Enhorabuena desde Italia a los hermanos argentinos. Partido espectacular, aguantando punto a punto hasta los últimos 15 minutos, cuando emergió la mejor forma física de los Pumas. Junto con Irlanda, Francia, Nueva Zelanda y Sudáfrica, al día de hoy son una de las cinco mejores selecciones del mundo. Damn after the Bokke, Argentina are my FAVOURITE team!!! Bar none. I LOVE the spirit and style of Argentine rugby. Have followed Argentine rugby since I was a schoolboy in the 80's. They have really grown to a super, dynamic squad!
They also seem to be the one fanbase that actually likes us as well lol. I often see nice and complementary comments from Argentinians. Lovely people, and theirs is a similar style and ethos to ours.

Yes they are producing some amazing talent in 7s and 15s but don’t forget the old guard. Creevy and Lavinnini oversaw the transformation.
Crazy how good Argentina are in both Football and Rugby, obviously they’re much much better in football but their rugby game has gotten better over the years, other rising nations are Italy, Portugal, Japan, and maybe Canada.
Unfortunately it seems Australia has started to lose interest last few years 😔

Isn't it crazy when you remember how they entered the competition, off the back of a shock great 2007 performance by them, but in the beginning All Blacks were thrashing them every game. Even when they showed promise they couldn't win for like the first 3 years. Then it was that first win. Now they up and up, another respectable semi final appearance against those same All Blacks. They not quite there to beat them 50 50 percent of the time but against SA and Australia definitely. And I'm pretty sure only SA have more tests won in the last decade in NZ than Argentina, while the Irish even are less with 2 I think. Not bad company. That or I could be talking BS and we on par. 😅. I remember two lively wins since 2018 but thinking I'm forgetting one. I also remember the 2009 one clear as day, that's how much a win in NZ means.

Many years ago Argentina was known as a team with a decent scrum but no backline that could compete against the best. My how that has changed in the last 10 years.
That was not entirely true, if search you can watch very good backline tries, I remember a really good one against AB in the 80's between others, but yes, Argentina have until some scrum rules changes a stunning scrum, so, in the mind only that is remember
I agree to an extent although they did have good fast backs during the amateur era it was just that their game was more forward based relying on kicking up field for lineout ball and forward based dominance for tries. Those days are over with fully pro overseas based players and the TRC every year a flowing faster style has emerged.

As an Englishman I have to say, the Argentinians are a force to be reckoned with now. We won a summer tour there a few years back (I think Cipriani played 10 if memory serves) and it was CLOSE! I really feel that this is good for Rugby Union that we have more teams that can compete at the highest level. It makes it much more exciting to watch as a neutral, everyone wins

Wow! As an English Rugby fan living in the US I try to watch full match replays of the Rugby Championship and avoid the scores. Sometimes I have to pick a game to watch just the highlights instead. I didn't give Argentina a chance of winning in NZ and now I'm full of regret - what a game of Rugby!!!

A detail that was missed at 0:38, the Argentine player could have hoofed that loose ball, but he backs out because he sees that there's a good chance he'd kick Sam Darry in the process. Fair play.
