Sounds really good. Im not sure i can justify buying kooks in 2022 tho. 2800 for headers and xpipe is pretty steep.
It’s very worth it but if you’re looking for a cheaper option BBK makes a more affordable LTH and mid pipe but I prefer the sound of kooks
@@smfc3660 I've been considering it but I think if I do it I'll ball out like an idiot because the kooks just sound that good
I tried a few combinations until I ended up with the current set up. I did like the sound of the stock mufflers vs the pypes violators at Idle but running wise the Violators sound better. Still the SLP sounds very good. Nice job.
There are so many different combinations of exhaust systems available it took me forever to decide on a setup which is actually why I decided to post a video of mine to help someone else find their perfect setup!

I just got my cams in the mail. Running it with a borla attak setup
Best one I heard I plan on getting an 05 gt and getting a set up like yours but it's gunna be straight piped from the headers no cats, no muffler just gunna do a side exit behind the rear axle

Have the same setup going to be here tomorrow except I’m throwing some exhaust cutout valves right before the cats in case I wanna be real rowdy 😉😂 sounds great man! can’t wait to hear it on my manual 05 GT! Is it difficult to keep quiet? Like if a cop is behind you at a light is it pretty much a guaranteed ticket or will timid driving keep it reasonable?
It was extremely difficult to keep quiet and actually ended up getting me in trouble enough to where I put a valved muffler system on to replace the loudmouths. Much quieter now unfortunately but can still make some noise when needed
How did you buy the headers and x-pipe for the automatic trans? Love the car by the way
I don’t believe it matters… when I bought them off of American muscle it didn’t specify whether it needed to be auto or manual
Sounds great why did you go with hot rod cams . I'm thinking about comp cams stage 2 .I tried that intake but lost to much bottom end even with my 430 gears
I went with hot rod cause it’s a good mix between performance and sound plus there were no springs required just needed to change out the phaser bolts

Do the SLP loudmouth's actually do anything. Looks like a straught through pipe? I want something alittle quieter than straight piped
I would definitely go with a high flow muffler then. Loudmouths are insanely loud and there’s no muffler making it a straight pipe.

How is the drone on normal cruising and hwy speeds? Music to my ears!!
The drone was not bad at highway speeds like 55-70. Having a 4.10 gear ratio helped with the drone.

Around like 900 depending on temp it’s Bama tuned so whatever they have their base idle set to

Stock bumper with a rear diffuser from American muscle
