get the kit! Gabro gives you a voucher so the map is free!

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  15 дней назад

      The kit makes more sense as you save money overall and you get better performance but also better engine health which is probably more important than extra power 👌✌️

    With everything else on sale right now the savings arent that much. If you buy it all seperate its about $80 more. Basically with the kit you get the air filter free. Can get upmap and stacks for $960. But awesome video showing the results. I actually just ordered the upmap and exhaust for my '23 RSV4. Held off on the stacks for the moment but im sure ill be getting them sooner or later. I opted for some stealth mirrors. Wasnt sure if I wanted the stacks or the mirrors first but ultimately chose the mirrors. Crazy how expensive the rizoma mirrors are. Stacks are like $40 cheaper...

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  10 месяцев назад

      Yes with items individually on sale its only $90 savings. But on regular price its $200 in savings. Stealth mirrors are freaking expensive. I’m putting priority on other parts before I consider the mirrors. I never used the stealth on my RS660 anyway. They were always on the down position. But they come in handy when you need them. ✌️

    Here's my feedback! 1st thanks for all your videos with respects to all your new mods! Nicely done! Now you talk about increasing your hp and how that would reflect your time on the track. However it's not only the increase in hp but also the weight loss of both the old exhaust plus the servo motor. This in itself will shave off your lap time. 🏁 🏍 ✌️

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you! Weight reduction is always a huge plus in performance increase. I would take weight loss over HP any day. ✌️

      One last thing...Does your break boot heat up from your SC shorty exhaust? 🤔🫠

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  5 месяцев назад

      @@jonnyversteeg3445 Actually not at all. It’s surprising how much the exhaust does not affect the boot. It’s only when I place my foot on the ground on a stop, that the exhaust on idle hits my calf. But on idle it’s not hot enough or long enough to affect it either.

  • @DCGULL01

    Really like the channel, patience, just enough detail so I can understand. But, your doing the big boy version & focusing on the track. Mine will be - at best - once a year to the track. Also, street HP 100 is fine- we use so little at the edge. I really like the velocity stacks & possibly smoother, higher air flow from the air filter! I don't want to tune it to an inch of its life.

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  10 месяцев назад

      100hp is great for the street! But tuning the bike actually gives it life and not pushing it to its edge of life. It will perform better and more efficient.

    Hey mate ive just subbed unreal video
    Quick question. If i was to run titanium headers on this bike from say arkopovic, say the $5500 full system with headers than even swap out to a sc project can
    Would the titanium headers themselves add a few more HP? Or hard to tell
    Also if i was to go a -1 +1 520 chain on a RSV4 how would that hold up to a 23 s1k m side by side?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you! I can’t speak for compatibility between Akra and SC as I haven’t confirmed that. But titanium headers would probably give you one extra horsepower. Nothing crazy. If you’re not racing it’s not worth the cost. I’ve ridden an S1k and it felt sluggish compared to the RSV4. For me the RSV4 is a rocket as it is but a lot of people claim that changing to 520 chain with taller gearing makes the bike 1000 times better. I’m going to do this mod soon. When I do I’ll make a video on this subject.

  • @franklinwilkerson2061

    I wonder how much more power you could get with a longer exhaust. Seems like the little stubby cans never put out as much power as an Akrapovic or similar. Love the weight savings, sound and look of the GP22 though.

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  4 месяца назад

      Probably around 2whp more. For me sound and looks is what I was going for. At 200+whp a couple more don’t mean much unless you’re racing.

    I put in stacks and saw no difference right after installing and putting the bike on the dyno. Did you ride yours after the stack install then dyno later. I am wondering if the map needs to bake in. Thx

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  8 месяцев назад +2

      I felt no difference when I took the bike out for a ride. But when I reviewed the videos of before and after the bike would accelerate a lot faster. It does make a big difference but it’s not enough where you would feel it on your hands. You would see it on the lap timer for sure though.

    It looks like you tuned before stacks and after stacks. We’re you running the shorty map before stacks? Did you feel a significant difference between that and stock? How about the difference between pre and post stacks and stacks map?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  7 месяцев назад +1

      I actually tuned it only once at the same time I installed the stacks. I just did two separate recordings. So I went from riding it completely stock, to riding it with a GP22-Velocity Stacks-Map-Filter at once. I didn’t feel much on my hands regarding power, but when I timed the acceleration there was a significant difference.

      @@ALFAVITAGA thanks for the update man! I’ve used one of these t800’s on my last Ducati. I know Gabro has a name in the Aprilia world, but why did you decide upmap over like bt moto?

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  7 месяцев назад +2

      @@nikkotulloch9497 When I entered the Aprilia world with my RS660, I had no information on ECU tuning and aftermarket supply options. In search of both, I found that Gabro was holding the title in the Aprilia world. So as you mentioned, the number one reason was popularity. The second reason was feedback from reputable vendors. They all recommended Gabro over Aprilia Race ECU, but no one ever mentioned BT Moto. When I purchased my RSV4, thats when I learned about BT Moto. I heard great feedback on BT Moto, but I felt invested already in Gabros maps, as I was a bit biased based on reputation and the fact that I have great communication with Gabriel over DMs and social media forums on support that is not only related to tuning and maps but general valuable information on overall mechanical engineering. Having that support, I was naturally inclined. And of course the undisputed fact that Gabriel is one of the top Aprilia tuners out there. Price is also a big factor. For a tune-stacks-filter package, BT is priced at $1400, whereas I paid something around $900-950 for the Gabro combo. Some claim that with a BT combo you will gain more HP. But for me HP is not the number one factor of choice. Overall engine reliability, proper QS tuning, radiator fan tuning, emissions bypass, etc, takes priority over power. Im not implying that BT Moto does not offer all that. All Im saying is that my personal lack of knowledge in BT Moto, steered me to Gabro. Who knows, maybe my next bike will be tuned by BT Moto.

    A proper exhaust and a dyno tune will give a better graph. Short pipes dont give good midrange or power compared to akroprovic or spark or sc1r pipes. And a dyno tune you will get atleast another 5+whp.

    • @ALFAVITAGA
      @ALFAVITAGA  18 дней назад +1

      With a dedicated tune that pushes it a bit more and a full exhaust like the ones you mentioned above I could probably gain 3hp. 5hp more would be pushing the tune and engine too much. I’d rather keep it safe since it’s a road bike.

    Single gear pulls are bulls*it as are any numbers off a dynojet dyno, AFR tuning is bulls*it all the popping and flame shows that.
