So I just got this tune on my 2024 R1 got it back yesterday, I also purchased the code scanner to clear the codes after install ( you need an adapter to use it that no one mentioned lol). Unplugged the O2 sensors leaving them in the exhaust and followed the instructions bike started and idled way nicer then before but engine light was on took it for a spin down the street and ran horrible quick shifter was horrible was thinking I made a mistake, next day headed to the bike shop to clear the codes and when I stopped for gas like 5 miles from my house the bike had cleared the code it's self, now the bike runs unbelievably better it's so smooth the auto blip on down shifts is amazing it spits blue flames I absolutely love it bike just needed a few miles to correct its self 🤗🤗 highly recommend Moore mafia tunes!!

Always been my dream bike. If you could change the modes from full power to pop/bang and back again, that would be awesome. Be able to switch it depending on where you are or what you want to do.
EBM. Can be set 1-2 or 3. 1 being the most intrusive meaning. It will provide the rider with the most engine braking. Vs 3 being the least intrusive or the least amount of engine braking. I like setting EBM to 3, the bike doesn't engine brake nearly as muchand it also POPS AND BANGS on decel way more. 100% tried and true.
the pops only happen when you are slightly pulling down on the throttle mate

@@foxxrider250r we'll see how long they keep it going. We still get the full Suzuki lineup, CBR600RR, and a bunch of other bikes that were discontinued in the European market.

Pretty sure R1’s are inline 4’s, they only sound the way they do because of the firing order of the pistons (cross plane crank) which gives it that rumble 👍🏼

Hi Moore Mafia, i'm Rémy, french Woolich-certified installer.
I'm about to receive my new yzf r1 and I saw on the Woolich site that all versions of ECU R1 2020 to 2023 are noted as "Read type: send in to read".
Did you have to send the ecu back to Woolich for unlocking and then allow access via the software?
On my R6 2019, all I had to do was flash the ecu once to enable reading and modification.
What's the situation with the latest R1 models?

Are USA bikes restricted ? Bike magazine UK dyno'ed the current R1 at 192 bhp .
I wanna know all the real disadvantages of the pops and bangs. I had this flash done to my R1 and it torched my valves twice in about 4000ish miles.

I have the exact same bike. 2024 black R1. I'm in texas, where are you? I want this done after I get my full exhaust.. I only have about 400 miles on it, though at 600. I'll get it serviced.

I know things are not really comparable since I have no clue about what correction factors and scale it was done in.
But I dynoed my R1 2022 race bike with full Akrapovic, GYTR ECU and so on and my bike made 204hp on the rear wheel
This tells me that the we have not used the same settings on the dyno since there is no way there could be such a difference.

I have seen the same difference on bikes imported from the US.
Change to EU loom and ECU or GYTR stuff and the bike is transformed completely

Yamaha just won't be selling the road legal R1 in Europe. It will be sold track-only in Europe.

Is there a way you could put a switch on the bars to switch the map to have the burble tune on/off. It’s cool, but I couldn’t deal with that every time I’m off the throttle.
Only pops when you give it 1% throttle, if you just let off it won’t pop

@@brandonbeznoska fuel cut on decel is what creates the burble. I always thought it was on or off. Not throttle dependent. I’m messing around with my old eg civic. I have hondata and I’m slowly learning. Lol
SO i have a 24 R1 also, been trying to do a burnout but the bike jsut will not allow it. traction control is off, do i need to pull the abs fuze?

Hey guys, I'm super ignorant to tuning and was just wondering if the backfiring on deceleration is normal or not? Regardless if it is or isn't, is it bad for the engine? I already ride, but I have never considered tuning and I was starting to think about it.
Yes. Will cause over heating of the exhaust valves. You want the crackle tune, not the bang tune. It involves deceleration timing adjustments, not fuel. Most tuners are shit and don't understand how to do it.

Probably just send the ecu back. If you ordered the pops and bangs option I’m sure they’ll take care of it. If you didn’t, maybe they can just charge you for it and add it on. 🤷♂️
Why does the new R1's have such a deeper sound to them now than all the rest of the new bikes. I mean I love they way they sound just wondering what Yamaha do to the heads to make them sound so different now... And love the pops and bangs

189 respectable for ANY R1, I'm a fan of the cp4 engine, sounds awesome compared to standard flat plane crank engines.

That's just a quirk of the S1000RRs, especially the earlier ones, the QS, cuts fuel and the mapping adds some after resulting in the common "bang" you get.
will say my gsxr 750 deff still super choppy rough and bogs like shit at low rpms after flash lol :(
