What a game. Very scrappy from both sides, but the intent and physcality were just breathtaking from both sides. This game, both sides put their body on their line. In terms of penalties, it was like both sides were more eager to have the higher count, haha. Unbelievable comeback from SA in the last 10 minutes. I really wanted the All Blacks to run away with it, but man, in the end, SA was too good. We definitely took our chances better with ball in hand compared to SA. Discipline let SA down in the first half while AB in the second half. We were considerably lucky we only had 1 yellow card with the absurd amount of penalty against us in our own 22 and simple handling errors from SA. Other than that. Kudos to South Africa for a hard physical game and exciting comeback. Proud the All Blacks could measure up to the physicality of the springboks and their scrum. Alot to take away for next week, cheers.

From NZ myself. You can't deny the bok's forward power at the moment, best in the game. Nice dynamic back play from the AB's, but I think Razor needs another year or so to really get the team back to full force.

At 67 min mark, I gave up on the game. When I came back at 75 min mark and saw the score, I was p!ssed at myself for giving up. It wasn't the best performance by either side but man, am I p!ssed for missing those 8 minutes. WELL DONE BOKKE!

Did you notice the shot clock for conversion kicks today? I re-watched full game to check this. Only 60 secs were allowed for conversions. But the new law says you're allowed 90 secs for conversions (60 secs for penalties): "Law 8.8d Conversion. The kicker takes the kick within 90 seconds (playing time) from the time the try was awarded, even if the ball rolls over and has to be placed again. Sanction: Kick is disallowed."

As a person from NZ and supports the all blacks many people are gonna start whinning about South Africa's first try but theres no point because theres nothing you can do about it

@@MarkWilly-z8u NZ had a 10 point lead with 20 min to go. They lost the match from an extremely favorable position. Your problem is the bench, blaming the ref isn't going to generate 8 better players. Ref was poor, but you also benefitted with the first yellow and you scored from that position too.

As an All Blacks supporter, but most importantly a rugby fan, I appreciate the fact I had to scroll down a fair while before I noticed the ref mentioned is why I love the sport of Rugby! No excuses, only lessons!

What game were you watching? I'm pretty sure it was a try. No clear separation + downward pressure is the law, so don't make it something it wasn't.
It wouldnt have been a knock on regardless. Someone ripping or knocking out a ball of a attackers hand like Jordie did, means play continues. And since we had advantage and was on the 5 meter line. We would hav scored 5 seconds later because we already clearly had momentum...

Did you notice the shot clock for conversion kicks today? I re-watched full game to check this. Only 60 secs were allowed for conversions. But the new law says you're allowed 90 secs for conversions (60 secs for penalties):
"Law 8.8d Conversion. The kicker takes the kick within 90 seconds (playing time) from the time the try was awarded, even if the ball rolls over and has to be placed again. Sanction: Kick is disallowed."

I think it is but the ref also missed the clear obstruction of the New Zealand try. Kind of balances it out.
